@MyHeadHurts would absolutely love to see the original ported over. Was one of the best gaming experiences ever. This one might be that too. I haven't given up yet. lol

One thing about the original Fantasy Life is that how it played offline is exactly how it played online. You could run every side quest, story quests with visitors in your game. They seem to have gutted all that. Along with adventuring from city to city in coop. All that seems to be gone. Is this game absolutely rotten? Well no its not but the experience has been slimmed down. The game is still oozing charm. So it does have the charm

I'm going to give this more of a go. But I gotta say this version does not even come close to its 3ds predecessor. I need to dig in a bit more. But I'm close to shelving it. Now I'm wishing they just port the original. Sad, I think this game will be forgotten within 2 months. You can feel it. No clue how the single player is rated even with the original game evenly. Very disappointed so far. Apparently also the full game coop experience online has been removed. Yikes. How was this delayed when this was streamlined with shortcuts and fast tracks.

It might be the City to City adventuring the 3ds had that's missing.

I guess I'm getting old.....before you ask yourself Really? Yep I am old lol. Here's my point. Finding it really hard to be interested in anything these days. The shop has an ocean of trash to sort through. Then there is the phone game model popping up everywhere. Just frustrated where we have landed in gaming. Won't be much longer till there are no physical games. Might be time for this grumpy old man to move on. Not all the games bad there for the downloads. I'm just venting pay no attention lol

@AstroTheGamosian same here there is so much. I had a great time on DS and 3DS. Would be nice to see alot of those games get a new life. Excellent list you made there

HD remake of Phantasy Star zero. Ground up with add-ons would be awesome

Wish they might go back to a little quality control. Lots of good games in the eshop but alot more bad ones. Then how about some backwards compatable from the get go would be nice. Don't get me started on the Dragon Quest X is coming to Switch at release. Really wanted to play that. Keeping phantasy Star online 2 in Japan on switch. Now I'm ranting pso2 sucks anyway played on ps4. Enough of that!

Xenoblade for me. Love the series has a ton of wow factor and fun storyline. Excellent ride

@Pally356 yeah I know it will not happen. I do prefer it over PSO2. PSO2 does run on switch its out on Switch in Japan. They haven't brought it to north America and probably won't now. I do play on PS4 but I can't get into it. I have about 40 hours into it it just doesn't have a good feel. I even prefer Phantasy Star Zero from DS

@Mattock1987 yeah I thought the same thing. It was slow and super easy. It is basically a point and click adventure type game which are typically slow.

Well.... The demo was super easy. I played the original DS game years ago and thought the game was harder. Maybe I'm remembering things that made it easy. Love the new artwork though. I did pre order at Amazon and have never played the sequel so I'm looking forward to that. The game looks good on switch

Phantasy Star online or PSO2 in North America on switch would be nice. A new phantasy star or proper Shining force would be cool. HD phantasy Star Blue Burst on switch would be sweet

Might buy on sale. Loved Rogue Heroes. Wish we would see a sequel to that. It was like Gauntlet, Dungeon Explorer, Zelda and a bit of Runefactory. Excellent fun

Been waiting for a live action Robotech for years...... can't wait to see Live Zelda just hope they don't goofy it up like the past Dungeons and Dragons live actions. Hopefully it will be good.

Couldn't resist Shining Refrain at 6 bucks in the Eshop. Found out its a fairly interesting game with a fun Tales type battle system. Graphics are so so but it's fun so far.

@ZZalapski would love to see a decent hockey game. I say slap online play on NHL old-school and at least start it in the right direction. I miss the days of the Xband which NHL and Madden both worked on sega genesis. Yup I'm old lol. Yup we need a good hockey game but that ship is sailing now. Maybe Switch 2

At this point Madden 95 and NHL 94/95 would be welcome sights for football and hockey fans. Weak is all I can say

Here I thought in my old age (and that's old) I had probably bought my last system. But, I want it!

I would like to see what the arrangement is with the Unreal engine in comparison. I'm not sticking up for unity I thought it might be kind of dead at this point. Does anyone know if Unreal Engine operates in the same manner? There have been some fun games on Unity way back when but it seems to me outdated now.

Waiting for Fantasy Life. Supposed to see a late 2023 release but no news on it. Hopefully soon

Loved them on TG16 and PCE. But no English no purchase for me. Played them in Japanese years ago did have fun but not willing to do that anymore. I doubt we get a North American release.

Just wondering haven't played in a while. Does the game still crash and knock you offline 3 times in 2 hours? I did like what I played but the disconnections were very annoying

Totally still in the game and competing. Zelda will be game of the year most likely. Sure the techs are higher. But, if I had one gripe about switch the online offerings are much lower than other systems but we all know that already. Plus it's a matter of taste. If people love say Splatoon or other Switch offerings whose to say other systems are better? For myself I wish there was some stuff on Switch with more online capabilities. Not that Switch has nothing. They do. I do enjoy the Monster Hunters. But wish they had a FF14 type of game, or that north America might have got Dragon Quest X. Something along those line. Competitor Nintendo is in the game for sure

I really liked TemTem but those game crashes really put it on the backburner. I would like to get Cassette Beasts but sound like the same issues. Will wait till it's fixed

@old-dad we had many bomberman battles at our house. It used to be a monthly thing of BBQ and Bomberman. We also liked Dungeon Explorer 1 and 2 for couch play

I'm still more a fan of the Tg16, SNES and Sega Saturn versions. Wish they would go back to retro and make them online. Of course more fun with big groups from the couch.

@Low payment options have been turned off a while. You need to add money to switch account and have your 3ds linked to it to buy. Then you jump back in and should have credit to buy on 3ds

Super sad. 3ds was my main system for the last 10 years. I actually had already purchased everything I wanted from eshop I think about 275 games are currently on my system. Then I have about 70carts. What a fun run!

I wouldn't mind a port of Phantasy Star online episode 1 and 2 with some addons
