Re: Poll: What Did You Think of the Nintendo Direct?

Another thing I want to point out, seeing Ubisoft and Bethesda really getting behind the Switch is super encouraging. You also see light support from 2k and Rockstar, which is nice.

But really seeing a company as big and non-Nintendo as Bethesda gives me hope that if the Switch does well this holiday more big 3rd party companies will try to make great versions of their games for the Switch.

I'd really like to see Blizzard onboard especially. I'd love Diablo 3 and Overwatch on my switch.(Though I think most people would expect/want Hearthstone from them)

It was really cool to see Bethesda go all out this time, really didn't expect that. I'll be picking up DOOM this holiday.

Snipperclips DLC low-key was so hype for me lmao, love that game so much.

Xenoblade 2 looking better than I thought, awesome that it's coming out this year after all.

And last but not least Mario looks amazing, it's looking like Nintendo has a monopoly on GOTY this year! xD

Re: Nintendo is Still Targeting Switch Sales to Match the Wii

Nintendo is wild. 60 million lifetime AT BEST imo.

The console space has changed drastically since the Wii era. The ps4 has nearly been out for 4 years and hasn't sold 60 million yet.

And honestly the ps4 and switch arent even comparable, because the Switch is a secondary device for gaming, whereas the ps4 can be considered a primary device for gaming due to their steady first AND third party support.

Re: Editorial: The Wii U Has Been Nintendo's Lowest Selling Home Console; It Deserved Better

SecondServing

It didn't deserve better.

It rightfully got curb-stomped by the ps4 and xbox one. Nintendo made SO many mistakes with the Wii U it legitimately makes me wonder how some people at Ninty still have a job. Its online functionality was behind a 2005 console, it had WAY too many peripherals, its main gimmick was weak and overall wasn't even used by even first party devs, its marketing was garbage, etc etc!

And as mentioned already, Nintendo's attitude towards it's own fanbase on youtube was deplorable and regressive.

Did the Wii U have good games? Hell yeah. But its still one of their worst consoles and I'm glad they're cutting it short with the switch.

Re: Talking Point: Raw Power Isn't Vital to Nintendo's NX, But It Does Matter

SecondServing

It's vital. They need as much power as the PS4(preferrably even more) if they want third party support.

And don't tell me third party support doesn't matter. The best selling games nowadays are rarely exclusives. It's always CoD, Battlefield, The Witcher, FIFA, etc, etc.

Also I think it's vital that with the NX Nintendo Network is vastly improved. But that's for another time.
