Re: Interview: Warren Spector on the State of Nintendo, His Future, and How Epic Mickey Annoyed Core Gamers

@MadAdam81 I don't know about you, but when actually racing on the tracks I never notice the cool track design. I only notice the anti-grav aspect if I'm driving sideways on a wall. The tracks look cool when viewing them during an overview of the track, but when actually racing on them it just feels like a standard MK track.

I enjoy the game (aside from the neutered battle mode). I just have a hard time seeing anything innovative about it.

@kensredemption

People who are (or were) longtime Nintendo fans remember the days when they actually seemed to put effort into the business and cared about their customers. Or at least they appeared to care so people would buy their products. To see the meager amount of effort put forth by Nintendo these days is tragic

I truly don't think the Wii U is powerful enough to do the whole "one player uses the gamepad and the second player uses the tv" trick. While keeping the game looking good, I mean. Perhaps Manfred can clarify. The Lego games do it, and Sonic Transformed did it, but they run like crap. Maybe 20 fps max.

Re: Devil's Third Will Be Released In North America, Just Not By Nintendo

@FLUX_CAPACITOR - I'd rather list off things that generally suck about Nintendo right now, like going mobile, Amiibo, no non-XL 3DS in NA, embracing DLC and micro-transactions, losing almost all major third party support, failing to make games for certain franchises that aren't deemed profitable enough, rehashing games ad nauseum, releasing an underpowered system with a gimmick that even they can't justify, etc. Ya know, BS that longtime Nintendo fans are fed up with.
