What about the dpad on the pro controller? Is it better?

I remember the Switch 1 presentation where Ubisoft showed Steep coming to Switch.

The footage looked too good then and it looks too good with Outlaws now as well.

Still a very underwhelming release. Compared to recent Croc or any of the NightDive N64 games it is night and day.

It was the court who decided the punishment not Nintendo so not really getting the narrative of this article that Nintendo showed mercy.

Gameshare is essentially streaming the game to the second console which allows it to be played on Switch 1 despite it not being powerful enough to run it natively.

If it works well it will be a really cool feature for Switch 2.

Can't wait to play this again.

Oh the QoL improvements in the HD version are immense.

I still think we will get both games on the system.

Have to say I preferred the cell shaded purity of the GC original over the HD remake where it could look plasticky (and also had a shockingly bad framerate at times when explosions were going off).

Nothing stopping the HD version of it and Twilight Princess still coming out. There are a few classic games on the service that have remastered verions on eshop e.g. both Turoks (highly recommend) and Wild Guns.

It is great but I think I prefer Street Fighter 5 (many don't) because it favours people who go all out attack which is more my style.

6 is still an exellent fighter though which will be one of my first purchases on Switch 2.

It is nice seeing the Switch 2 logo on these trailers.

Game Key is different from code in a box though. It can be lent or resold.

That's the definition of plastic for no reason. Just buy it digitally then.

Well I'm a digital only gamer these days but bottom line is these are actually an improvement on digital codes as they can be resold.

Switch carts are more expensive than the blurays for Xbox or PS5 and if you want to see third party games on Switch then this is probably the best compromise.

You will still get good guys like CD Projekt Red doing their bit but this was inevitable especially for the likes of Square and Activision when they come on board.

At least the game keys retain some value.

Not idea but sign of the times.

PS5 has the same problem.

The way Astro Bot used it was fantastic, truly a step up over HD rumble, but since then hardly any games use it properly.

So I'm really happy Nintendo have improved upon HD rumble for Switch 2.

Massively disagree. You just didn't play any games that used it effectively. Which was the main problem, it wasn't used enough.

1 2 Switch used it masterfully. You could literally feel individual balls rolling around the joy con.

HD rumble on Switch 1 was great, the issue was hardly any games used it effectively.

Yes it should be. It is incredibly stupid on Nintendo's part not to have it be. I wouldn't be surprised if that does change before release.

And after seeing it on the livestream today it looks incredibly charming but in this case I got to vote with my wallet.

Sony increased the price of PS5 after release and didn't affect their sales at all.

Sony released The Last of Us Remaster with less content at 70 quid and it still sold well.

Nintendo sold BotW for 60 quid in 2017, and still does, and it sold 30 odd million.

Switch 2 looks bloody fantastic to me, and I will save up the money required to get it.

And so will millions of others including millions complaining about the prices now.

If you really aren't happy vote with your wallet. It is the only true way to take a stand.

I don't play the menu I play games. As long as it runs fast, especially the eshop, I don't care.

I appreciate them being so open about the games affected and it looks like they are still work in progress rather than definitely out.

I mean I need my SF 30th Anniversary Collection with me wherever I go.

And will still look like *****.

The Z-A game or whatever it was called still managed to look like a Wii game compared to the other much older upgraded Switch 2 titles in the Direct.

Game Freak are just bad at this.

I'll probably just get the console alone and enjoy some upgrade titles for the first couple months.

BotW at 60 fps is enough.
