PS5 has the same problem.

The way Astro Bot used it was fantastic, truly a step up over HD rumble, but since then hardly any games use it properly.

So I'm really happy Nintendo have improved upon HD rumble for Switch 2.

Massively disagree. You just didn't play any games that used it effectively. Which was the main problem, it wasn't used enough.

1 2 Switch used it masterfully. You could literally feel individual balls rolling around the joy con.

HD rumble on Switch 1 was great, the issue was hardly any games used it effectively.

What I want to know is whether the dpad is better on the Switch 2 pro controller?

Button remapping should be for every classic console. I mean why the hell can't I use the much more comfortable ZL and ZR buttons on SNES games?

Yes it should be. It is incredibly stupid on Nintendo's part not to have it be. I wouldn't be surprised if that does change before release.

And after seeing it on the livestream today it looks incredibly charming but in this case I got to vote with my wallet.

Sony increased the price of PS5 after release and didn't affect their sales at all.

Sony released The Last of Us Remaster with less content at 70 quid and it still sold well.

Nintendo sold BotW for 60 quid in 2017, and still does, and it sold 30 odd million.

Switch 2 looks bloody fantastic to me, and I will save up the money required to get it.

And so will millions of others including millions complaining about the prices now.

If you really aren't happy vote with your wallet. It is the only true way to take a stand.

I don't play the menu I play games. As long as it runs fast, especially the eshop, I don't care.

I appreciate them being so open about the games affected and it looks like they are still work in progress rather than definitely out.

I mean I need my SF 30th Anniversary Collection with me wherever I go.

And will still look like *****.

The Z-A game or whatever it was called still managed to look like a Wii game compared to the other much older upgraded Switch 2 titles in the Direct.

Game Freak are just bad at this.

I'll probably just get the console alone and enjoy some upgrade titles for the first couple months.

BotW at 60 fps is enough.

The gold coins system was fantastic. I can only hope there is something similiar for Switch 2.

Well I hope not because whilst I enjoy Metroid games I don't consider them a system seller.

But I guess it is likely this is just another Metroid fan getting over excited, which is fair enough. But in reality Metroid is one of the smaller Nintendo franchises and Nintendo knows that so won't be betting the house on it.

That's cause that isn't an issue to fix!

My only nitpick is I wish they split the ending theme so one track is for putting the master sword back and the other track is just the credits song with the triforce over the mountains. Never realised they were treated as part of the same track.

One of the best things about this gen is seeing so many classic games return.

As a console only gamer I never thought I'd again be able to play the likes of SNES Aladdin, the classic Turtles games, classic Street Fighters, Sunset Riders, the Turok games (playing better than ever) etc.

It is also why backwards compatability is so important so they don't once again get lost to time.

If Switch doesn't outsell PS2 I won't be able to ever sleep again!!

I mean who really cares? The Switch still sold amazingly.

Street Fighter 6. Hope it comes to Switch 2 and also Killer Instinct with crossplay for both. Always good for fighting games to expand the online userbase.

That is all that is in the short video. No guarantee it doesn't drop elsewhere, especially considering that was only the first boss.

It still isn't good enough for a full price Wii remaster.

And has longer load times than the Wii original.

This remaster wouldn't exist if not for the original people who made it. They should be in the credits end of.
