My girlfriend is obsessed with this game. She said she even likes it more than Animal Crossing, and she currently has over 900 hours in New Horizons so who knows how much she'll end up putting into Dreamlight.
The angriest I've ever been playing a game is online on For Honor. I'm genuinely embarrassed at how angry I allowed myself to get. I've swore I'll never get that angry at a game again. If I feel myself getting angry I just turn the game off. It's not worth getting wound up over.
I've never thrown or smashed a pad though. That is some next level cringe.
I think we'll see it before the end of 2023, and will be announced after Tears of the Kingdom is released. Then they'll probably announce Tears of the Kingdom as a port on the new console.
Really wish they would give Galaxy 2 a Switch port. I only played Galaxy 1 for the first time when the HD collection came out on Switch and it's now my favourite Mario Game and the only one so far I've 100%'ed
The fact that they decided to write Metroid Prime Hunters across the front of the box and then just obscure them completely with Samus, only to then write them again, is a horrible design choice on the Japanese box
I would always prefer a physical copy if possible. But also if there's a sale on the Nintendo/Playstation store and I can get it digitally for far cheaper, then I'm not going to pay a lot more just to have the box. I think the main draw for me to physical is that you know you'll always be able to play it. In 20 years from now will I still have access to all the digital games that I do now, even if I still own the console? I doubt it.
Literally had Noibat as my buddy for 5 months+ and I still have 90 candy to go. And now they start appearing in the wild. absolutely typical. I can guarantee that as soon as I evolve Noibat they'll announce a Noibat community day
I'm glad we're getting more content in the Bayonetta world. I recently completed the first game fir the first time and I can't believe it took me so long to play such a masterpeice. I want to give it a second playthrough before I move on to 2 & 3.
@RiasGremory Not really. If anything I've definitely won more matches through benefitting from lightning than I've lost, it's just annoying alltogether
Never played Dragon Quest game but I am looking to get into them.
Sounds stupid to say now but the fact that Dragon Quest sounds like such a generic RPG name has always put me off. Sounds like one of those early 2000's puzzle games on mobile.
Don't really get the point of this. The vast majority of people who own a Switch will own at least one other console which they can already play Call of Duty on. They really don't need to be bringing watered down COD ports, or god forbid, cloud versions to Nintendo.
I once saw some art of an Australia inspired region with a Platypus water starter and a Steve Irwin inspired professor and ever since I've wanted an Australian region. Paldea is my favourite region so far next to Hoenn but I'd still love to see an Australian one.
While it's good that people on other platforms will be able to enjoy the game, Nintendo's main selling point is that you can't find their exclusives anywhere else. You know Zelda, Mario, Pokemon etc is only ever going to be on Nintendo and you have to buy one of their consoles if you want to play them. I know Monster Hunter is a third party IP but still.
This is genuinely my favorite Pokemon game ever. The technical issues have in now way hampered my enjoyment when it gets so much right. My only complaint is: no Trubbish.
This looks beautiful. Definitely a buy. The art style alone is enough of a selling point for me. Reminds me of a Tim Burton film. I hope the Switch is able to do the art style justice. If that trailer is true to how it'll look on the Switch then I'll have nopthing to worry about.
I honestly haven't been this excited for a new Pokemon Gen since Gold & Silver came out. I really can't wait. I'm going on holiday early release day and honestly part of me is dissapointed to be going on holiday because I'll have to wait a week to play Scarlet & Violet.
I've got this on Playstation and honestly the amount of content is stupid. Easily 100+ hours, probably closer to 200+ if you really wanted to get everything.
For people expecting it to be like the classic Lego Star Wars games you might be a bit disappointed though. Most of the levels are a lot shorter and you'd be surprised what gets relegated to cutscenes and what they decided to make levels out of. The main attraction is the individual sandbox planets and everything to find and explore on them. That said, still an essential purchase for a Star Wars fan.
Apart from the fact Henry is established as Geralt now and he nails it, let's not forget the most important thing - he genuinely loves The Witcher and was a big fan of the games and books before he even got the role. That enthusiasm for the world of the Witcher translates into his performance.
