Yeah that's what they said when Sales (of games) were originally suggested by their board of shareholders (or whatever they are). They said "they're already a value".. once done, now you can't stop them from suggesting and putting their own stuff on sale these days.

This will be an early purchase for me, I could care less whether its origins are mobile or not, whether the accelerator is digital or analog. If a person puts enough restrictions on any game [for their own comfort], they'll be playing nothing at all. lol.
When it comes to graphics I truly believe that far too many people merely Parrot the words they hear... "Oh such and such game isn't running at xFps" or 'the textures look muddy' and so forth, just to attempt to impress another person. In reality, many of these aspects are almost impossible to really notice unless you're looking for them. I still [play the older Wipeout, PSP's which weren't graphic intensive and love them. Graphics mean almost nothing to me, handling on the other hand, means a lot. People are still b1tching about 4 k graphics when the human eye can't even see in 4k. I mean Pft.

In Advance Wars Dual Strike IIRC you got hidden maps for linking your GBA Adv. wars cartridge. on DS lite... Knight in the Nightmare had a similar link in but I've forgotten which game you needed; only changed an outfit in main character ono KoTN

@KitsuneNight N took the cheesy way out instead of casting Luigi. Still, I'd have gotten it. Nothing quite like paying for nostalgia. There WILL come a day you no longer even recall these things. WHy physical was still avail. in NA, I got the 3ds game cases, love 'em, still own and use them, I see they have a switch ver. but the PDP block (themed) cases avail. these days are far more cool. Check Ebay for reference...

People are comparing physical carts which they claim 'can break' to download which WILL become unavailable, come next-gen. Really? with the number of physical cartridges still out there from S/NES and you're worried about those breaking? IMO comparing those two makes no sense.. I still have 200+ DS games, but the DSI ware ones are no longer available for DL anymore (on thier original system).

my 3ds is still console #1 and will be for years to come, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Wind Waker brought to the switch.

Add me to this list of buyers please.

Add two external speakers, making it look. on the exterior. like a mini boom box and shade the clear to smokey bronze and I'm in.

@GhostGarrity In comparison, Rune Factory 4 made money making waaaay too easy early on and runed er I mean ruined the game for me... I was a millionaire before year 1 was out.

please make day/night cycles longer with skip option and for cryin out loud, make the sword easier to recover (early in-game) if you lose it by dying early. You shouldn't have to wait through half the game to get it back again. Oh, and bring StarBound to the switch while we're dreaming out loud....
One last thing, please PLEASE fix that fishing aspect/game, it's far too steep of a learning curve. Balance in all things is the success in life... and games...

I have a library close by, logic says that's access, but no, you can't game on the wifi, so no, not everyone has equal access but I can tell you are someone that must win a debate to feel validated at all costs, so you win... feel better?

@Shade_Koopa That minority may be larger than you think, with many disabled and elderly (over 50) having fixed incomes; net fee's of over $80. for basic monthly are just not a priority in life. That disabled % is higher than you realize. Some (quazi)major) cities in the US have as much as %45. either disabled (&)or homeless, they're not buying the internet anytime soon. In my complex, only about 4 in 45 have internet/wifi at all. People 50+ and above is the largest growing population today and many are gamers from way back.

Great game on the 3ds, the graphics (and gaming) are above average IMO. The battle graphics were a nice touch, the vehicles looked great, the character chibis and just the way they handled a few things most of us take for granted, make this game stand out for me. as one of the better overlooked RPG's on the 3ds.

Several games like Monster Hunter are on their way, M.H. needs to pick up the pace... M.H. Stories was good IMO

The game looks good in places...like a toilet.... looks great in the can.

I've loved this series on everything I can get it on. it is a 'sleeper' fun party-style game.

Nintendo passes up some of the easiest cash grabs that their players actually want, go figure. more items like this would sell well IMO/Experience.

Hey TAITO, please bring Space Invaders Extreme 2 Switch Edition to this hybrid, would look great

Originally this update was all about the forced sign-on. now they've changed it to be about the graphics. I refuse to buy it until they cancel the forced sign up, there's too much of that garbage on the net, to begin with.

This game only serves to denigrate the previous attempts at racing on the switch, (MK 8 aside) such as the poorly done V Ralley.

@SetupDisk i've bought items that didn't have the code in the computer, the register person did an override and sold the item anyway. I'm sure this can be done with the Switch, if the sales person was ill-informed. I agree with the person that said the seller prolly thought it was the original switch. Some people (by their nature) avoid making those distinctions.

Well, this wouldn't surprise me in the US what with Tronald Dump hitting those countries with those extra fees and the recent law changes in the taxes between states with internet purchases.

However this has often been N's routine, start charging slight increases (until the public swallows it comfortably) then raise it again, ... ad nauseum. They've been doing it with games for years now. They know business wise-the public will accept absolutely anything, in small doses, they would never accept all at once. Human Nature 101. This is why Our Amendments are so carefully protected. (in theory)

I would like to see them redo Galactrix for the 3ds too.

the problems with MMO's and online games is, you can't revisit (replay) them once the service disappears, making them temporary/rented games. For this reason, I wouldn't buy it anyway.

I was so pleased with the 3ds I never thought it would be supplanted by another console, but I felt that was about my DSiXL too. Now the Switch is doing just that, making it's name as my fav. console to date. Their motto should be: 'So many games, so little time'.

I have been following this project, these people know about the dock troubles and have solved it. I will definitely be buying this one.

The ad says regular switch also. I Still wonder if Nintendo actually remover the capability of TV from the switch or just says not compat. because of hot fitting the previous dock. This would make porta- docks work.

I bought into this before I realized that you're only saving $10. after the tax here in the US. And I made the mistake of buying F.E. on it missing out on my swag, which cost me even more. Not to mention I'm not impressed with the game at all so far.

I pretty much agree with every pointy why not to Switch up. no pun intended.
Especially considering most games have text smaller than my gb Micro, no exaggeration, and I can't read them even with my glasses on.

what is it with EVERY GAME DEV using tiny text, as though there's not enough room, with huge borders that would even keep Mexico at bay (no offense intended.)

I had it pre-ordered at GS, then bought 2 game passes without thinking, pre-plan was: only buying 3 more triple-A titles this year, Links Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3 and this and GS lied saying LM3 was due out 12.31, ...two days after changing my preorder to LM so as to not waste my 3rd game purchase, the news drops of the 10/31st date, killing my getting the pin deal: Moral of story? I hate GS!

@YourGoodFriendly Although the 3ds Version is missing some of the things in the switch version, the stylus use makes an exacting placement or mining a breeze IMO., just like a mouse would.

If anyone's read this far down if you enjoy this type of game you really should check out 'Mecho Wars: Desert Ashes' and 'War Theatre', both by Arcade Distillery and Advance wars knock offs and decent in their own rights. Mecho Wars was around long before Tiny metal and first released on IOs but slated for the DSi.

I only hope the online does not doom this multiplayer to kill the usefulness of the game once the online is no longer available or make it useless to those without online. Even at this stage, not everyone has persistent online available due to finances, logistics or reasons.

This Joy Con Drift (sounds like a racing game name doesn't it?) is the ole DS Hinge problem all over again, cheap materials, which they ultimately admitted to), N needs to fess up and correct before it costs them too much in sales. Or OR marbe they HAVE on these newer ones?!?!

They keep saying it won't connect to TV but is that just because there is no dock? if that's the case, what about the wired type portable docks would they work? or is the firmware/software or actual connection (male connector) preventing it? I wonder if anyone has tried this yet. No one has mentioned trying it.

It just seems like this 'lite' undoes all the benefits that were selling points in the first place.!?!?!?!? why pay to lose benefits?

I wonder how much of that 100 hours is from the DLC or the mini-games made of feeding the people that I've read about. I can do without those petting/feeding etc.. type mini-games within and without splitting a game path (pokemon style) just for the sake of selling another journey/storyline.

It pads unnecessarily by watering it down. I didn't bother finishing Fates for that reason. If you want to show three views of the story, make each 30 hours or something similar. They're slowly killing an otherwise great IP. Change without improvement is useless.

I rather liked the similarities it HAD to mother... and for that reason may skip this outing.

if you did not play the 3ds version, don't miss it, it is a GG, beautiful graphics, nice fighting system, and a nice new-ish story. brings much new to the purchase.

I might get this guy ... I bought the Fire Emblem ones and the Diablo Loot Goblin (well worth it)
