Am I wrong or these Amiibo only unlock something that an update added to the game software? I mean, Toad seems perfect for themed DLC, but why should I need to buy those expensive figurines for unlocking extra levels that I can simply buy on the eShop? I'm sure Amiibo will only be used for little extras as costumes.

@millarrp They already ported it on PS3 in 2011, so they could easily put that version on eShop, supporting both Gamepad and Wiimote.

Ok. This makes me wonder why they worked so long and hard to port a game that surely will sell bad instead of creating a sequel for ZombiU that would sell well.

I don't know how it works in US, but here in EU we use to buy presents for kids even for January 6th (another christian holyday). Nintendo is just saying: buy your kids a WiiU + Mario World for Christmas and come back for Toad Treasure.

EDIT: game available in EU January 9th, according to Amazon (€ 39) and Gamestop (€ 59)! What?

@retro_player_22 Making these Sega remakes can't be so expensive and hard. I'd prefer to see Nintendo treating only their best games in Sega style instead of porting even their worst **** just to fill up the VC list.

Batman Arkham Asylum should be the standard for a new 3d Metroid game.
Nintendo seriously lacks an ARPG. A Monolith one per generation is not enough.

Loved the first one on the Wii. I still have to play the second one, but I think I'll go for the 360 version to enjoy HD.

I'll play some Fatal Frame 2 Wii edition. If I had to choose between those in your list, Luigi's DM is the best one, and ZombiU in Survivor mode is a real nightmare!

Just played the first mission twice and I already love this game, even if I've spent most of the time switching between Zelda and Warriors controls style... At the end I had to chose the Zelda style because I refuse to open a chest using Y instead of A

@rjejr The cartoon Link had wonderful expressions; maybe I love WW so much because I still laugh hard at his scary face when he walks on a edge of the wall! And his eyebrows...!!!

@rjejr If they will be able to mix the funny stealth gameplay seen in Windwaker with the insane action of this spin-off, then the next Zelda U will be the best ever!

I just hoped they were spending time in using wisely the gamepad (with gyroscopes and the touchscreen that can emulate all those buttons it seems the perfect steering wheel) instead of simulating every single raindrop...
