Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)

Despite what I thought, I still hadn't played XCX until I started playing it yesterday, so I'll see what I think of that before I make a consensus on the series as a whole. But this looks like a ton of fun for people who have played previous games in the series.

@GC-161 to be fair it is a dumb title for a supposedly great game (I say supposedly because I haven't played it)

Also, I don't understand why it's $10 on the Switch, but then $5 on 3DS and WiiU?

Re: Super Mario Odyssey Has Already Cleared 2 Million Sales

@electrolite77 That's because you can sell microtransactions and loot boxes as a cheap way to make money off of multi-player games. EDIT: I just read the article, and this person seriously thinks that what gamers want is higher resolution graphics. Now, while that may be true for some gamers, most gamers just want fun games. Why does she think the retro indie market is so popular? Not because their games are super-realistic 4K, that's for sure.

Also, it's amazing that they've sold 2 Mil in just 3-4 days. I'm sure this is selling systems.

Re: Video: 11 Reviews for Super Mario Odyssey that Are So Bad They're Good

In my opinion, there are 2 types of reviewers that are simply the worst:
1. People who let other peoples opinions affect their own, as was said in the video
2. People who actively insult the player for liking a game. Like, all these people calling everyone who likes this game "Brainwashed Zombies" makes no sense. If someone wants to enjoy something, they can. It would be like if I went onto metacritic, went to Overwatch, and gave it a zero saying that "anyone who plays this game is probably a fat 40 year old who lives in his parents basement." Reviewers should focus on the game itself, and not on the people who play it.

Wasn't actually expecting much of this game, but am now considering picking it up. I come from a very big family, so we're always looking for fun multiplayer games. Maybe we should give this a shot.

EDIT: No pun intended.

Man, I haven't played this in a while. TBH, I'm kind of burnt out on it. I've been playing it pretty much non-stop since our family got the Switch back in late July. Now I'm trying out the new ARMS update, playing my PS4, and finishing up Golf Story.

EDIT: Also waiting for Super Mario Odyssey
