If this rumor is true, then I wouldn't mind playing it given I never played this version of Hot Pursuit, only the Wii one (unpopular opinion, I had fun with it). Plus, I kind of want the novelty of saying "I have both Hot Pursuit games on Nintendo systems." As silly as that sounds.

Being someone from the US, I genuinely had no idea what Lucozade was until I bought Superfrog from GOG years ago. The game is no longer sold there, but it's interesting being someone who just saw this game on GOG during a sale, thought "this looks cute" and bought it. Fun platformer though.

@Zuljaras You and me both. I originally bought the classic controller for gyro aim in Splatoon, also, not to wear down my Joy-Cons for games that require them (Pokemon Let's Go and Super Mario Party come to mind).

I just assumed the joysticks were like my other controllers like Wii, Wii U, and GameCube. They never drifted once, again I take care of my stuff, so there is that.

Got 16 out of 21. Not bad considering I haven't played most of these games, some of them were just lucky guesses.

Night of launch, I did get two rounds in, and a few errors. I'd figure it was just the launch rush filling up the servers. The morning after, I played four rounds and stayed connected and played fine the whole time.

@Kalmaro While they call the mode "battle royale," it's hardly a battle royale. It's more like an eight player deathmatch mode. When you lose, you just respawn and keep playing, rather than go back to the menu.

@ArtiomNLS You need to also keep in mind not all reviews come out right before release, or on release day. Sometimes, people who write reviews have to wait for the actual release to play the game like everyone else in order to review it.

Personally, I don't use reviews, I'm a play it and see for myself kind of guy, but I have seen reviews go up sometimes a few days after release.

@TimboSlice I played this on PC, so I'll answer best I can. Apex Legends is a battle royale with 60 players in teams of three. Once you're eliminated, you can actually come back if a teammate retrieves your banner and respawns you at a respawn station (provided you don't leave the game). However, once all three teammates are eliminated, game over.

Haven't seen a PvE mode as I play this occasionally, but they sometimes do limited time events. Two I liked were Shadowfall, which is solo battle royale, except when you're eliminated, you stay in game and become a shadow causing trouble for other players. The other I like was Winter Express, pretty much king of the hill with round respawns. Both of these were limited, but I enjoyed them a bit more than the main mode.

Ever since playing Apex on PC, I've been wanting this one on Switch just to play when I'm away from my PC. I'm happy with this, genuinely enjoy this battle royale game occasionally thanks to the teamwork and respawn feature this game has.

Will be adding this to both my Switch and PC wishlist. Really like what I saw during the PC Gaming Show, and the Steam demo was excellent. If you have Steam and a PC that can play it, go give the demo a try. It really is a nice game.

Got Super Mario Party earlier this year as a birthday gift, and I love the game. However, I never wondered why we didn't get DLC for it, I just assumed it was a complete game.

I have no problem with DLC when it adds new content, but not every game needs to have DLC. Sometimes, it's just fun to play a full game without add-ons.

On Switch, going to check in with my Animal Crossing island and try to complete a task. On PC, continuing playing the PC classic Theme Park, and plan to play Command & Conquer Remastered, hoping to squeeze in some PSO2.

This weekend, I'll be checking in with my Animal Crossing island, and playing Asphalt 9 with a Joy-Con Wheel as I picked one up this past week. Love the arcade driving feel. On the PC side of things, the classic game Theme Park, and since it finally launched in the US, Phantasy Star Online 2.

Apologies if I'm siding with unpopular opinion here, but I enjoyed all three Sonic Boom games. Yes, even the Wii U one. So I'm probably the only one sad to see it go. Fire and Ice was the best of the three IMHO.

The cartoon on the other hand, I haven't watched until last year. I don't have cable TV or Hulu, so I had to pretty much wait for the DVD releases.

Still wish they kept Sticks, she really is a fun character and I wouldn't mind her in the main series.

Currently planning to play Asphalt 9 as usual, and hoping to get around to Splatoon 2's splatfest (weather calling for storms, so might not be able to play online, in event the net goes out). Already checked in with my Animal Crossing town, and will continue to do so.

Hoping to play Animal Crossing, Tetris 99, and Asphalt 9 this weekend. There may be some other games too, just don't know which ones yet.

Got a surprise from my friend in the mail, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Guess I know what else I'm playing this weekend.

Just some dailies in Asphalt 9 and hopefully more Mario and Sonic Olympics this weekend. I did get Star Wars Racer on PC this past week (thank you Star Wars sales), been reliving the game from when I played it during the N64 days. Playing more of that too.

6/10 here. This was fun to do... though I read Mario vs. Luigi as Mario and Luigi (I can't be the only one who made this mistake).

You'd think I'd be here for that Sonic set with my avatar... but nah that Untitled Goose Game set got my attention. Genuinely wasn't expecting that to be turned into a set.

Seriously, all of them look great.

This weekend, more Asphalt 9, and hoping to get around to playing more Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo Olympic Games. On the PC side of things, planning to play Halo. May play other games in addition to these, not sure which ones yet.

@Dang69 Yeah, but also it is an online game. The point of betas like this is to stress test the servers. Given many are trying to connect is a good sign as it tells the developers to put more servers into place.

If they don't stress test it and see if they need more servers, then it could mean more headaches for the final game.

Only played one round fully, and then connection error. Thankfully this is a beta, so the developers could see there's an interest in this game and hopefully prepare servers before its official launch.

The little bit I've played, I had a lot of fun. Really liked how I made my character look too.

@Riff-the-Don @JokerCK Pacific time, it starts in 7 minutes looking at my PC's clock. It begins at 12:00 PM PDT, which translates to 3 PM as I live in Eastern US.

Going right onto the wishlist. Bought the 3DS version on sale last week and love it. Will be great seeing this one on a bigger TV screen.

Current weekend plans include Asphalt 9 and Tetris 99 for their events this weekend. Though may play a couple of other games, but really not sure which ones yet. The two mentioned are definitely getting played.

Already downloading, looking forward to the beta period. This looks like my kind of game, so I'm looking forward to trying it.

Being a fan of the series, never having to played this one, I'd be up for a port of it. Especially after seeing it online countless times. I'd be curious to see how the trackball would be emulated, or if it would be direct movement.

Current weekend gaming plans include the Asphalt 9 events, Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8, and squeeze in some grinding in Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

On the PC side of things, planning to try Borderlands thanks to a free week Steam is having.

I may play some other games, but I want to try to get around to playing these.

@Swindla I think you missed the reference. This question was always asked in the PC community. If this ends up on Switch though, I'm very happy. I've been playing Crysis on PC recently, it's a solid FPS.

The real question remains... can the Switch run Crysis?

I usually just slightly dampen (not dripping wet) a corner of a washcloth, clean it, then dry with the dry side of the washcloth. Pretty much what I remember a Nintendo Repair Center pamphlet said after sending in something for repair.

I can't be the only one who read those upon getting something back from repair.

@Anti-Matter You're welcome. Sadly I haven't played Super Mario Galaxy yet, from the sounds of it, it sounds like extra replay value. Hoping to pick this game up one day, it's been one I've been wanting to get for awhile too, I do remember renting the second one.

Birthday this past week lead me to getting Super Mario Party, so planning to play that, and enjoy the Asphalt 9 Easter event. Also, thinking about powering up my GameCube for Mario Kart Double Dash, been in the mood to play it. May play some other games too, but not sure which ones yet.

Recently ordered a pro controller and received it the other day, so hopefully I'll play Splatoon 2 to enjoy using it. May squeeze in some Mario Kart 8 and Team Sonic Racing. On the PC side of things, only planning to play the classic Theme Hospital again.

This weekend plans include the usual Asphalt 9 daily tasks, Mario Kart 8, and the trial of Arms. On the PC side, I plan to play Theme Hospital, Crysis, and Steam is having a free weekend for Cities Skylines, so I get to try it out.

No love for Twinkle Star Sprites? One of my personal favorites, fell in love with the game ever since stumbling across the PC version on GOG a couple of years back, and even bought the Switch release.

Twinkle Star Sprites is a really cute shmup, with a vs. twist like Puyo Puyo. Really a unique game, and really fun to play.

@tobibra I was just thinking Tokyo School Life. Really is one of my favorite visual novels, I hardly see it talked about or covered (aside from a few news stories Nintendo Life had).

Planning to play Mario Kart 8, as I've had was in the mood to play it all week, and Pikuniku as I started that last night. Also want to try to play some PC games, but not sure which ones yet as I have a couple I'm in the mood for.

@sandman89 Once a game is already downloaded, it can be played offline as if you bought a physical copy. If the game has an online mode, it just won't work. This isn't really specific to physical games, their online modes would be affected too.

Thanks for the news update, I was wondering why Asphalt 9 and Dawn of the Breakers weren't connecting when I went to collect the daily rewards. I play both on Switch, and Asphalt keeps mentioning a Connection Error.

The usual game of Asphalt 9, and maybe Paladins as there's an event happening. Also, might boot up the GameCube for some Sonic Heroes, since I'm in the mood for it. Planning on these, but there may be other games too.

Celebrated by wearing my Princess Peach shirt (even though she's not Mario, this is a Mario related shirt I have) and played Mario Kart Super Circuit on my GBA while I was out doing errands and had to wait for lunch.

@tendonerd If you subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online ($20/year), you can download Tetris 99 for no additional cost, but you're limited to online modes. Buying the DLC or the physical game will allow offline modes and local multiplayer AFAIK. Also worth noting the physical release comes with a subscription.

This weekend planning to play Halo CE on PC, bought the Steam release this past week and reliving the game. Use to play the original PC port. I also plan to play Asphalt 9 on Switch as I missed playing the past few days. Maybe a few other games I'm in the mood for, nothing specific.

I still play classic games on my consoles and PC, and I love my Super NES Mini, yeah I would definitely buy older systems. I like being able to play classics for the first time, or even just have the option to buy or repair an old system.

Sweet nostalgia, I had that Luigi toy as a little kid. I remember it, it was like one of those wind-up-like cars. The kind you pull back, and it goes. Surprisingly had it before I ever played a video game too.

This weekend planning to play the Bullfrog PC classic Magic Carpet again, as well as Asphalt 9 on Switch. May play a third game, but not sure which one yet.

Oh wow, this surprised me. I remember reading about the original on GameCube and never got around to playing it. I'll keep an eye on this and hope it comes to Switch soon.

Grabbed DOOM II awhile back, so decided to just grab DOOM (1993) right now. I have all the classic DOOM games on PC, so this is nothing more than just the convenience of having it on my Switch.
