Still making my way through Persona 5 Royal. I truly love this game, but I have never fallen asleep so much during a game before ( I play late at night after my daughter goes to bed). Every time I think I’m about to reach the finish line, it gets moved a little further. I’m not complaining, though. After 115 hours, I love all of these characters and am excited to see where the story ends.
Continuing my sojourn through Persona 5 Royal. I currently am sitting at about 75 hours of playtime at the moment. What an awesome game! I’ve come to truly care about the characters, and the SMT battle system is sublime. Guessing I probably have 30-40 hours left. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I’m about 40 hours into Persona 5 Royal and absolutely loving it. In a way, it reminds me of the plate-spinning of Cult of the Lamb, but everything you choose to do benefits you, more or less. It still has that SMT bite, as far as challenge goes. Can’t wait to see where the story ends up!
More Persona 5 Royal for me. This game is truly unlike anything I’ve played before. Very much enjoying the Shin Megami Tensei aspects of the game, and very excited to see where the story goes! Cheers, everyone!
I’m starting off the year with what I’m sure will be a three month adventure with Persona 5 Royal! I’m already ten hour in and am absolutely smitten. I’m glad that I have a bit of SMT experience, as it’s making this unwieldy epic a bit more manageable. Cheers to the Nee Year, everyone!
I wrapped up Super Mario RPG this week and decided not to start a new game before the New Year. Instead I jumped back into Stardew Valley and am having a fantastic time! Merry Christmas everyone!
Still deep in Vampire Survivors and working my way through the early stages of The Outer Worlds. The patter’s load screens are killing me, but it’s I’m getting pretty invested in my persuasion-heavy run. Cheers, everyone!
I remember owning SSX Tricky on GameCube and GBA. The GameCube version was incredible (probably one of my top 3 GC games), but man the GBA version was bare bones and ROUGH. But I do remember how incredible it felt to have that game in handheld form, despite how the unpleasant it was to play.
Finished up Death’s Door. Fantastic game! I’ll definitely be dipping into Vampire Survivors, and will start deciding what to play next. I may keep going with GRIS, but I may also start Dredge. Too many games to decide! Happy gaming everyone!
Tears of the Kingdom! I have the Temples completed, the Master Sword in hand, the Depths completely lit up, and only about 20 shrines left…but I just can’t bring myself to finish the journey. What a beautiful game this is!
I‘m currently sitting in the endgame for Cult of the Lamb. Didn’t think I’d be able to finish it off before Tears of the Kingdom, but it looks like it’s gonna happen! I’m also adding in a bit of Lunistice for some old school 3D platforming fun. Really enjoying it so far! Happy Tears of the Kingdom Eve, everyone!
Just finished off the second Bishop in Cult of the Lamb. This game, though fun, is starting to cause me a lot of stress. To be honest, it’s hard to jump back into my play through knowing that as soon as I open the game back up I’m going to have a million tasks to juggle in my village, all while trying to sneak some crusades in. The frustrating part is failing a crusade, and then not being able to immediately jump back in without letting my village absolutely fall apart. I guess I’m just not in the right headspace for it right now. I picked up Kaze and the Wild Masks on sale and WOW is it an incredible Donkey Kong Country clone! Absolute comfort food gaming for me. Happy weekend, everyone!
My physical edition of Cult of the Lamb arrived this week, and I’ve currently put in about 4-5 hours. What zany fun! Hoping to tackle more of it this weekend (and hopefully finish the game before May 12th). Happy gaming, ya’ll!
I haven’t had a lot of time for gaming this week, but I am did start Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Enjoying it so far, and I’ll probably keep playing through it this weekend. I’d like to play through GRIS, as well, but we’ll see. Happy gaming, everyone!
Sitting on the final showdown in Metroid Prime Remastered. Back in the day, I played all the way to this point, but got intimidated and never finished. I’m looking to rectify that this weekend.
Godspeed to all of you with your gaming this weekend! Hope it’s a good one.
I’m still using my launch day Switch, and after playing my Sister’s OLED, decided this would be the time to preorder (especially with new hardware seemingly nowhere on the horizon).
Metroid Prime Remastered for me! Enjoying the waves of nostalgia pouring over me as I explore Tallon IV again for the first time in twenty years. It’s absolutely as gorgeous and terrifying as I remember. Happy weekend, everyone!
Finally finished my sojourn through Aionis in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. What an absolutely beautiful game. I was genuinely emotional during the final scene. I would say it was 115 hours well spent!
I’ll be moving on to Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend. I haven’t swapped cartridges yet, so last night I dabbled a bit with various titles in my digital library: Inmost, Sonic Mania, #Drive, and the NSO GBA library.
Same old boring answer for me this weekend: Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Life’s been pretty busy lately, but I have managed to make it to the 90 hour mark, and am sitting in the last chapter. I’m mopping up a lot of side quests and enjoying a leisurely exploration of this incredible world.
I’m also making my last purchases on my 3DS. I picked up the GBC Mario Golf, along with Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies. I keep going back and forth on whether I should pick up Pokemon Yellow, Tails Adventure, and Donkey Kong Country Returns. I’m sure I’ll cave as the final date draws nigh.
Cruising through Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Sitting at nearly 70 hours in Chapter 6. I absolutely adore this game….easily the best in the franchise for me. I haven’t felt this excited about exploration since Breath of the Wild.
Hope you all are enjoying Metroid Prime Remastered! Can’t wait to get my hands on the physical next week. That game changed gaming for me. Happy weekend!
Vampire Survivors and Gunbrella shadow drops, firm date for Dead Cells Castlevania DLC, Octopath II trailer, Silksong release date, very short teaser for Metroid Prime 4 with a Prime Trilogy release date, and a huge trailer for Tears of the Kingdom!
I’m 25+ hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I love this world so much. I know it’s still very early, but I think this may be my favorite Xenoblade game of the series (and I love them all). Currently about 11 levels above the enemies in the current area I’m in because I can’t stop exploring and taking on quests. Happy weekend, everyone!
My family is in town for the weekend, so my sister and I jumped into Enter the Gungeon with some co-op madness, as well as some Horizon Chase Turbo. I won’t have much time, but I’ll try and squeeze in more Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The game has me completely hooked! I know I’m super over-leveled for where I currently am in the game, but I’m having too much fun poking around every corner of the world. Happy gaming and happy weekend, everyone!
The casino tile puzzle in Super Mario Sunshine. I wanted to throw my controller through the wall. And the Star Road in Super Mario World also left me with some bad memories .
About 11 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3. So far, I’m enjoying the story. I feel that (so far) the villains are the most mysterious and interesting in the series. I like the ability to class and swap with ease. I haven’t found the initial environments as interesting as XC 1 and 2, and the first 10 hours feel more linear than the first two games. Overall, though, excited for the journey! Happy gaming, everyone!
