@rjejr I'd feel pretty shortchanged too. The whale shark might be neat for a model, but that's a hefty profit lost.
I don't think there were shelves to display stuff on in the past games. There's display stands similar to what the museum uses, but not actually shelves/cabinets. Would be cool though, especially for the Happy Home Academy awards.
Gulliver took a week break from my island, visited, and now it's been about a week and a half. I've been spending my morning trying to track down either a dog or rabbit on a Nook Ticket Island to move in. Rocco just bailed.
@rjejr Huh, I was expecting the oarfish model to be bigger. I started with the mantis (the praying mantis being my favourite bug), honeybee, snail, seahorse, squid, horse mackerel, and now the firefly.
I finally had Redd show up two days ago, after about a two week absence. Wasn't a bad day for art. Leo sent me a Tremendous Statue in the mail, and Redd had a legit Rock Head Statue.
Yeah the island was good to me. I've been using that "trick" to get better NMT islands by making the Dodo blush. Still not sure how much I buy into it, but I haven't been to bamboo island in quite a bit. The shark fins have been a thing since the early games, but definitely helpful. Don't want any more sea bass 😠. The shadow for the ribbon eel is pretty neat. Used to be really thin in New Leaf. Digging the change.
Had Flick visit today, so got him to make me a firefly model. Didn't really catch much else.
@Tyranexx I didn't see it's right leg at first, so thought it just looked like an angry Torchic. Then I saw the leg and thought 'Yep, that's a Chocobo".
@rjejr The hot item bonus bumped the chair value up to 4500 each, so walked out with 211,500 bells.
I went to a NMT island last night and snagged a great white, 3 Hammerheads, a ribbon eel, 2 suckerfish, a whale shark, and a saw shark. Wasn't a bad haul, donated to museum and sold the two spare hammerheads.
I have yet to pay off my basement. Keep spending on the turnips with not a whole lotta luck in return. Last week I bought 90000 worth at 93 each, gambled to Saturday morning and sold them for 27 each.
@rjejr I struggle with inventory space, especially in RPGs. I'm definitely a hoarder in those games. Now that shark season is upon the North (already snagged a few), I would like to keep them in storage for CJ, but he's been so infrequent lately that it's not completely worth filling my storage space.
I saw that fake Direct. Would absolutely love it if we get a multi-craft option. Had enough iron to make 47 iron garden chairs when they were the hot item a week or so ago. Let me tell you, that took a fair bit of time. My poor thumb.
@rjejr Camera control in the museum and either access to our storage, or at least additional inventory space, are two of my biggest hopes in future updates.
@rjejr I have the wings, just not the torso of the Quetz. I haven't spent much time in the fossil section of the museum, so guess I got used to seeing the wings and figured the torso was there. I agree on the camera issue. Just learned the other day that there's the comet up in the top corner hanging from the ceiling.
@rjejr Thanks! I'm gonna need all the luck on this one. I don't know how I missed it, but I'm gonna go with your theory. Must've been a case of mistaken identity.
@rjejr I actually checked today and found that I am indeed missing one. It's the torso of the first flying dino, the Quetz-something-or-rather. How exactly missed it when doing the final check, I have no idea.
@rjejr None of the signs have the "Donations are appreciated" message they say (or whatever the exact wording is). Unless he did say something and I just powered through the dialogue.
Pretty underwhelming. I like the idea, but definitely could've been a lot more to it than what it was. Facts should've been used instead of low effort jokes/puns.
Really enjoyed this on the 3DS, looked great and was a lot of of fun. Probably grab it on Switch as my hands have been beaten by arthritis, so 3DS isn't an option any longer.
Be putting in a good chunk of time into Dragon Ball FighterZ (grabbed it before sale ended). I had Xenoverse 2 put couldn't get into it, plus the nightmarish camera wasn't helpful.
I reinstalled Lego DC Super Villains (had it crash 3 times in an hour or so, seems better so far), so I'm giving that a go thanks to the sale. I'm also jumping between Retro City Rampage DX and Shakedown Hawaii to see which I like better.
And of course, the daily ritualistic sacrifice to Tom Nook.
Today will be Animal Crossing New Horizons for the most part, then some Hypercharge: Unboxed with the wife. Tomorrow will be Leisure Suit Larry- Wet Dreams Don't Dry, and Skullgirls 2nd Encore.
Just got Hypercharge: Unboxed the other day and I've been enjoying it immensely. Have yet to save all 3 cores, but I'm doing pretty good. It's always the green core I lose.
Jumping between Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry and some. Super Mario Odyssey. Trying to find the last 5 purple coins in the Metro Kingdom. They're proving to be elusive buggers.
Just beat Ganon in Breath of the Wild last night, so I'll be taking a break from that before doing dlc. Got Achievement Hunter's 12 hour stream today, so not sure what I'll be playing. Probably get some CTR or Smash Bros Ultimate in though.
Breath of the Wild. Wrapping up the last shrines I need (I'm at 83, so got a good chunk left), then cooking a bunch of food so I can go after Ganon tomorrow.

Took advantage of that shexy 50% off sale for Team Sonic Racing. Had the game before, physical copy, but had to sell it. Really liked it but didn't think it was worth a 55 dollar price tag, so this sale was nice.

@Tyranexx Really digging the looks for Articuno and Moltres. Bit on the fence for Zapdos though.

@rjejr Oh that two-timing fiend! He didn't say boo to me, and I checked all the spots in the museum to make sure they're full.

Wonder if he'll talk about Summer Snooze Fest.
Re: Multiple Amazon Listings Hint At Unannounced Switch Games From Several Major Publishers
@Toadie Ever since it was delayed, there's just been silence. Hopefully it's still happening.
I completely forgot about Yo-Kai Watch. Had tried a demo for one on the 3DS and thought it wasn't bad.
Re: Multiple Amazon Listings Hint At Unannounced Switch Games From Several Major Publishers
@dewokkel Oh I know it was, but it got delayed and then it's been silence since.

Re: Star Wars Episode I: Racer Is No Longer Speeding Onto The Nintendo Switch Today
Bit chintzy to announce a delay as the clocks get ready to strike. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth, be going to Fast RMX for my fix now.
