Ghost Of A Tale was hugely tedious to me. I really don't understand how other people enjoy this, but of course i'm happy for them! Just wanted to say that your mileage can still vary. Also the trailer isn't Switch gameplay :/. It's severely downgraded and lost some of its magic for me on Switch.

I'm glad Knockout City turned out good. You know, with everyone hating on EA and their non-support, successful EA games on Switch is the best way to get what we all want: Sims. I mean...we all do right? Okay maybe you guys want something else, but i want The Sims 😅

Awwwwww this looks sooo cute! Like Paper Mario The Origami King the artstyle alone is selling me on it😄. Although I also really liked the half Paper Mario/half pixel art style he had in-between!

@Heavyarms55 Haha fair enough, i completely agree with you 😄. Just one thing i'd mention though, the angry people are always the loudest...which doesn't make it any better, just bad in a different way 😅. And of course that does reflect on the community as a whole, makes you think everybody is like that. Sometimes it just helps me preserve my faith in humanity to remind myself "No they're not >all< blind with anger, but the ones that are, are the most likely to voice it" haha.

Oh yeah and it also prevents me from going blindly mad at people myself. I feel like you might feel that same kind of anger. So many people obviously bought the game, but people just rarely express their happiness when everything is up to their expectations. Specifically saying it like that btw because Odyssey and BOTW got so much praise. Maybe that is because people didn't know what to expect from those games but everybody thinks they know what to expect from a Pokemon game. And maybe it's also just chasing that nostalgic high they had with the first games...like, i recently tried Pokemon Y on a very legal 3DS, not an emulator on my phone at all and i didn't really enjoy it. I think it was universally liked, right? That made me think, maybe my appreciation really is mostly nostalgia (but i also just don't like turn based strategy as much anymore nowadays, soo)...then again, let's wait a couple of generations and people will probably say Sword and Shield were the good ones and the new ones were bad 😅.

Phew, sorry, my reply was pretty all over the place, it just made think of so many things at once, haha.

Btw on topic - that cartoon is goooorgeous and really makes me feel the Pokemon hype again i had as a kid!

(not taking any sides here btw, i just wanted to say that people's complaints are not just always overblown, there's not just black and white - but maybe i'm missing your point anyway)

Oh. My. God. YES. This sounds awesome! Two Point Hospital was great, even looked and ran great on Switch. I would assume we're getting this, i sure am excited for it! Also, looking out for your students' needs and all, that sounds almost Sims-ish and since i've been desperately craving that on Switch, this might help scratch that itch a bit!

Whaaaaaaat, you just reminded me of a part of my childhood cartoon memories that i had completely forgotten about 😄. I loved this cartoon! If the cartoon isn't airing anymore nowadays....there's no need for this to be a rushed and mediocre licensed game soooo...would be cool if it was cool 😄

I'm all for over the top racing games. Little dissappointed that the cars just seem to explode away when you touch them for a little whiile though. I wanna feel like i have an impact when i ram other cars, like in Burnout for example.

After getting tired of all the "This is gonna run like garbage" comments here and on Reddit, i'm glad to see it runs well. You know, not that i had any opinion on it, i just...can't some people just wait until we get to see how it actually performs first 😅.

Also, on topic - i feel games like this one are important. And important to get right if they try to tackle something like it. I'm glad to see they've done a good job with it. Games are definitely a medium that i would wanna use as a means of gaining insight into topics like this. Much respect to them for wanting to bring light to this.

@Joe-b Yeah it'll absolutely be backwards compatible. I wouldn't even call it "backwards compatible" since it'll really be the same system just with a few better specs.

@nessisonett Yeah absolutely. Thinking about it, i mostly just didn't want to mess with Planet Coaster items that weren't in the game. I just liked the challenge of making what i want to create out of the parts the game gave me. Other than that, with like these great mods for Isaac, i don't know what used to hold me back and nowadays i definitely would want to try them. So, personally, it's not about it being dodgy or anything, i think there's a variety of reasons why people don't want to use them. Which of course doesn't speak against how great it would be to simply have the option.

@nessisonett I always wanted to keep my games vanilla for some reason. But graphics mods are interesting and when i discovered how many quality mods there are for Binding Of Isaac...man, would i love to try them all.

I'm super excited for a Switch Pro. Sorry to all who still regard it BS, i believe in it. I would have also gotten a Switch Lite long ago, if it wasn't for the added complications of replacing the joysticks for when they eventually start to drift :/. I just love the look of the pink Lite so much 😕.

Anyway, more on topic, glad to hear that the Switch seems to be doing so well!

For everyone saying it's dead: it still has 10k daily players on Steam. Not trying to defend it, i too thought Among Us completely killed it, but apparently it didn't. It's just as popular as Phasmaphobia or Hunt: Showdown.

I remember being so bummed out as a kid that the N64 emulator on my PC always crashed on Pokemon Snap 😄. Uh i mean, luckily i had a legal copy, lots of legal copies and tons of N64s to play it with though, yup, so i wasn't missing out, not at all, no, not me, nuh uh.
Anyway, considering Pokemon Sword and Shield weren't much fun for me anymore, i suppose i outgrew the series or something 😕. Would still like to give this a spin though, maybe it rekindles the magic somewhat.

@Magician Afaik that one is pretty comfortable (okay well, relatively comfortable rather) to play on though.

@nessisonett Haha, those are some great examples, thank you! But i wanted to ask more or less what it means in the context of this game/review. But i think i get it now. The reviewer probably meant it's created in a way that outright says "i want to look cute for you", right? 😄 As opposed to...idk, "Good Job!" for example. That game is really cute, but in a more classy, less on-the-nose kind of way.
