I believe its use in the game was little more than click bait as well as free advertising by youtube vids that will be created by the very polarization of the topic itself. It was a cheap shot by a company that could have done better.

For those who enjoyed Advanced War and Fire Emblem, this game is worth a look as well as Mecho War Desert Ashes by the same Dev.

I introduced a 64-year-old neighbor lady retiree of mine to AC wild world, she played the game daily until she died of cancer, just before (may after my memory fails me) the 3ds was released. Everyone thinks only young people game but many of us over 50 were the ones playing Pacman and Pong years ago. If we didn't show interest then, where would video games be today?

There's none in Hebrew/Yiddish? I'm offended! Seriously though, Why does it [seem to] take years to translate most Japanese games to English but it apparently only takes months to translate it the other way around? Why not just start by writing all games in English and then translate them to all other languages from there? That seems smarter/quicker/easier? but I know literally nothing about the process..

AW Dual Strike had a great achievement system though, would have loved that here too.... although my personal favorite was the Days of Ruin. I guess I'm alone with that, loved that gritty style. What about all the maps you could buy in the Map shop? I wonder if all those Multiplayer will be recreated? I am glad Wargroove is doing its own thing though, cutting its own groove so to speak.

You would think this game would be an instant win but games like Mecho wars garnered medium response, tho it should have gotten better, also on the DS Tom Clancys End War on the DS was very Advance war like but do you ever hear about that? noooooooo I will get this day 1 and hope this is a massive success.

With all these city/building builders dropping, you would think one of them would learn to do it right from the failure of the others... heck just examine the original RCT series for a winning strategy.

Yeah, apparently, they don't allow you to save the spirit fights as videos. I would love to upload and show how unfair they can be... especially the Fire Emblem Ace & Advance spirit fights. and they don't let you save challengers fights either. IOW there are limits to what fights they allow you to save (for those who don't own it yet)

I still have every manual for every DS game I ever purchased... good times... almost 200 in total.

I've played tough rally racers on the 360, that were close to real life handling (I have owned real VW sand rails before)... one or two on the 360 felt real close (minus bumping your helmet)/ tough, needing a gentle touch (tactile finesse); but that was meant to be. Someone trying it first time, not knowing this might think the game was crap, when the controls are extremely sloppy (close to accurate: in real life at high speeds, 'specially when not all your wheels are on the ground, most of the time...) This is what I'm hearing in the review, but I'll wait for the sale.

On another note: I wonder what inspires/dissuades these game makers of racers from putting them on Nintendo platforms, do they just think no one will be interested? or do they see the low sales (from a crap made game) and assume we don't like racers...
One last thing. Fast RMX = Great game, why can't more racers be like this?

I played the original Fallout 1 & 2, way back when they first released on PC.. this has a touch of that feel to it. It is now on my radar...

considering all the FE characters they've put in Smash, I say thy'll mention Fire Emblem release, but how about Advance Wars for a change up..

I hate to speak badly about this game as I intend on buying day 1, however, I have seen many games do this 'update new release forever...' until the game became irrelevant or the console was on it's way out (exmpl: see settlers DS)or worse; everyone losses interest or even a better contender. Timing is important in releases. The more time they invest, the less profit they make. not saying they should rush it, but time is money. Civ 6 is already threatening it. oh and Fire Emblem. The above comments prove my point.

if they took this, added screen position lock added a phone connection slot/space where the bottom screen would be (It could slide in) and lightened/streamlined the whole thing, this would be a good idea, I'd consider it.

@Onion You can choose either flashlight or strobe, after LM:DM I found flashlight better for LM remake.

@stevenw45 I didn't play the original (but did play LM:DM) but find the controls ... wonky at best (agreeing with you),,, BTW on the remake; in 'options' you can choose strobe, in place of the flashlight, an option not readily noticeable.

@RedMageLanakyn I played LM DM no problem, but I'm finding this remake a bit troublesome due to the gyro being reduntantly mapped with the other controls, Oh, and low suction on the vacuum. and then there's the (forced) restarting a level from the beginning, in spite of your save point once you die...

I'm holding out for a 'Virtual Pool' as we had on the PC 25 years ago. it was amazing.

For those saying they gave up on the 3d aspect, not so, Luigi's Mansion (remake) will be stereoscopic 3d.

Also, The Hylian Shield has a slightly stronger upper lid (decreasing likeliness of upper screen breakage) due to the Sheild border as I suspect the creeper version will with the [creepers] added layers. The supposed speakers being muffled due to location in the corners, I personally never found that to be a problem, in fact, the sound reflects off my palms and sounds better IMO.

@turntSNACO (on the switch) for those concerned about having to log in at hotels, libraries etc, my experience has been a pop up arrives upon entering the password for wifi, that enables you to accept their terms and you are then checked for stable signal and cleared for take-off from there.. even without the browser..

am I missing something? how old is this article? no date? oh maybe that disappeared too! I guess N isn't the only one with this glitch.

I hope the Fallout table is meant to gauge interest in the game (namesake) for the switch. I believe it would sell well.

@dequesi there are many without reliable internet ie hotspots, , free WiFi at restaurants, or live near restricted areas ; military bases etc... Or where WiFi isn't reasonably affordable.
