I could play this on Sundays with my nephews and I'm sure it would be great, but what about single-player? Is it challenging enough for a F-Zero Gx veteran?
If this is not better than the others, I'd rather buy a Dinasty Warriors 6 or 7 for just € 10 and play it on my 360. They must use wisely the Hyrule setting.
If you are reading this and you have never played Mario Galaxy 2: what's wrong with you? What have you played in tha last 4 years? This world is DOOMED!!!
@OdnetninAges Even if 7/10 is not a bad score, many here have more than one console, that meaning many games look more interesting than this. And if you consider that this is 3 times more expensive than Child of Light, you realize that Nintendo must try harder.
Strange they didn't mention the lovely Soul Bubbles, because their gameplay look very similar. And shame on you, Nintendolife, because you didn't review that ignored gem! https://www.nintendolife.com/games/ds/soul_bubbles
Oooooooooh yes, bring it to the West! I'm playing Project Zero 2 for the first time on my Wii U right now after finding the game on a € 10 bin! HD graphic and the best controller ever will make this game a beast!
@Unca_Lz You're right and, as anyone who is daily related with young kids can testify, we adults can be sometimes a bit too embarassed and clumsy talking about certain arguments while the kids just laugh about that... (did I sound so worried? )
@Unca_Lz I'm 100% sure of it. I'm just wondering about how much the game uses these relationships... @hiptanaka I work with kids 6-14 and I know wheel what are you talking about! BTW, I'm not worried at all, maybe my bad english made me sound too apprehensive...
@hiptanaka In Sims my niece created her family, but she plays as "the kid". In this game you can only play as the adult... just curious about Mii interactions. I'm sure she'll have no problems and she'll laugh at all the weird situations as only a kid can do!
Finally, let's start talking about the game now. My niece is 8 years old: is it correct to let her play a game about relationships and having kids? I saw only adult Miis in videos and screenshots...
"The pretence of the impartial investigation of truth, with the resolve to make the established religion the result, indeed the measure and control of truth, is intolerable and such a philosophy, tied to the established religion like a dog to a chain, is only the vexatious caricature of the highest and noblest endeavor of mankind." Arthur Schopenhauer
@Uno Obviously, but those who still consider homosexuality as a sin can just answer No and stop ruining not only the real life of others, but also their virtual one!
BTW, I've only seen videos and screenshots involving adult Mii...
This is how it should work: 1) Select New Game 2) Create your Mii 3) Answer Yes or No when the game asks you if you think that same sex marriage is ok.
Oh wait... stop complaining, people! If we pre-order eShop games, they offer us FREE DELIVERY! But only in UK... Their unintentional sense of humour is so lovely!
It looked good since the first trailer, now it also "sounds" good!
I just saw the game intro: fully localized in italian! Good job, Ubi! (it shows also that before a new game we can choose between "normal" or "difficult").
@Miss_Dark At least here in Europe, I can assure you that no one will spend € 100 ($ 140) for double dipping SSB. Nintendo shouldn't forget that most of its past success was due to parents buying their kids a 3ds (and a flashcard to illegally download games...) or a Wii (and a lot of cheap shovelware...)
We had Viewtiful Joe on both GC and DS, but they have their reasons. I just can't understand this... What are the main differences between the two versions? Giving 3ds and WiiU their exclusive mode which isn't build on consoles peculiarities sounds weird...
Thank god the game has been fully localized in many different languages, so it won't scare those who don't speak english. @Meuz The official site says: "Register your team online and face challenges from all over Europe! Top the league tables by out-scoring other sides in Ranking Matches and see how you place Europe-wide or by your country. The world of football never stops, so watch your rank and set up fixtures regularly to hold your position!"
@booker_steve Aaargh... now I want to play Cannon Fodder again! Maybe the controls should be: touch to move, touch + LB to shoot and touch + ZL to toss grenade. Or something like the stylus-driven Zelda Phantom Hourglass.
@Nintenjoe64 Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer on the Amiga were my very first videogames! I didn't know SNES got CF2. It seems the GB Color version was good! http://www.ign.com/articles/2001/02/21/cannon-fodder
@ToniK 22% in Italy... Just curious: how much is Metal Gear GZ in Finland? Here it's € 40 (while lucky americans complain because $ 30 is too much)
Talking about the games chart, Sony-Nintendo 14-6.
"It's a selling-point, enough of one to generate buzz among fans on sites such as this, anyway, and directs attention to the Wii U."
UJTI: unintentional joke of the year
Here in Europe people are literally raiding shops asking for the brand new Nintendo home console, the only one that let you play the GBA games!!! Please Nintendo, ship more consoles in EU, quickly!!!
@Melkac I know and I can't care less about MvsDK. I'm saying there's this technology which could be useful to port old games and adding them new features, but they don't wanna use it. Remember the New Play Control games on Wii? Take a GC game, move it from 4:3 to 16:9, use the console features (i.e. wiimote for pikmin 1 and 2) and sell it at budget price. Shouldn't they do something similar for the gamepad?
What I meant with my first post, is that Nintendo can (but do they want to?) port their huge library on a struggling console, using wisely its most ignored feature, the gamepad. But how long do we have to wait (WiiU is out since november 2012...) if we still don't have a proper account and cross buy/play? And what's the point in releasing games like Tennis and Golf for the VC asking € 5 each?
