Update (Mon 1st Jun, 2020 17:05 BST): And it's live! You can catch the episode right now over on the podcast's Soundcloud page. Enjoy!
Original Article (Fri 29th May, 2020 11:35 BST): The newest episode of Talking Games with Reggie & Harold, a podcast set up by ex-Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé and author Harold Goldberg, is set to go live next Monday, and this one features another special guest.
Yes, as you've probably guessed from the headline, Geoff Keighley will be joining the show for the series' third episode. It's set to go live on Monday, 1st June at noon ET and you'll be able to catch it here - as well as catch up on previous episodes, including one with Xbox head, Phil Spencer.
This new episode will cover topics such as The Game Awards, Summer Game Fest, and even the time that Keighley managed to beat Reggie in Wii Sports Tennis at E3. Of course, the Mario Tennis Aces rematch went a little differently:
The seven-part podcast is, at its heart, a fundraiser for a new initiative from the New York Videogame Critics Circle (a 501(c)3 non-profit org), to bring games and games writing courses to high school students in homeless shelters. The GoFundMe is here; donors get access to exclusive content and can submit questions to ask Reggie.
Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the usual place.

I see more profile building from the man who said he left Nintendo to spend more time with his kids. This man is proving to be another lying fat cat!
I see Geoff "dead eyes" Keighley I go the opposite direction.
@dew12333 I guess his kids felt he spent more than enough time with them after leaving Nintendo and now he is free again.
@dew12333 and you have nothing to show for your own failures. Guess we all knew that all along. Such a sad man here tries to bring down another only to bring down himself. Typical petter must feel small now right.
Has anyone tried Reggie's podcast?
Reggie is a legend, always brought a heart and warmth to Nintendo x x
2 soulless corporate slaves in a podcast. Exciting stuff!
Wonder if he'll talk about Summer Snooze Fest.
I can’t even begin to imagine how dull this podcast is.
People who talking bad about actual successful people are just sad individuals.
Its actually a fun podcast that talk about behind the scene stuff of the video game industry and these people personal experience in it...
Theres this part In the first episode where reggie told the story of meeting shigeru miyamoto for the first time, and i found it really funny how the man who stand side by side with miyamoto himself on the big stage act like any of us would act if we somehow meet him one on one...
Theres no harm in atleast googling the podcast and try listening to it first before saying bad stuff about it.....
Plus Its a nonprofit fundraising podcast man....
Maybe we should try to do a fundraiser too to give you a functioning heart you damn goblin...
@SwitchForce Your words seem confused but have a sinister undertone, one directed at an individual who has said nothing to you. But look yes I am an moany old git, I know that, but this man said he left Nintendo to spend more time with his kids. But now he has another job and appears to want to raise his profile in lots of ways. Even taking a job at gamestop, a company bemoaned on here by most people in the US.
Anyway I may be an old git who moans but I won't stoop to your level of name calling people online.
Reggie and Geoff should talk about how weird E3 would have been next week sharing the LA Convention Center with the National Guard.
Lol glad you updated this as live, we were all on the edge of our seats waiting for it!
A podcast with Reggie?! Oh, but he doesn’t have Nintendo secrets anymore...just another earthing on a microphone.
@dew12333
He can do what he wants. Get a life.
@dew12333
"I won't stoop to your level of name calling people online"
You called Reggie a "lying fat cat" online in the first comment.
So I guess you are a liar too.
Congrats you just beat yourself.
@dew12333 Dude, you have to realise the difference between every-day running an arm of a multinational corporation (Nintendo) and being on a few podcasts and a board member at GameStop.
The last two are far-far-far from full-time commitments, so I'm pretty sure he has enough time to spend with his kids. Ergo, he is not a lying fat cat.
