@Peach64 Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn should have a HD Remaster instead. The Fire Emblem franchise is really popular right now, may as well get people invested in a past entry through a remastered version instead.
A HD remaster of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy from the ground up like Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy would be a very logical decision for THQ Nordic to revitalise the franchise again.
Fun fact, Rare was famous because they decoded the original famicom and was able to utilise various graphical engines that impressed Nintendo! I find this article a neat coincidence as Rare is a Microsoft subsidiary.
There should havery been a console revision version of the Wii U akin to the PS4 Slim. The 3DSXL sold more than the original 3DS because of its better design.
I like it a lot. The demo did what it was supposed to do. Introduce me to the changed mechanics of the game. It offered me more than the OR/ASAP demo did.
@faint Monolith Soft has a studio designated to home console gaming (the Xenoblade team) and handheld console gaming (the Project X Zone team). Monolith Soft have already done work from Skyward Sword and A Link To The Past and even Animal Crossing New Leaf so it's not out of the question for them to dabble with Golden Sun.
@7yL3r8 Why not both developers for the continuation of Golden Sun? Monolith Soft are already a Nintendo subsidiary so there won't be any creative clashes involved. Speaking of Camelot, what have they been up to lately...
Sega is literally the gaming equivalent of The Walt Disney Company in terms of key corporal aquisitions. First Relic Entertainment, then Atlus, then Creative Assembly then Amplitude Studios... and now Technosoft!
Hey Sony! you could have made the PS Vita just as successful as the Nintendo 3DS is right now... but nope, all that system will ever be remembered for is Persona 4 Golden.
@KingMike Thanks for pointing that mistake out, the similarities are probably due to the Shmup genre and similar naming conventions they both share. Shame that Konami got a worse fate than Taito considering the former has more mainstream appeal with gamers...
@joey302 I don't understand why Square Enix is limiting the talented Taito Corporation to the arcade industry of Japan. Square Enix could easily make good money off a Lufia, Psychic Force, Darius or Rastan Saga reboot. Heck, just re-release the Arcade Classics of Taito into one disc like Rare Replay and you've made good money and Taito relevant.
@Jamotello Well, Gradius is owned by Square Enix through Taito and they've done nothing with Taito except Space Invaders and Bubble Bobble since the acquisition...
@bitleman Highly doubt that it'll be Virtua Fighter. All the 3D Classics confirmed so far are available on the Nintendo eShop as individual games. Virtua Fighter doesn't fit in that category.
Well, Nintendo is only interested in Game Freak because of Pokemon. Shigeru Miyamoto was involved with the development of the original Red and Blue henceforth the 40% share in the franchise. Sega is Game Freaks other close buddy. After all, Ken Sugimori does the art for the Sega Classics Collection.
Personally, I believe that Sega should have Earthworm Jim. After all, Earthworm Jim was home to Sega consoles. Plus, it's an IP that Sega's Western Subsidiary like Relic Entertainment can pull off!
I love the purpose and functionality, I just hate the name. It's far too associated with Nintendo. As a competitor, the last thing you want to do is to seem too similar with your competitors as far as naming conventions go.
Personally, I'd love to see Tatsumi Kimishima show his face. Let him introduce himself to the world and give him the opportunity to speak on what the NX means for Nintendo's future...
You forgot to mention the Dragon Quest VII remake and Shin Megami Tensei Apocalypse. Those are going to be the underdog highlights of this year for the 3DS.
@Damo Sega of America published Dragon Code III: VFD. Plus, Sega of America announced that they are going to be handling publishing of Atlus developed games in the USA. I'm just dissapointed that Sega of Europe doesn't have faith in their own franchises...

Re: Yooka-Laylee's Wii U Cancellation is Only Due to Technical Challenges, Not the System's Woes
@gcunit Or wait for the Switch version. Clearly, the Wii U backers did not waste their money so stop acting so salty!

@A01 Mid generation refreshes aren't always limited to specification changes, they're also cosmetic changes too!
Re: Random: Baten Kaitos Speedrun Attempt Leads To Temporary Twitch Account Ban
I personally hope that Nintendo gets the copyright and trademark of Baten Kaitos from Bandai Namco. They're doing nothing with the property right now.

I want a continuation for Star Gladiators. That was Capcom's Star Wars!
Re: Pokémon Sun and Moon Have Delivered the Biggest Ever Nintendo Game Launch in Europe
I'm happy of the success. I'm just concerned that this would be The Pokemon Company's justification for late Pokemon game releases!
Re: Rumour: The Skylanders Franchise Might Be Facing Cancellation
I'm glad this is happening. We may get a Spyro remaster in the vein of Crash Bandicoot for the PS4.
Re: Pokémon Sun And Moon Is Nintendo's Biggest UK Launch Ever
I really hope this is not a valid excuse for The Pokemon Company to delay the next mainline generation of Pokemon games.
Re: Talking Point: What We'd Like To See In Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch
PLAYABLE KING K ROOL. That's all I ask for.

@JHDK Think of it this way, you're getting a PS4 Pro version of the 3DS that can play SNES games well!
Re: Budget New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced for North America
I prefer the smaller version because it's not as pixilated, it's more customisable and it's more portable (plus fingerprints don't get left behind)!

Re: Feature: NES Mini Classics - Bubble Bobble
Interestingly, despite Square Enix owning Taito, they're keeping the Taito branding separate. It's a Sega/Atlus situation.
Anyway, I hope this is an indicator for Taito to revive their intellectual properties for a contemporary gaming audience!
Re: Another Alolan Pokémon Is Revealed Ahead Of Sun And Moon Launch
