BTW, this technology with "the overall goal being to allow for easy ports of applications to the Wii U" should attract a lot of indie PC devs and show new or better ways to use the gamepad...

Are you people still wondering why you don't get GBA games on 3ds? Because you'd realize how much better they are then their brand "new" sequels... Instead of buying my niece this _____, I rather borrow her my 3ds with Ambassador's games... because yes, I have the almost perfect Yoshi's Island on my 3ds VC, it exists, it is ready since 2011, but you first should spend $ 45 for Yoshi's NEW Island. Have fun, and please understand me.

@Bass_X0 Edge is so elitist that rated 9 or 10 most of the Mario and Zelda games in the last 10 years... If they just gave a 4 to this, maybe it's simply because they think it's a bad game.

Nintendo will never go cross-buy until people accept to spend again and again up to $ 10 for 20 years old games. And the only reason Nintendo will never publish games for tablets and smartphones it's because they won't be able to justify their ridiculous prices on those platforms.

@Dark-Link73 Most of the so called "European" promos are UK only, and living in Italy I'm in your same situation; and btw these "promos" are always very expensive... lol, quite strange for being a promo! I'm sure US don't get everything, but every time I think at Bravely Default (US collector edition cheaper than the EU regular edition!) or SMT IV, I simply go mad.

We already have the gamepad and it would be perfect for a new Project Zero, a new Resident Evil and a new Metroid Prime: they all simulates a pseudo-scanner in their gameplay and now that we have a real one in our hands, we get nothing like that.

@Beechbone You're right. I'm sure people would spend 1 or 2 bucks for a Mario Runner (and then a Yoshi Runner, a Donkey Runner, a Samus Runner...) and they would be useful to promote the series on WiiU.

The second screen is useless only if you don't know how to use it, even only for an aesthetic reason (no maps or hud on TV ruins the atmosphere). And Tropical Freeze still look gorgeus on the gamepad.

I'll be playing Dark Souls 2 for months and when (and if) the Wii U version of WD will be out, the game will already be $ 25/30 on other consoles. It's a dead duck and Ubisoft knows it...

Third-party devs are already involved in the PS3/360 and PS4/XBONE affair (without forgetting PC). They are just reasonably ignoring a bad selling console, nothing more. The problem is that Nintendo is not working for giving us their version of RPG, FPS, action RPGs...

Never played before, so I'll give it a chance. But I understand the disappointment of those who have other versions. However local competitive multiplayer sounds good: 5 people screaming and hitting each other for such a Zen game...

Just wonderful. The multiplayer sounds good: I tried to play Trine 2 with my 10 years old niece, but the controls are too intricated for her. She'd love this art style! (Is anybody else here thinking of how many 2D old games would look great if revisited with UbiArt Framework?)

This means that maybe their next handeld will have a qHD screen and enough power to run a downgraded Wii U game, so we can play the same game on two consoles. Just pay the $ 20 extra for each game...

Good news to me, even if I always choose retail when possible. At this point, we can hope at least for the digital version of SMT IV. However, they shouldn't milk us asking € 40, or I'll wait for some of their usual (in NA) sales...

@TreesenHauser You are right, but you are talking only with core gamers, cutting of the 50% of customers that made the fortune of 3DS and Wii.
Don't you think that my niece and thousands of new gamers would happily spend €10/15 for games like Super Princess Peach or Kirby Canvas Curse on the 3DS eshop instead of looking for cartridges that costs, here in Italy, €50 on Amazon and €30 at Gamestops (used, and always not available)? Parents of kids who had a 3DS as first console should love these cheap Ninty games...

A good platform game requires precision and I'm happy I don't have to move my hands away from the stick and the buttons for some tapping.

@TreesenHauser People want DS games on the 3DS eshop, because many of them are now rare and very pricy at retail.

How will they look on a HD tv? Or will we have to play using the gamepad vertically?
