@kensredemption Yes, we can customize the N3DS but I think it's more important to have games to play on it, possibly localized and without waiting for years...

Re: Rodea: The Sky Soldier Confirmed For Release In North America And Europe

"It’s finished as Wii title and as of now we have no plans to bring it to Wii U," Naka answered. "Rodea was made specifically for the Wii so players could enjoy it by flicking the remote. If we tried to incorporate those controls into the large Wii U controller it wouldn’t be the same. I would really like for people to play and enjoy it on the Wii as I had originally intended." (Siliconera, 2011)
So, how it ended? No gyro or wiimote on the WiiU version?

Re: Reaction: Super Smash Bros. amiibo Support Shows That NFC For The New Nintendo 3DS Is No Gimmick

@Ninty4thewin says "But what everyone is forgetting is that these aren't Skylanders, they can be used in multiple games."
Skylanders unlock new characters and new levels as a "normal" DLC and can be used in different games of the series. Amiibos unlock only skins and weapons as microtransactions do, so basically one should use every single amibo at least with 10 different games to balance the purchase.

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS)

I agree with all the younger or new gamers that this is a good chance for them to play such titles, which are brand new in their eyes, but please understand the older players! Many of us need new games to keep intact our old love for gaming and this is why we prefer new not-so-perfect IP (like Wonderful 101 and the upcoming S.T.E.A.M.) instead of perfect old classics.
(I'll bury the hatchet saying that I'm just replaying now Metroid Prime even if I still have it for my GC but I'm also upset for the lack of a Metroid U)

Re: Cult PlayStation 2 Title Legend Of Kay Is Getting Remastered On Wii U

The actual publisher, Nordic Games, acquired this and other titles from the original publisher, JoWooD Entertainment but they acquired THQ too, which had many more attractive IPs like De Blob, Red Faction and Deadly Creatures. I wonder if they will work on these games... A more polished Deadly Creatures, with realistic HD graphics would be great!

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

When I saw +200 comments on an article written the very same day that Hyrule received its DLC and Metroid Trilogy was released I asked myself "What are they talking about? It must be very important". Then I realized that YouTube celebrities exist. Oh dear... Maybe I'm just an old, boring aged gamer, but this is too much for me! If only I were at home now, playing with my WiiU...

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th January (Europe)

@OorWullie Thanks!
I cannot wait to replay MP 1 & 2 with the wiimote since I missed Trilogy, and I hope Nintendo will put on the eShop some of the New Play Controls Wii games like Pikmin 1 & 2 and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. I bet many new players would love them.

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th January (Europe)

@whodatninja @Fullbringlchigo Thanks! That means I can leave the console in standby at his house and the next day everything will be ok, right? I know I can't unplug it, but I wasn't sure about the meaning of that orange light that I see sometimes when my console is in standby: WiiU not only looks for updates, but it can download too then...

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th January (Europe)

andreoni79

Some questions from a digital noob: I'm gonna download both Metroid (heard is about 8GB) and the Hyrule dlc + update at a friend's house. Does the console download and install things even when it's off? In that case, I should just start the downloads and turn it off, leaving the console doing its job during the night?

Re: Capcom's Ryozo Tsujimoto Feels Monster Hunter Is Gaining Traction In The West

andreoni79

We all know that western players prefer home consoles and the game could use wisely the gamepad, better than MH3U did, showing its potential. I read in an article that risk taking isn't rewarded by Nintendo: well, maybe they could help Capcom porting their game to sell easily tons of WiiU in Japan and many more copies in the West than its uncomfortable portable version.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Prices Pop Up in Italy, and They're Not Bad

andreoni79

@GH05T No money, maybe? I'm a precarious worker in Italy and gaming is an expensive hobby here. I had no problem upgrading my old DS (the huge gray one) with a DSi because the difference were huge, but N3DS doesn't appeal me at all. Unfortunately, I can't play any big ActionRPG, JRPG or survival horror on my WiiU because, well, I can't find any. Now I can still buy some good 360 game for € 10, but soon I'll have to buy a new home console...
