When this says "new games" is it referring to full price, retail games at $60+? Or games that are new to you when you buy them?
Depending on the year, I probably buy 2-4 new games at full price each year, but I also buy games that didn't just come out when they're on sale, as well as a bunch of indie games on the eshop.
I understand that developers can't keep servers up forever. It's not feasible, and I think most gamers understand that, too. But this is a $70 game with online service for less than a year. That's ridiculous, and it should be illegal. If they want to have such short expiration dates, they should be required to put them on the front of the box. Otherwise, there should be a legally required minimum service length. 2K should definitely get sued for this.
I was hoping for $60, but $70 isn't too surprising. And honestly, $35-40 for an HD remake isn't bad at all. Even when Nintendo was releasing games as "Selects" they were $20-30, and this is a remastered version, not just a re-release. I'll be getting it at launch. The music alone got me pretty hyped.
While I understand where they're coming from, it's unreasonable to complain about a developer's pricing being too low because it offers better value than your own game. The market is competitive, and while I don't think Team Cherry priced Silksong like this to be competitive with other developers, a game offering better quality/value for the players' dollars is going to do better with players. The burden is on other developers to improve their games, not on Team Cherry to raise prices.
All that said, Silksong could have been $50 and still taken a big bite out of these other developers' pies. It's the sequel to one if the biggest indie hits ever. But it's one game. Players will still buy other games...after they finish Silksong.
This just means what could have been a day 1 purchase at full price is now a future sale at a discount on the eshop (if ever), just like the bravely default remake. No point in getting a cart with no data on it, and I won't support this kind of anti-consumer policy. It'll be on sale for $20 within a couple years.
I loved this game when it first came out. I actually just downloaded it again a couple months ago, and EA has (unsurprisingly) ruined it with microtransactions and ads. If this is the full game, polished up and without microtransactions, and reasonably priced, I'll definitely pick it up.
Do we know if the switch 2 release will be a key card or not? If it is, I'll happily buy the switch version to have the whole game on the cart, and then get the upgrade for switch 2. I loved the 1st game on the 3ds. I think I 100%'ed it, minus the dlc.
I'm interested in bravely default and rune factory, but I'm not sure I want either at launch. With bravely default being a key card, I'll likely wait until an eshop sale, and I have a couple rune factory games I've yet to play in my switch collection. Right now the only game I'm definitely getting at launch is Mario kart. That and upgraded botw (plus xenoblade chronicles x that I've barely scratched the surface on) will be plenty.
Doesn't this defeat the entire purpose of limited run games? I thought the company existed to give games that weren't getting hard copies a chance at having a physical version, both for collectors and people who prefer to really own their copy of the game. This is just a really expensive set of collectibles and a digital copy of the game. First that NES fiasco a little while ago, and now this? What are they thinking over there?
I had best buy open and ready, and tried to get one there for about 20 minutes starting at exactly 12:00am. No luck at all. The button never changed from unavailable for me on either version of the system. I went to target thinking I missed my chance, and by pure luck was able to add the MK bundle to my cart. I had to sit there pressing "place order" or "refresh" over and over for about 15 minutes straight, but I got it. The order hasn't been canceled, so I should be in the clear. As a nice bonus, I saved 5% with my Red card.
I mean, these aren't actually re-releases, so that's not so surprising. These are just upgrades for the game you already have. It's not like they're releasing BOTW ultimate edition.
Honestly, they could have gone that route, and charged $50-60 each instead of the $10 upgrades. They probably would have gotten less backlash, even though the price would have been much higher.
There has never been a console launch when everyone could afford a new system immediately. Some people still can't afford a switch. That's not dismissive, it's just reality. Gaming is not a cheap hobby. The Switch 2 is not particularly expensive in a market that has Playstations going for $700 and gaming pcs going for $1000+. People regularly pay 2-3x the switch 2's price for their phone.
The only reasonable gripe here is the extra $10 tacked onto Mario kart, and there's a direct coming soon that might explain it.
But...isn't Mario white (European)? That's why there was a "controversy" when he could wear a Sombrero in Odyssey, right?
I'm sure it's already been said here, but I also want to point out that you can't be "colorblind" while also complaining about the races of actors. If you're really colorblind, you don't care whether they're white or not.
I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but games are always $10 cheaper at Walmart once they're out, at least in store if not online. I bought Skyward Sword the day after release for $50. I've gotten a couple other games like that, too.
@SwitchForce That mindset severely limits the hiring pool. It would no longer be about finding the best person, but instead be about someone willing to run the company for cheap out of the goodness of their heart. Even if they found such a person, it would likely still be better for the company to pay a better candidate more and benefit from better leadership.
Salvation Army is a Christian group, so accusing them of discrimination may or may not be legitimate. Adhering to Christian values is not necessarily discrimination. Of course, if they are specifically denying employment or service to LGBT people, that would be a problem and they would likely be in court already.
@malcire There are actually a lot of charities that take donations, even when they don't run thrift stores. My favorite thrift store chain doesn't really take donations themselves, as far as I know, and they're actually a for-profit company. They stock shelves by buying bulk from charities who take donations, like Purple Heart. Smaller, local thrift stores will usually take donations, too, and all or most of their proceeds go to their cause (no giant corporation behind them). Try looking up thrift stores connected to the humane society, or children's hospitals. I have several of those in my area.
I used to frequent Goodwill stores, but because of practices like this, they don't usually have anything of interest anymore. They pull the best stuff for sale online and leave the undesirable items for their stores. That's fine for them, but they've lost me as a customer.
A lot of people on here are for or against Goodwill as a company. I think the best position is more in the middle. They may be a non-profit, but they're still in the business of making money, even if it's for their causes. Whether their pay is good or not (my understanding is that it's usually okay), they do give jobs to people who struggle to find work, and it's easier to get a better job once you have one. That's basically their mission statement. They hire and train people when no one else will, so they can move forward to better things. As for their executives making high salaries, you do have to pay for quality. I couldn't tell you how good the guy is, but I can tell you that offering 100k or less isn't going to bring in great candidates for such a huge company. You get what you pay for.
@mantez Even in those cases, capitalism was very beneficial. Private businesses may not have invented every single thing, but they advanced almost all of it. The military (funded by taxes taken from a capitalist market), may create technology, but it's businesses that take that technology and make it into something people want and can use. They made the touchscreen, capitalism made the smartphone. There's a reason almost all innovation in practically every category comes from capitalist countries.
And since we're on a video game website, it's worth singling games out as one category that has enormously benefitted from competition, forcing the technology to advance very quickly.
@blecch Actually, a lot of websites started banning reselling of essential items when they were hard to find. Even they realized it was a step too far. Reselling luxury items that nobody needs at higher prices is annoying, but doesn't actually hurt anyone.
So many people complaining about capitalism here... Yes, supply and demand can cause prices to go up, but remember that it's because of capitalism that we have the stuff for you to complain about wanting in the first place. The tech industry in particular is only where it is today because of capitalist competition.
Scalpers are annoying when you can't get what you want in stores at retail price, but there isn't any guarantee you'd find it even without scalpers, and then there'd be none online either. The problem lies mostly with there being too many scalpers, or scalpers selling necessities. Personally, I think most of the responsibility lies with the stores themselves, who allow someone to walk in and buy them out. Reasonable item limits would fix the over-scalping problem and would be easy to implement.
So no more eshop preorders in Norway, then? Doesn't that fix things? I doubt Nintendo would lose much by doing that, and they wouldn't have to deal with going to court. I do think refunds make sense, but I also see no point whatsoever in preordering an eshop game more than a day in advance. The only value is having the game downloaded a bit sooner.
I mostly came for the comment section. All the information in the article was pretty much summed up in just the title, so there was little point in reading it. People were offended, they complained, and Nintendo removed the "controversial" content.
As many have said already, I don't really care. It was fairly inconsequential content. I don't consider it offensive, and I doubt many do, but I also doubt many, if any, will miss it. My greatest worry here is that this could be the beginning of a dangerous trend for Nintendo. If they feel the need to cater to an undoubtedly tiny group over something so inconsequential, what does that mean for more substantial content that people take issue with? Or will they just take these people into consideration before creating new works, allowing their poisonous influence into Nintendo's creative process?
Or maybe it doesn't mean that. Hopefully not.
And to all the people who used the word "genocide" here: Please stop. The vast, vast majority of Native Americans (some estimates say 90%) died from disease. Much of the native population died before even coming into contact with settlers, because it spread through the natives themselves. This was not genocide. This was a series of epidemics.
@Yorumi I do. But that applies to USB cables and ports. Similar to but less than electrical outlets, their functionality lies in their universal nature. That does not apply to specific functionality of devices plugged into them (not all USB cables support the same charging, or give enough power for some devices, for example). There is no guarantee that plugging a usb device into any given usb plug will make it work. In the Switch's case, the system can be charged through USB c (and it sounds like that's still, at least mostly, the case), but cannot be docked through USB c. Docking requires their own hardware. Docking with the wrong hardware puts the system at risk, just as trying to run anything with the wrong hardware would.
@Yorumi But it isn't drawing too much power and frying the system... unless you use incompatible, unofficial accessories. The port on the Switch is not designed to work with such devices, and while inconvenient (I'd like to buy safe, cheap, and portable 3rd party Switch docks), that's fine. It only has to work with what Nintendo says it will work with. How can they be responsible when they advise against using the harmful docks that they didn't even make?
The comparison you made to electrical outlets doesn't really work. It's kind of a reversal of the Switch situation. Universal functionality is not part of the Switch's design, nor is it inherently necessary. All that matters is that it does what it's supposed to when hooked up to the right parts. It can work with one thing and be fine. Electrical outlets' usefulness, on the other hand, lies with their universal functionality. As that decreases, so too does their usefulness. The Switch's functionality is largely unaffected by incompatibility with 3rd party docks.
@Yorumi Only if you use docks they recommend against using. I've never heard about a Switch getting bricked from anything else. If you have, please let me know, because I'd like to know what not to use. Going by the gasoline example someone used in a previous post, using these unofficial docks would be like using a gas alternative recommended against by the manufacturer. Regardless, it's up to the 3rd parties to make sure their devices are compatible, not Nintendo. And as some people on here have said, I'm not sure Nintendo ever said the Switch followed these industry standards in the first place.
That's true to a point, but again, it's not Nintendo's job to make sure their system is well defended against 3rd party accessories that could harm it. If you use the Switch as they recommend, you won't have these problems. If I buy a sketchy computer part and it fries my pc, whose fault is it? The company that made my computer and/or its working parts, or the company/seller that sold me the sketchy part? Or maybe my fault for using it, despite knowing it isn't official or recommended?
It seems to me that a lot of people here are talking about chargers and cords, and not just docks. Has there ever been a confirmed case of a usb c charger bricking a Switch? Haven't people been using power banks since the Switch launched without issue? I bought a usb c power bank specifically for the Switch, but haven't used it. Should I not?
If chargers aren't the problem, and only 3rd party docks are breaking Switches, docks Nintendo has always advised against using, how can the blame lie with Nintendo? These companies are making unofficial docks to capitalise on the Switch's success (which is fine; supply and demand). It is in no way Nintendo's responsibility to make it easy for them to do that, or to guarantee the safety of systems attached to such accessories. These 3rd party companies are the ones making docks and claiming they are safe, cheap alternatives to Nintendo's dock, when they aren't. If I order a 3rd party accessory for anything, phone, tablet, etc, it is up to that 3rd party to make sure it does what they say it does, and no one else.
PS- I actually did buy the Nyko dock when it came out, but returned it without ever using it after hearing about the risk.
For me, the Switch has been part of two awesome experiences. First, Zelda. And second, easily taking the Switch with me when I was meeting my sister and her kids, and playing Overcooked and Mario Kart 8 all weekend. Going forward, I expect only more great times with the system. Inspired by NintendoLife, I'm working on building a cheap home theater for my Switch, and I'll be bringing the Switch with me on another family trip in a couple months for some more co-op cooking action (this time with a couple more Joy-con). I'm really looking forward to a lot of the games coming in the next few months, too.
I'm definitely not a Minecraft guy, but I did think the first Dragon Quest Builder game looked pretty fun, so I'll keep an eye on this. Regardless, it's good to see the Switch get more games.
As awesome as it is that Metroid Prime 4 exists, I thought Nintendo's E3 overall was somewhat disappointing. The two biggest reveals, MP4 and Pokemon Switch, are so early in development that they couldn't, or just didn't, show anything. We may not get those games until 2019, and we certainly won't get them for over a year. Mario looks awesome, but we already knew that. Xenoblade looks awesome, but we already knew that (it's great that it's coming so soon though). The other announcements were kind of "B" reveals, not big hits. I'm sure they'll be great, and I'll definitely be getting a few of them (Rocket League and Kirby, and maybe the Rabbids game), but I wish there were more of them, especially indies, as well as at least 1 big reveal that we actually got to see. I was also hoping for some news about the Virtual Console, and a new Animal Crossing.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed so far. I'm not really a Metroid guy, though I am excited about Metroid Prime 4, and there wasn't much else. Rocket League looks cool, and I'm sure Kirby will be good, but MP4 was the only blockbuster surprise at the show. Aside from that, it was mostly new footage of stuff we already knew about. Very little from 3rd parties, and very little attention for indies. Nothing about the Virtual Console, nothing about the online service or MyNintendo, almost nothing for the eshop. And where's my Animal Crossing?
All that said, this will certainly be a good year for the Switch, with Mario, Arms, Splatoon, Xenoblade, Rocket League, various indies, and maybe that Rabbids game, ensuring there will be plenty to play.
I've never been a Street Fighter guy (I played Tekken on the PS1, and that's about it for fighters, aside from SSB), but I might pick this up, albeit at a future lower price. Just like Bomberman, I think this should have been a $20-ish game, and that's what I'd be willing to pay, at most. It would make for a great download from some Capcom eshop sale down the line.
I've been interested in this game since I saw the guys at GiantBomb play it. I was thinking about getting it from the current Humble Bundle for PC, but I'll definitely wait for the Switch version.
For Wii U remakes, I want, and expect, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros, complete with all DLC. I never bought Hyrule Warriors precisely because I wanted the extensive DLC and expected it to be bundled in a later edition. I did buy Smash Bros, but I'd be willing to double dip for all of that DLC, which I never touched.
@KillerTan98 Thanks for the answer. I won't be getting this on Switch if I already have it coming free on the Wii U. Maybe later on I'll get Shovel Knight Treasure Trove on sale.
I'm loving the game on my Switch. It may be all there is right now, and I might have been able to play it on my Wii U, but I also want to play games like Arms and Splatoon 2 (and various indies) when they come out. Basically, it comes down to spending the money on the system now or in a few months. Either way, there will be no price drop before Switch exclusives start rolling in, so I figured I'd buy it now, play the best version of Zelda, and have it for other games in a month or two. The only way to end up with savings is to wait until Q4 this year, when there will probably be a bundle with one free game. I didn't want to wait that long.
Does this, like Plague of Shadows, come free with Shovel Knight on other platforms, or is it completely separate? If I'm already getting it free with my Wii U copy of Shovel Knight, I don't want to buy it, but if I have to buy it either way, it might be my second Switch game.
I'm loving my Switch, but all I have is Zelda (which is awesome, but still just one game). I would get Bomberman and/or I Am Setsuna, but both seem overpriced to me, and I don't want to spend twice what I'd normally be willing to pay just because there's nothing else. I did make a Japanese account to access their eshop, so I at least have the Dragon Quest Heroes demo to try later, when I'm not completely sucked into Zelda.
As far as the system itself goes, I'm very impressed. It's quicker than I expected, and very streamlined. I'm also really enjoying using the Joy Cons without the grip. Just kicking back, arms relaxed at my sides, exploring Hyrule. I haven't even tried my Pro controller yet.
This is why I pre-ordered mine for in-store pick-up. I wanted to decide when I got it (soon after I got off work yesterday), and not leave that up to the shipping service and/or retailer. I did the same with my copy of Zelda and my Pro controller. Apparently quite a few people did that, based on the large number of Switch systems waiting to be picked up when I picked mine up.
I'm hoping this comes out in the next few months. If it comes out too late, I'll be too busy playing Mario Odyssey to think about other 3D platformers. I'll definitely be getting this game though.
I was expecting at least 1 Nintendo Direct this month, and I still think there will be one, mainly for the eshop. We've seen the launch games, and a bunch of future titles, but we haven't seen anything of the eshop. We also don't know if Snipperclips, exclusively available on the eshop, is coming out at launch or a couple weeks later. What better time is there to announce that the highly anticipated eshop game is a launch title than at an eshop Direct right before launch? I'm hoping for some early bird sales too, like the $0.30 games the Wii U had in its first few months. And, realistic or not, I'll continue to hope for Gamecube VC support.
I think Nintendo just isn't worried about getting tons of pre-launch marketing done. Because they're releasing in March, and not in the highly competitive Q4, they have 8 months to get the word out (and build the system and its library up) before peak sales season. Besides, they're selling out of launch systems as it is. They could do nothing for the next 2 weeks and you still wouldn't be able to find a Switch in 3 weeks. At this point I consider another Direct more a courtesy to us early adopters than a sales pitch. I want to see what I bought!
I bought the Pro controller when it finally became available at Best Buy, but that and a memory card are all I plan on getting. I'd love to get a second base so I could use it on multiple TV's, but not for what they're currently charging.
I think Nintendo should work on getting typical streaming apps like youtube and Netflix on the system quickly. They aren't dealbreakers (everyone has something to stream from already anyway, and this is a game system first and foremost), but they are pretty standard for any internet connected device at this point.
That said, I think such apps, as well as other apps more typical for tablets, are especially important for the Switch. Even though the Switch is a game system, it's also a tablet. Nobody wants to bring 2 (fairly) large tablets with them on a long trip so they can read their Kindle books, stream media, and play games. If people are going to choose just one, Nintendo wants it to be the Switch, and more functionality will help that choice.
I'm getting Breath of the Wild: Special Edition, which comes with a carrying case, and I plan on getting I Am Setsuna. I want to get a Pro controller too. I would be interested in Bomberman if it was $20. I'm holding out hope that there will be more on the eshop on day 1 than we currently know about, including Gamecube games like Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion, which I'd definitely buy.
The show left me much more excited about the system itself, but very disappointed about the launch. I was hoping to get 3-4 games at launch. Right now there's just Zelda for me. I was hoping for info about the eshop, too, including new VC platforms (mainly the Gamecube) and carried over VC purchases on day 1, and some Nindies. Zelda and a few good indie games could tide me over for the launch. Alas, we heard nothing about Stardew Valley, Yooka Laylee, or any of the other indies that are supposedly on the way.
Regardless, I've already pre-ordered the system and Zelda special edition (the Master edition was sold out by the time I heard about it). I just hope there's more than that for me on launch day.
Of course this happens right after I buy Lego City and Minecraft on the Wii U... I might get that DBZ game though. I haven't played one since Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii.
Just to let you guys know, pre-orders are going up and apparently selling out in the US. I just put mine in at Best Buy (the page is up, though without a description), but Walmart already sold out.

Re: Teenager Hits $1.7 Million In Revenue During Pandemic Reselling Pokémon Cards, Game Consoles And More
@mantez
Even in those cases, capitalism was very beneficial.
Re: Teenager Hits $1.7 Million In Revenue During Pandemic Reselling Pokémon Cards, Game Consoles And More
@blecch
Actually, a lot of websites started banning reselling of essential items when they were hard to find. Even they realized it was a step too far. Reselling luxury items that nobody needs at higher prices is annoying, but doesn't actually hurt anyone.
Re: Teenager Hits $1.7 Million In Revenue During Pandemic Reselling Pokémon Cards, Game Consoles And More
So many people complaining about capitalism here...
Re: Review: YIIK: A Postmodern RPG - EarthBound For A New Generation
I'm not sure if I want the game or not, but this has been a fairly entertaining comment section.
Re: Nintendo Will Be Taken To Court Over Its "Illegal" eShop Pre-Ordering System
Re: Nintendo Will Remove Smash Bros. Ultimate's Offensive Depiction Of Native Americans
Re: Could Switch's Non-Compliant USB-C Spec Be To Blame For Third-Party Docks Bricking Consoles?
@Yorumi
I do.
Re: Could Switch's Non-Compliant USB-C Spec Be To Blame For Third-Party Docks Bricking Consoles?
@Yorumi
But it isn't drawing too much power and frying the system... unless you use incompatible, unofficial accessories.
Re: Could Switch's Non-Compliant USB-C Spec Be To Blame For Third-Party Docks Bricking Consoles?
@Yorumi
Only if you use docks they recommend against using.
Re: Could Switch's Non-Compliant USB-C Spec Be To Blame For Third-Party Docks Bricking Consoles?
Re: Poll: Six Months of the Switch - What Do You Think of Nintendo's Console Hybrid?
For me, the Switch has been part of two awesome experiences. First, Zelda. And second, easily taking the Switch with me when I was meeting my sister and her kids, and playing Overcooked and Mario Kart 8 all weekend. Going forward, I expect only more great times with the system. Inspired by NintendoLife, I'm working on building a cheap home theater for my Switch, and I'll be bringing the Switch with me on another family trip in a couple months for some more co-op cooking action (this time with a couple more Joy-con). I'm really looking forward to a lot of the games coming in the next few months, too.
Re: Dragon Quest Builders 2 Confirmed for Nintendo Switch
I'm definitely not a Minecraft guy, but I did think the first Dragon Quest Builder game looked pretty fun, so I'll keep an eye on this. Regardless, it's good to see the Switch get more games.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo at E3 2017?
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's Big Switch and 3DS Reveals at E3 on Day One?
Re: Review: Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers (Switch)
I've never been a Street Fighter guy (I played Tekken on the PS1, and that's about it for fighters, aside from SSB), but I might pick this up, albeit at a future lower price. Just like Bomberman, I think this should have been a $20-ish game, and that's what I'd be willing to pay, at most. It would make for a great download from some Capcom eshop sale down the line.
Re: Pikmin Rewards Arrive on My Nintendo in North America
I think I'm missing at least one of those Pikmin DLC packs, so I'll get that. I was really hoping for the Pikmin short movies, though.
Re: Owlboy Is Coming to the Switch
I've been interested in this game since I saw the guys at GiantBomb play it. I was thinking about getting it from the current Humble Bundle for PC, but I'll definitely wait for the Switch version.
Re: Poll: What Wii U Ports Would You Like to Play on Nintendo Switch?
For Wii U remakes, I want, and expect, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros, complete with all DLC. I never bought Hyrule Warriors precisely because I wanted the extensive DLC and expected it to be bundled in a later edition. I did buy Smash Bros, but I'd be willing to double dip for all of that DLC, which I never touched.
Re: Review: Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (Switch eShop)
@KillerTan98
Thanks for the answer. I won't be getting this on Switch if I already have it coming free on the Wii U. Maybe later on I'll get Shovel Knight Treasure Trove on sale.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Tackles Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch vs. Wii U
Re: Review: Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (Switch eShop)
Does this, like Plague of Shadows, come free with Shovel Knight on other platforms, or is it completely separate? If I'm already getting it free with my Wii U copy of Shovel Knight, I don't want to buy it, but if I have to buy it either way, it might be my second Switch game.
Re: Poll: Merry Switchmas - Has the Nintendo Switch Launch Got You In a Festive Spirit?
Re: Delivery Issues Spoil Nintendo Switch Launch Day for Unlucky UK Buyers
This is why I pre-ordered mine for in-store pick-up. I wanted to decide when I got it (soon after I got off work yesterday), and not leave that up to the shipping service and/or retailer. I did the same with my copy of Zelda and my Pro controller. Apparently quite a few people did that, based on the large number of Switch systems waiting to be picked up when I picked mine up.
Re: Hands On: Striking a Chord with Yooka-Laylee
I'm hoping this comes out in the next few months. If it comes out too late, I'll be too busy playing Mario Odyssey to think about other 3D platformers. I'll definitely be getting this game though.
Re: Feature: Zoink Tells Us About the Big Switch with Flipping Death
I really enjoyed Stick it to the Man, with it's crazy, kinda twisted humor and unique style. This game will probably be a day one buy for me.
Re: Switch Indie Title WarGroove Mixes Advance Wars And Fire Emblem
I loved Advance Wars (wish Nintendo would make a new one), and I love Fire Emblem, so I'm definitely interested in getting this.
Re: Talking Point: Lack of Nintendo Switch Details Close to Launch Made Wobbly Cam 'Leaks' Inevitable
Re: Guide: Essential Nintendo Switch Accessories
I bought the Pro controller when it finally became available at Best Buy, but that and a memory card are all I plan on getting. I'd love to get a second base so I could use it on multiple TV's, but not for what they're currently charging.
Re: Poll: Does Nintendo Switch Need Streaming Apps and a Web Browser, Or Is It All About Games?
Re: Poll: What Are Your Nintendo Switch Pre-Order and Launch Day Plans?
I'm getting Breath of the Wild: Special Edition, which comes with a carrying case, and I plan on getting I Am Setsuna. I want to get a Pro controller too. I would be interested in Bomberman if it was $20. I'm holding out hope that there will be more on the eshop on day 1 than we currently know about, including Gamecube games like Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and Luigi's Mansion, which I'd definitely buy.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of the Nintendo Switch Presentation?
Re: Minecraft, Sonic, Street Fighter And Bomberman Are All Coming To Switch
Of course this happens right after I buy Lego City and Minecraft on the Wii U... I might get that DBZ game though. I haven't played one since Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii.
Just to let you guys know, pre-orders are going up and apparently selling out in the US. I just put mine in at Best Buy (the page is up, though without a description), but Walmart already sold out.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Launches On Switch In April, Features Splatoon Inklings
I just saw this on Nintendo's youtube channel. I can't believe they left this out of the presentation. Did they forget or something?
