Sega of America is known for coming up with some crazy ideas to promote new games. When Team Sonic Racing came out, it published a real-life racing video set in a supermarket. Now, to build hype for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, it's uploaded a "Monkeymentary", which is an amusing monkey-themed take on a documentary.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD rolls onto the Nintendo Switch on 29th October. It features updated graphics, optimised control schemes, brand new mini-games, and online leaderboards.

I'll be honest, this is way more effort than I ever could've expected for advertising the port/remake of the Wii Super Monkey Ball.

Banana Blitz is and amazing game which still plays perfectly on Wii. This remake is not really necessary but I can't see myself not buying it. I'll always support this series.
I've loved this series on everything I can get it on. it is a 'sleeper' fun party-style game.

Anyone who has never played the games before, don't sleep on this. It's one of the greatest franchises ever.
It's a shame they didn't save all this publicity this for the good entries in the series... then again, I've always said it's the more inferior games in a group that deserve a remake/reboot.

@RickD What I'm saying is Banana Blitz is not the most popular game in the series and part of its charm was playing it with the Wii Remote. I'm sure a remake/remaster of SMB or SMB2 would do a lot better. Banana Blitz happens to be my favorite so I'm not complaining.
@RickD Also people like me, I never had a wii and never played this particular SMB game before.
I don't mind re-releases in console gaming market tbh, people can still play the old ones, but re-releases means there's still new copies available to buy.. Much better then having to hunt down old 2nd hand games.
