Pokemon games are known for looking......underwhelming.
I'm sure you can work out the rest from there.
Real issue is why you have such a problem with my view that I'm not that impressed with how the game looks graphically. My view is my own and if other people are happy then fair play.
Also Resident Evil is traditionally seen as a Playstation title, has been out for weeks and there were two new releases on Switch 2 this week to occupy Switch 2 owners' playtime (one is top of the charts there and the other one is second).
And in both cases the games are selling more on Switch 2 than Series X which has the much bigger userbase.
Whatever point you were trying to make. You failed (as usual).
I'm keeping my plasma going for as long as I can and dread the day I have to move on to a modern TV.
Have to say I have never noticed any lag issues with my plasma and the fighting genre is one of my favourites and never had any issues playing competitively etc. Maybe just got used to it over the years. If it does exist it is well worth the sacrifice!
Switch 1 got away with porting all the Wii U games as to the vast majority of people it didn't even exist so the ports were essentially brand new games. These expensive Switch 2 editions of already multi million selling Switch 1 games are starting to leave a sour taste in the mouth.
Nintendo needs a big Direct and soon to keep momentum going.
Interesting Mario Kart World is nowhere to be seen. Do they not include the sales of the game bundled with Switch 2? Surely that is still considered a physical purchase as it, you know, involves a physical purchase.
You and maybe the hundreds of others also not buying it for that reason aren't going to change the direction the industry is going in so all you are doing is missing out on a game for no real reason.
And as Switch 2 games get bigger Nintendo are likely to start using Game Key Cards themselves more often. And the sales of Pokopia just prove that the vast majority of the market don't care about them being on Game Key Cards.
It is the casual market that determines whether a game is a hit or not so why would it make sense for retailers not to get more stock just because it is a game key card?
Just seems to me everyone underestimated how popular the game was going to be.

Re: Star Fox Is Finally Getting Another Game, Out June 2026 Exclusively On Switch 2
I'm so happy right now.
Re: Talking Point: Do You Prefer Big Directs Or A Steady Flow Of News From Nintendo Today?
A Direct. That app sucks.
Re: Round Up: The First Impressions Of The Mortal Kombat II Movie Are In
Be hard not to be an improvement over the first movie.
I always take these "first impressions" with a massive pinch of salt but will find out myself in due course.
Re: Talking Point: Do You Play Zelda Games For The Story?
This advertising style taking over the entire website is a serious annoyance and obnoxious.
Re: Talking Point: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of Splatoon Raiders?
@HubbaHunt
What wouldn't it.
Re: Talking Point: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of Splatoon Raiders?
Looks like a Switch 1 game to me honestly.
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2
@N00BiSH
It was, as not once but twice you tried to put words in my mouth.
But all good, if you're happy with how it looks I'm happy for you.
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2
@Indielink
The water effects are leagues better in the Pokemon game and as you suggest, a serious lack of colour here.
Underwhelming. If you told me it was a Switch 1 game I'd believe you.

Stop trying to put words in my mouth chief.

Relax. Move on.
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2

The new Pokemon looks better than this visually.
The new Pokemon.
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2
@N00BiSH
No it's not.
Can you not have both? The environments are exceedingly dull, is that not art style?
Don't take it thick just because I am not as impressed as you are (easily apparently).
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2
@N00BiSH
To not look like a Switch 1 game.
Re: Splatoon Raiders Is Alive, And It's Out This Summer On Switch 2
Meh? Not very impressive visually.

Exactly the same. Duh.

Re: UK Charts: Tomodachi Life Is Living The Dream In Its Debut Week
Don't understand the negativity of "for which only 13% of sales came from Switch 2" For Pragmata.
The Switch 2 userbase is still tiny compared to PS5 and Series S/X in the UK. 13% is a fantastic showing.
Re: Talking Point: What Would You Want From A New Star Fox Game?
The Star Fox series has been at its best (Star Wing and Lylat Wars) when it was a rail shooter with branching paths and limited free roam parts.
More of that please.
And would prefer the soundtrack be based on the SNES game as it was more orchestral and spacey epic.
Re: The Street Fighter Movie Somehow Looks Both Terrible And Amazing
This looks gloriously awful.
Day 1!
Re: Jock Blaney, The Voice Of Star Fox 64's Wolf & Bill Grey, Has Died

His Wolf is iconic. Will play Star Fox 64 in his honour.

not stutter constantly = good framerate.
not blurry = good resolution.
So you want the same thing everyone else wants then i.e. the numbers you were querying.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Not surprised.
The first was just a bunch of fluff with that awful Minions' style humour that gets old fast and the sequel looked just the same.
A damn shame as the Mario series is so damn weird a movie that embraced it could be great.
I'll watch it when it comes to Sky for Star Fox and Charlie Day.

You don't?
Pokopia is doing very well and is also a game I could not care less about as it is in a genre that bores me to tears. Many people will think the same.
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup In Bellabel Park - Inessential Bells & Whistles
Ridiculous price tag. Not even a 120fps option?

In Japan PS5 hasn't been a massive hit but pretty much everywhere else it is still King.
Its sales are tracking ahead of PS4 I believe.
Xbox on the other hand.....

You lost that years ago with day 1 patches and further patches on top and DLC etc.
Ah well, your loss.

Such a self defeating move.

What are strange thing to get so wound up about.
An 8/10 is a great score. Equivalent to an A in exams.
Re: Japanese Charts: Pokémon Pokopia Gets Off To An Astonishing Start
@Joekun
Unless you can change the laws of physics a game key card is a physical item and no amount of mental gymnastics will change that.
Re: Japanese Charts: Pokémon Pokopia Gets Off To An Astonishing Start
@Johnny44
The rest were bought digitally and combined were over one million.
