I’m all for a new Onimusha game, but could they at least remaster the remainder of the series after the first one for Switch at least? How hard is that Capcom?

While it’s great and all that Capcom is developing a new Onimusha game, I still cannot fathom why they won’t do a remaster of the remaining titles they have yet to put on Switch.

I said it last time so I’ll say it once more. I really think it should be called the “Nintendo Snap,” because of the rumored magnetic rails. 😄👍

Uhh…..yeah, I’m not sure what warranted the devs to want to release this. It’s not a game that has aged well at all. I’ll probably wait until it’s at least close to 80 or even 90 percent off. Anyways, I’m super stoked to play my digital pre-order of the Legacy of Kain collection tomorrow. 👍

The only remasters I care about them EVER getting around to doing is the rest of the Onimusha games for Switch. We’re still waiting Capcom……what’s the hold up?

This is a chance for Microsoft to drop the announcement of the Gears of War trilogy. One can only dream. 😄👍

The trailer pretty much shows how barebones the game looks. Barely enough variety from what I can see.

It’s too bad there isn’t like a horde mode like the Gears of Wars series has. I’m terrible at playing against other people, that’s why I refuse to play titles like this.

Is there a reason Falcom still haven’t gotten around to releasing the first two Cold Steel games? Are we ever going to get them on Switch?

If Square is intent on mentioning more information of the game in next month’s Nintendo Direct, then the least they can do is give us a collection of 4-6 like they did with the first three.

The setting almost sounds like the first Quake, which could be interesting.

Just give us the original Modern Warfare trilogy and the first Black Ops and I’m good.

Square owes it their audience on the current Switch to re-do the travesty that is the collection of KH games.

Come on Bethesda, just give us several of the earlier Fallout games on Switch already.

I honestly don’t think they should be asking these kind of questions as this game is geared towards younger kids, but whatever.

@Limberlost That’s funny, I was literally going to say the same thing. I mentioned how ugly it looked when I first got it after release.

They must have forgotten that most would rather play a port of Dark Souls 2 & 3 than this. Oh well, missed opportunity on their end. 🤷‍♂️😄

Instead of talking smack like they always do, they should just remaster several of their older Need for Speed titles for Switch. Any would do, just surprise us. 😄

While we’re at it THQ, how’s about bringing Gothic 3 at some point? Oh, and Risen 2 & 3 would be nice too.

I’m new to the series….would they be complicated to get into for a newbie like myself?

My only real gripe is that they need to seriously update the cover art for it on the home screen. It’s nothing but a greenish-yellow background with the title plastered on it.

Sure would be nice if Jonathan Blow would consider releasing The Witness on Switch at some point. Seems like ages since he’s had time to think about it.

@Daimando Of course, I’m still waiting on a remastered port of the original Diablo, if and when that ever happens.

@Daimando I’d be down with ports of the original Warcraft and Warcraft 2 with all expansions. Was thinking about it the other day.

With the animation and art style it looks more like a hidden object game featuring frogs than anything else. Still looks nice though.

I’m definitely very interested, but I’m going to give it a wait on a future sale. That new game OTXO looks like my kind of jam. So I will be checking that out.

Here’s hoping Square will consider releasing the later ones remastered or otherwise.

I’m holding out on the hope that Nightdive Studios will give us Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II at some point this year. Glad to have the first one on Switch, it’s been years since I first played it on PC.

Can we not also get the first Space Marine? I briefly played it on Xbox 360 years ago, but never finished it.

Played and finished the first one on PS1 years ago, however I only briefly played the second and third games on those PlayStation Underground magazine demo discs. Fun times. 👍

I literally just finished Trace Memory for the first time on my New Nintendo 2DS XL this evening. Definitely looking forward to getting the new collection soon at some point.

Obviously most of these would be great for the service, but how about Mortal Kombat 4? I know it would most likely never happen, but it’s worth a try.

When I first saw the cover art for this game on the eShop a while back I thought, “Oh God, not another one of them scammer games.” LOL

I’ve always wanted the F.E.A.R. trilogy to come to Switch. Wonder what it would take for that to happen. Probably never. LOL

I agree with the review assessment. I’ve even seen some gameplay footage and it definitely doesn’t come across as very MMO-centric.

Yeah, apparently that’s all EA cares about when releasing games on Switch. They will do EA Originals on the platform, but not some of their own actual IP, like the Mass Effect Legendary Collection or even some of the Dragon Age games. I’m so tired of this company and their excuses.

Does anyone know if the devs are going to plan any patches for the three games? Would be nice if anyone had any info on that front.

Microsoft could start by having the Dishonored series on Switch. I’d be down with that.

Have there been any actual updates to the game to make the game look or perform better since it’s initial launch on Switch?

I wish Capcom would stop sitting on this IP and remaster the other games in the series. Obviously it’s good business to have the series branch out in other media, but still. They need to hurry up. LOL
