Re: Rumour: Metroid Prime 4 Will Apparently Make Quite The Splash At The Switch 2 Direct

"The true unveiling will blow everything else in the direct out of the water"

Well I hope not because whilst I enjoy Metroid games I don't consider them a system seller.

But I guess it is likely this is just another Metroid fan getting over excited, which is fair enough. But in reality Metroid is one of the smaller Nintendo franchises and Nintendo knows that so won't be betting the house on it.

One of the best things about this gen is seeing so many classic games return.

As a console only gamer I never thought I'd again be able to play the likes of SNES Aladdin, the classic Turtles games, classic Street Fighters, Sunset Riders, the Turok games (playing better than ever) etc.

It is also why backwards compatability is so important so they don't once again get lost to time.

Been playing it solidly for the past month and having a blast.

I remember I couldn't get it for months in Northern Ireland as it was sold out everywhere, even got scammed on ebay trying to get a copy of it. When I finally got it my expectations were ridiculously high but it still managed to surpass them.

The perfect pacing, the action, the hilarious one liners, Leon being both a complete dork and badass at the same time. Simply the best game ever made.

Educated guess.

Maybe don't follow up the incredibly sussessful hybrid console which has resulted in unifying all your handheld and home console studios to then split your business again with an experimental home console and a new 3DS type handheld when the majority just want a more powerful backwards compatible Switch.

My prediction it would be a disaster isn't exactly far fetched.

Thankfully Switch 2 is what we are getting.
