Two Point Campus leaked recently thanks to the Microsoft Store, but today was formally announced as part of Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live. You can check out the cinematic trailer above - the good news is that Switch is included among the systems getting the game in 2022.
Two Point Hospital has already been a big hit for developers Two Point and publishers SEGA, with the Switch version going down rather well. This new Campus game looks to adopt the same formula, but this time in the context of running a University / College that has all sorts of wacky classes and research projects. Below is a bit of blurb.
The academic year… is here!
Take advantage of the opportunity to spend way more time with the little people in your university. The academic year begins with a summer break, giving you enough time to get everything looking great before your students move in.
Build libraries, hire the best staff (from eccentric professors to madcap researchers), kit your campus out with the best courses and watch the academic potential of your students get unlocked!
But it’s not just work hard in Two Point Campus. Get to know your students, explore their individual personalities, wants and needs. Keep them happy with clubs, societies, gigs.
Surround them with friends, help them develop relationships, furnish them with pastoral care and ensure they have the right amount of joie de vivre to develop into incredible individuals who will do the legacy of your university proud.
So there you have it; are you planning to grab this on Switch?

I think I read they had a whole series of other Theme- type games planned on the 90s. Defo interested in this. Have recently got two point hospital and while it's excellent its very familiar as I overplayed Theme Hospital to death as a kid
Great! I love Two Point Hospital (and Theme Hospital/Theme Park), so I'm glad they're continuing to make these games. Looks very charming, as expected.
this game fest is really disappointing for switch fans
If they do it well, it could be so much fun!
I gambled on the next ti been a theme park.
And I lost.
God, this makes me so happy. As what feels like one of the few people who played and loved School Tycoon as a kid, I dearly hope that this lives up to that one.
Omg i was sooooo happy when i saw that Switch logo in the trailer!! Looks kind of like it's more focussed on the people. You know...The Sims-ish. I want this baaaadly
Really tempting, and I'm sure it'll be great, but the handling of the Two Point Hospital physical releases (as much as I love the game) has left a bad taste in my mouth. I bought the standard edition, and I ordinarily would have bought the Jumbo Edition on day one, but then I found out that there is even more DLC to come (that isn't included in the Jumbo release). Are they seriously trying to get physical customers to buy the same bloody game at least THREE times?! Because there will have to be at least one more physical release to include the last of the DLC (and how will we ever know that it will be the last of it?).
I wish they wouldn't act so contemptibly. They should have at least forfeited the Jumbo release entirely and sprung for a complete release later on (even at a premium) rather than jerking us around like this.
I'm all in. Two Point Hospital scratched my tycoon itch better than any other game has in years.
Yes. This looks great.
I'm interested, if only because I really wish I could go back to college/university for the third time.
