Do love these releases but i think they need to rethink their pricing. I got ridge racer, aqua jet and air combat but looking at what I pais Vs played I had fun but all 3 sit at "played for a little while" and I've spent over £40 collectively. I would like to give this a go but can't spend another £15 for like 30 mins of playtime. The previous £6.29 pricing was a lot more justifiable

Frustrating from my perspective these lists always seems to fix lots of games I haven't heard of and then find issues with a few I genuinely want to play / own. Hope the Doom 2016 ones aren't very severe (or would love a switch 2 edition)

Great value sub but I enjoy the retro games, not sure everyone sees the same value. I like what they do with it tho and isn't priced outrageous like PS and Xbox are.

Currently playing DQ1 as want to complete it then move onto 2. Having fun but definitely nowhere near as good as other games (but didn't expect it to be either) good for what it is!

Looking forward to these on Switch 2! Just finished 0 Directors Cut and completeled Yakuza 7, Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name and Yakuza Kiwami last year on PS5/Switch.

I thought mouse would have been a given so that's disappointing. Still got it pre ordered tho as my son is fossil mad at the mo so looking forward to building the dinosuar exhibits with him

Really up for an open world game in Japan tho so excited to play Shadows when it releases!

Online is weird on GKC's

On PC it's mostly digital only for years now. A physical media isn't even an option for Steam Deck. Kinda think Nintendo would be better off just not having any physical option for Switch 2, especially as the technical limitations of having physical media for games is increasingly being seen issue (something the internet seems to give a blind eye too).

@OmnitronVariant strange! It's a bit like the flickering hair, it kinda ruins the presentation and is very distracting, almost like emulation glitches. Game looks great otherwise overall but I always think from a play perspective these anomalies really do stick out! Luckily it's not all the time so I can see past it enough to play the game. These kinda visual glitches always feel a lot worse than slight flame rate dips tho and it confuses me why online discussion focuses so much on FPS instead when it's barely noticeable

@mlt yes! I forgot I also had this issue, I'm sure it worked pre patch because I started last week on pro controller and mapped buttons to the back so deffo would've picked up on it then if it was an issue

I thought it was some kinda rain effect hitting materials but then I realised it was happening inside 😂

Anyone else seen a speckling kinda effect in some areas after the update? Hard to describe but it's kinda distracting hope it gets fixed quick

To add to the above, I think efforts for industry regulation / commitments on keeping online marketplaces open indefinitely, or making "pirate" copies legal if the game is no longer available legally, or some sort of digital / license transfer mechanism, would go a long way to alleviate genuine concerns about digital over physical

Also, completely agree with the guy about every comments thread flooded with game key card comments. It's really boring as it just reduces actual conversation about the game. I'm a movie physical collector but have gone in all digital for gaming, so I do appreciate the concrrn, but gaming physical has been a losing battle for many years, ever since digital only games in the mid 00's and online-only games anyway. I can still play my download copy of Gran Turismo HD on PS3 today, but Warhawk on disc is next to useless now. I think people are missing out or just over complicating things not just going all digital at this point, just enjoy the game now as opposed to how you might want to play it in the far future.
