OLED for Switch 2 would have been amazing but people would baulk at the price.

Made more sense to wait a few years and offer it as an upgrade option.

Not at all Nintendo has constantly had mini Directs or Indie Directs then had a big Direct following a few days/week after.

I read it thanks. He said it was fixed then immediately in the next paragraph says there was still incorrect inputs happening.

Trying to then give a flimsy excuse as to why it is a good thing does not make up for that.

Mate stop telling me how I played games growing up as you don't know.

I played on consoles, not arcades, using dpads.

SNES dpad was fantastic, even the N64 dpad was fantastic, the Gamecube dpad was simply too small to be useful, and not just for fighting games.

Did you design it or something? As you seem to be taking exception to this fairly common observation.

Still have nightmares trying to play CapcomvSNK 2 with it!

Also the "it's for children" angle is incredibly lazy at this point.

The dpad is too small and always was.

That dpad is for ants.

Well they should because it would then be code in a box or digital release only for a lot of third party publishers.

Game-Key cards is the most elegant solution to this so they at least retain resale value.

Plus there seems to be so many MK games/versions in here I now understand why this has taken so long to happen.

If they have the Playstation version of MK Trilogy with the loading issues removed then this will be perfection.

Unfortunately very much the exception rather than the rule these days even with first party titles.

As a fighting game fan if the dpad actually functions correctly them it will be worth it for that alone.

Microsoft is putting their games on Nintendo and Sony consoles because they have to as the Xbox console brand is tanking.

Nintendo has no need to put their games on other platforms right now.

That nearly looks like a Switch 1 version that was being worked on then scrapped but they decided to bring it back for Switch 2 launch but didn't bother improving it.

Crossovers used to be a big deal but now mean nothing pretty much.
