First game to make me cry.

Oh how I would love a re-release on modern consoles, just as is.

I'd rather they added graphics.

That looks rubbish with dodgy collision detection and jumping.

Pretty key for a good metroidvania/game.

This isn't competition. Two completely different markets.

The Switch 2 as of today has already outsold the Xbox Rog Ally X's lifetime sales and probably by a factor of at least 3 to 1.

PC handhelds are a very niche market.

I can understand the logic with Bubsy. Maybe they are hoping people will enjoy it and fork out for the collection.

At least Mario Kart World didn't try and milk you dry with DLC from pretty much day 1.

The most disturbing part of AI is all the wingnuts online now declaring footage that is decades old as AI for whatever reason. (Not saying that you are one of them by the way).

This couldn't be more clearly Pikmin related than if it was a near 4 minute clip of a bunch of Pikmin staring at the screen.

What I really want is the Alpha Anthology that came out on PS2.

The Alpha games on the 30th Anniversary Collection are great but the Anthology versions were all superior.

That is kind of my point. You can create a narrative from anything.

The support for the game on Switch 2 still brought it up to 7th in the charts.

Who knows how much of a factor the games' being a game key card actually is.

I can't even find a copy of the UK version of Cronos on Amazon UK for example. I'd say that impacts sales.

On the other hand 75% of SW Outlaws were on Switch 2 which shows it is not an issue for the vast majority.

It would have been considered at length between Nintendo and third parties.

Majority of third parties likely said "no chance we are paying so much for proprietary Switch 2 carts so come up with a solution" and this is that solution.

That still means third parties having to pay for a cart to fit the full game on which compared to discs is prohibitively expensive. So they still won't do it.

Game Key Cards was Nintendo's way round this.

Otherwise you get download codes in a box with no re-sellability or digital only release.

Cyberpunk is very much going to be exception to the rule.

Well looks like they are going this route anyway so tough luck I guess.

And if all the third parties chose to put the full games on carts (which they never actually are as what games aren't patched these days?) then you can be sure that cost will be added to the price of the physical release. And then it will be more moaning about price.

Since Xbox One and PS4, games have had to be loaded onto the hard drives because the read speed of the disc drive was too slow.

Looks like Nintendo is actually just catching up to it.

Aye I saw that but it is just the PS1 versions. Would like a proper HD remaster with improved FMV quality etc.

If it doesn't get announced for the 30th anniversary then I'll bite the bullet on those versions.

Yeah I have yet to win a Tetris 99 or F-Zero 99 match but I won at Mario 35 quite often.

It just got crazy at the end of each run and was so much fun!

Hoping for a Mario 40 variant.
