So now they expect $20 for more DLC? It's a decent game and I don't think the performance is bad after the updates but I'm not paying more. Plus they expect your level to be insanely high to play the new levels
Fully expect this place to soon become one of those sites on Google news with headlines like, "You'll never guess which classic N64 platformer is coming to switch."
Very weak effort. Pitiful song list, didn't fix the wonky motion controls, move list looks boring for people who already played the first (which got boring fast, anyway). Hard pass
More of the same is absolutely not fine. The music sucks, the joycon motion recognition is garbage, and the moves get boring way too fast. The first one felt like it was slapped together in a few months by a couple people, and now they expect us to pay $50 for more of the same? LMM-effing-AO
Great game, but the perfect scores are ludicrous. The inventory select screen is a joke, the camera is infrequently a pain in the butt, there's no rumble (much less HD rumble), and the brevity sucks. It's really more like a demo....a really good demo, but still a demo.
Ain't nobody coming for your 1990's cowboy video games made by Japanese guys. Statues of genocidal, racist traitors that never should have existed to begin with are fair game though
Yeah, this is an 8 out of 10 easy, especially with two level packs on the way. I agree that the framerate can struggle at times and the gameplay could use a little more depth but the game is super fun and the loot aspect is very addictive.
The art style turned me off at first, but I quickly got used to it. It's got a guns gore and cannoli/ Steamworld vibe. The bosses and backgrounds look fantastic
"He makes a great point, really. By owning all of the other modern platforms, Reggie was able to identify the "issues" and "opportunities" and that gave him a greater perspective, allowing him to improve the situation on the Nintendo front."
Pretty easy to add an Update section at the beginning of the review to let viewers know that the game received a significant patch after the review was posted
Warframe is great, but asphalt 9 is insane for a freebie. 200 hours, haven't spent a penny or grinded for any reason that became a chore. And they are adding 10 new tracks and more cars soon.
Edit: And don't buy the starter pack. It's pretty much pointless. Just learn how to play the game properly to avoid the ftp BS
Strange how companies seem to have discounts winding down immediately after Christmas, right when everyone has gifted eshop cash to burn. Maybe they are counting on us just paying full price
They should have made a cool retro-style beat em up, a la Final Fight. I remember some killer pixel art that some dude did when the first movie came out. That was sweet
Weird how we seem to have swung from everyone bashing generic, low-effort 2D indie platformers to folks defending them. It's almost like they just want to argue and be contrarian for no good reason
Lots of people defending this game for some reason. It looks distressingly simple and average, with no gameplay evolution throughout the 45 minute runtime. Sprites are clearly 'inspired by' better - known games. I'd spend my $5 elsewhere
@GFoyle wut. For $5 you get two awesome arcade games plus the timeless mode. You can choose to input ‘coins’ or freeplay, Tate mode, change the difficulty/lives/bombs, change the screen filter, online rankings, and the button mapping is perfect as is
This is a tough game to review. Multi player is out, but it was bad to begin with. Frame rate is mostly fixed over the abysmal original, but still has annoying hitches. Level design is improved over the original but still frequently annoying, with obscure hidden items and same -looking areas that are easy to get lost in. Overall I'd say a 6 or 7 is fine. Not a game I'll pay more than $10 for but it's nice to see it at least playable without that atrocious N64 framerate

Yep. Their arrogance also resulted in Sega becoming a big rival.
Re: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered Receives Its Very First Patch
So is this patch only in the U.K.? I got the game physical several weeks ago and there was a big mandatory install but I haven't seen a patch since

Re: Dead Cells' Free Barrels o' Fun Update Comes To Switch This Summer
Have you guys beaten dead cells on hard? It gets too hard for me late in the game on hard.
I've only beaten Gungeon once, possibly put 80 hours into it. It's pretty tough
Re: Darius Cozmic Revelation Will Include G-Darius HD And Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+
Oh wow, g-darius is great but these games are too pricey. Trying to rip off hardcore shmup fans is a bad look.
