I was really looking forward to this, but after this, and just more BS, I no longer care. This delay (and the reason behind it) is the last straw. No one cares about the online stuff. They should just scrap it, and release the main game. However, we know they aren't going to do that. They have already refused.
There are some exciting games coming to both the Wii U and 3DS this year. As for the Smartphone Apps, the Miitomo does not interest me in the slightest. So, they really have to win me over with their other Apps, or I am not on board.
I also am very eager to learn more about the NX, and it's launch titles. I'm hoping for a sucessor to the 3D Mario franchise (64, Sunshine, Galaxy 1+2), a REAL Metroid game, and some unique and new Nintendo games. I also want REAL 3rd party support (not the crap that the Wii U got).
@maukenboost PM and M&L are great series. I have played all of them except for M&L Partners In Crime, and loved them all (or really liked when it comes to Sticker Star).
However SMRPG is something else. It just has something that those other games have yet to tap into. Maybe with a possible renewed partnership with Square and the NX, we will finally get a game worthy of being called a sequel to SMRPG.
As great as the Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi games are, they still cannot match the gameplay, story, magic, and fun of SMRPG. It's criminal that there has never been an actual sequel!
For me to buy this game on the Wii U, it was going to depend on the specifics of the port. Now that I see that they did nothing to utilize the gamepad, or adding connection to other accounts, I'm going to pass on this.
I have only noticed a couple bugs while playing. They have been few and far between. Nothing to really complain about. The game is great. In fact, I'd easily fork over more money for more tracks and more vehicles.
I have to say Fast Racing Neo feels like F-Zero meets Extreme-G, and that is a good thing! Damn it's fast, but beautiful! Sometimes I hit the boosts, and I feel like am being throttled into the stratosphere!
It is definitely not for casual gamers, but a must have for racing lovers!
@Geonjaha Nope, NX is not the official name. Could it eventually be? Maybe, but I think it's more of a placeholder like Dolphin and Revolution. I'm just ready to lose the Wii brand. I never liked it. I'm a fan of both systems, just not of the Wii/Wii U name.
I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!! I WANT IT!!!
Hmmm, no thanks. It sounds pretty dumb, honestly. Also, I have no friends or family members that would ever get this, so it would be a pretty lonely and boring experience for me.
I know Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield (two of the main members of the old EWJ team), are hard at work at Armirkog. still. I would hope that Pencil Test Studios (their company) next project would deal with EWJ, or a game like that. I know of a fan game that is being worked on, and that looks very promising.
I also do not agree with DTN political views, but as long as he doesn't force his views onto others, he can believe in whatever he wants. He is a very talented man and a good story teller. I just don't think it would be wise for me and him to hang out together.
@AlexOlney The Turok stuff also intrigues me. I wonder if there will be a Cerebral Bore style weapon. That was one terrifying/annoying/hilarious weapon.
The Dinosaur and Cthulhu Mythos style FPS genres seem very underutilized.
I'm very curious on how this transfers over ot the Wii U, and how they are going to handle the "second story" (which I think makes the game a must have).
Definitely grabbing this one, and getting ready to be creeped out again.

Screw MN9, screw Comcept, and screw Inafune!

@A01 Nah, it's me assuming. It's good to know that it's as good as I hoped, though.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th December (North America)
@A01 Ah, that would explain it. I was assuming you were in NA due to this being the NA Dowload post. Guess I have to wait for a few more hours.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th December (North America)
@A01 You've already got it? The eshop on my Wii U still says it's "Coming Soon".
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th December (North America)
Grabbing FAST as soon as I can download it off the eshop!
Re: Minecraft Finally Digs Its Way Onto the Wii U eShop on 17th December
I might grab it. It will depend on the quality of the port, and how it will utilize the gamepad.

The only gap I know of is a Dinosaur FPS gap.

I know you guys are from the UK, but come on! The last Apollo mission was in 1972, and the first Space Shuttle was launched in 1981.

Re: Video: Jessica Chobot Is Samus Aran In This Lavish Fan-Made Metroid Short
I would give the entire lower half of my body for a Ridley Scott or George Miller directed Metroid film starring Charlize Theron!
Also, damn good video.

Re: Super Mario Maker Gets Mid-Level Checkpoints and More in Upcoming Update
Kewl, but we still desperately need hills/slopes.
Also, we still need nippers, chuckers, the tanookie suit, the frog suit, the hammer bros suit, water in non under-water levels, and the angry sun.
Re: Yukio Sawada's Super Mario-Kun Is Coming To Super Mario Maker
@SuperWiiU I'm waiting for the Decemberween THnikkaman costume . . .

@Spoony_Tech Lego Dimensions has Doctor Who. I just solved your problem.

Well, I'm getting it, no matter what. However, missing that holiday window may cost it a bit. I hope I'm wrong, though.

@JonWahlgren OK, good.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Top 10 Super Mario Platformers
Swap 3DL and 3DW, and swap SMB3 and SMW, and that would be my list.

Re: Gunscape to Bring Cross-Platform FPS Level Creation and Sharing to the Wii U eShop
If it has Quake 1 style levels, textures, weapons, and enemies, then I am sold.
I remember getting a program back in the 90s that allowed me to create my own Quake levels. Ah, good telefragging times.
Re: Video: Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka Tackle Michel Ancel's PAC-Mario Stage in Super Mario Maker
I now really want to make a Galaxian Mario level . . . which means lots of Lakitus!
Re: Video: Watch Miyamoto And Tezuka Pick Apart The Iconic Opening Level Of Super Mario Bros.
Just another reason why I love Shigeru Miyamoto.
Re: Review: Mario Golf (Wii U eShop / N64)
