Last year's event was a painful watch.

Plus I don't care about the actual awards just on lookout for any interesting game trailers.

This time I'll get an early night and check out the trailers the next day.

We all, ALL, need the GOAT fixed and everything else needs put on the backfoot until that is done.

I am of course talking about Resident Evil 4.

People like what they like. If we all liked the same thing then games like Kirby Air Riders likely wouldn't even exist.

But here it's exact same as with the new Zelda Musou game. I love the LoZ series but I hate that genre of games so I was never gonna pick it up despite how much a fan of Zelda I am.

But it's great the games exist for the people who will enjoy them.

Firstly I don't need anyone else to talk for me.
Secondly I have no issue with people enjoying the game, nor am I denying it's well made. It just doesn't appeal.

I do take issue with people criticising others for not buying it even though it was always gonna be a niche title here. And I especially take exception to this DaisyUSA character slagging off the UK's purchasing choices when the USA is categorically worse using their own examples of what they consider the "issues" are.

Odd they didn't reply to me.....

Also the tongue is firmly in cheek for the majority of my comments here.

How original and creatively exciting....

3 titles that qualify as your "EA slop". One more than the UK chart top 10. And a 2K sports title that would make EA look reasonable. Plus only one Nintendo title.

Not sure about the "serious gamer" part (I play for fun!) but yes, if you want the best of all worlds and can afford it then own all the consoles.

I need my Killer Instinct 2013 fix and my Astro Bot fix just as much as my Mario fix.

Also it is clearly a model that works for Nintendo. If you want the "AAA" games performing at their best then PS5 and Series X is there for you.

Yes I know. Pretty much the only reason people have clinged to for why Nintendo has enforced their ridiculous UI border is they want people knowing any footage shown of the games confirms it is via their online sub. Widescreen gameplay removes that reason.

Especially when some Gamecube and N64 games have widescreen options that can hide the awful UI.

Just give us the option.

Nintendo Life do me a favour and use your contacts at Nintendo and tell them we need an option for just black borders on these games.

For context I still use a plasma TV and will til it dies cause even OLED doesn't match it's motion resolution. But image retention/burn in is an issue. Also is for OLED.

Nintendo doesn't expect every first party title to sell 10+ million units. A successful console has to cater for everyone's tastes.

Metroid Prime 4 will probably "only" sell 4 to 5 million units but thats fine for that game series. Actually that would be great for a Metroid title.

I have a fairly wide taste for games but Kirby Air Riders does not appeal at all, especially at that price.

COD down to third after one week. Ouch.

Microsoft will need to triple the price of Game Pass and add another hundred onto the price of their flagging Series consoles to make up for it.

They used to talk about COD killers. Turns out COD was the Xbox killer.

If people want the big third party games on Switch 2 they have to accept they are going to be, well, big!

Good review, and good it looks to be a hit for fans of the game.

When it comes to sales I think think this is gonna be more a Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment than a Donkey Kong Bananaza but might be a sleeper hit.

It could be the best Musou game of all time but the bottom line is it's still a Musou game and therefore I have zero interest in it.

Mainly because I think he is awesome and should be in everything and he can be very intimidating.

It is fantastic. The first season can drag a bit in the first half but there is an event in the second half of the season that changes everything and the show didn't look back.

Easily my favourite Marvel tv series and just one of my favourites full stop.

Also know Dichen Lachman from Agents of Shield, she is a great choice for Impa.

Sony are gonna need that Japan only PS5 sharpish. Deary me.

If it sells a quarter of what the Gamecube did it will have done well.

Everything is soon gonna be game key cards, including first party Nintendo titles.

With the exception of those LRG releases that are ridiculously overpriced anyway so they don't mind stumping up for the carts as they are guaranteed sales pretty much.

If you can't beat them...

Those character models are horrific.

Not a fan of the series anyway but if I was I could not play the game because of this awful art style. Stuff of nightmares.

This was inevitable.

The Switch 2 carts are prohibitively expensive for everyone, even Nintendo.

Hopefully the new movie has a bit more substance to it. The last one was fluff and just felt like a CGI movie made by the people who make the Minions movie with Mario characters in it.
