@MajorBritten Yeah I'm a bit skeptical as well. The nose and mouth look different sizes/shapes, even with the weird grimace or smile Mr. Stained Shirt is making.
@Heavyarms55 I have yet to pick up Stardew Valley though I have wanted to for quite awhile now. Harvest Moon took an ugly turn for the worst and don't think there's much chance in reviving it.
Animal Crossing and The Outer Worlds are my most anticipated Games for 2020. I'm also hoping we get some news on the XIII remake/remaster and it gets a 2020 release.
I think this holiday season is when I finally get my hands on Stardew Valley. Slept on this one for quite awhile now and I might as well push my current backlog further into the abyss.
@gaga64 In the beginning half it doesn't feel very distinct, but I feel it comes into its own in the later half when everywhere is open to you. I felt like I was a trainer and really connected with my character in the northern parts of the region, being out in the wildness training my team.
They're all definitely formulaic, and I've done the same where I'll be playing 2-3 different Pokemon games at once in the past. It does get hard remembering what you did in which game because they're so similar, although the journal thing in DPPt is a nice little recap that helps to a degree.
I've been playing Pokemon for 20 years now and I'm still having to look at the type advantages/disadvantages too. Majority of them I can remember, but then they went and messed everything up with the addition of Fairy and changing the type of some of the little buggers. Pokeathlon was neat to a degree, but the beauty contests I can't be bothered with.
I accidentally deleted my save data for Shield, so I'll be starting that back up again. Be making some more progress on the Nitro Bar in CTR, and I'm debating between Odyssey or BOTW.
Would be nice to see an announcement for a new Sonic game, not a racing game that wasn't really all that great, or a collaborative title at the Olympics.
I finally got Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 this past week, so I'll be diving into it for the most part as I only made it to The Raft last night. I want to finish building my Eeveelution team in Pokemon Shield, and I might get some more time with Yoshi's Crafted World.
Not sure if it was ever confirmed, but the first time I went to Satori Mountain in BOTW, I left flowers and my sword in the pool of water as tribute to Iwata.
@JasmineDragon I wouldn't mind a Super Mario Sunshine or a Wind Waker remake/remaster on the Switch. Two of my favourite games and I no longer have my 'Cube or Wii U.
I'm in support of their decision to not have all Pokemon in Sword & Shield. There's simply too many at this point to give time and attention to, plus this let's players focus on the Pokemon for this new region instead of using their Machamp from 5 generations ago. You have the opportunity to discover new favourites and build new teams instead of just using the same ones you've been using for years, as a lot of people do through transfers.
Gonna be gaming while watching RoosterTeeth's Extra Life 2019 24-hour livestream, so not sure what exactly I'll be playing. I do know I'm going after Divine Beast Rudania later this afternoon in BOTW. Might throw in some Super Mario Party.
Think I'm also gonna mess around in Steelport in SR3 if I get the chance. I'm about 50% done the game but I'm loving every minute of it.
I gotta go with Oshawott for this one, with Totodile being a close second. Wasn't a big fan of B&W/B&W2, nor of 2 outta 3 starters, but Oshawott is neat. Mainly like him for Samurott though.
Actually just beat the game a couple hours ago on PS4. While I have and had no plans to get it for Switch as the wait was too long for me, I definitely recommend it to those who are waiting for the Switch release. It's really a phenomenal game. Obsidian did a fantastic job with it. Already looking forward to my next build/playthrough. Got some backlog to take care of and some time to sink into the new CTR GP first.
I mean, Chimchar is the only way to go really. Granted, Sinnoh is my favourite region so I'm a bit biased, but nothing really compares. Sure, Tepig fuels my love for bacon, however it's evolutions look like monstrosities. Litten was neat. Only really liked Quilava from Cyndaquil's line.
Really hoping this ends up legit as it is a massive improvement over the nightmare before. I would prefer Sonic Boom style Sonic over that monstrosity.
I didn't catch the Banjo stream unfortunately, so I'm not sure where to find this one. Will the stream be featured on Nintendo's site like Directs are or will it be on YouTube?
Breath of the Wild for most of today, then some CTR before the Grand Prix ends. Sunday I'll be picking up The Outer Worlds, so the old Switch can take a break.
@Heavyarms55 I'd be game for Wind Waker HD to come to Switch! My favourite LoZ game, closely followed by Minish Cap, which I wouldn't say no to a remake of.

@Seacliff Yes, I am well aware of the change and the reasons why.

Re: Harvest Moon Publisher Natsume Working On "Exciting New Projects" For This Year And Beyond
I've been loyal to Harvest Moon for years, but I was hurt by the split a couple years back. Interesting to see what they have planned though.

The things I'd do for a remake/remaster of this to come to Switch.
Re: QubicGames Is Giving Away 10 Free Nintendo Switch Games: Today's Game Is #RaceDieRun
@patphenom REKT is the main game I'm following this thing for. It's eating up my memory card.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 14th)
@gaga64 Excellent choice on Pokemon game. Sinnoh is one of the best regions, in my opinion, and is my personal favourite.

Re: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Rise Of The Phoenix DLC Releases On 23rd December
@PBandSmelly I wouldn't say no to something akin to Rise of the Imperfects.
Re: The Game Awards GOTY Is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
@NotTelevision Definitely an odd choice for a closer.
Re: The Game Awards GOTY Is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
@LUIGITORNADO Odd way to spell The Outer Worlds there, friend.
Re: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Rise Of The Phoenix DLC Releases On 23rd December
Really looking forward to this, mainly for Gambit. Absolute favourite character from X-Men.
Re: Sony's MLB The Show Is No Longer A PlayStation Exclusive
@XCWarrior Tried the demo for that one a couple weeks ago, was really fun. Definitely be visiting the eShop this Christmas.

@Lony85 Lego City Undercover is pretty fun. Lots of collectables to find.

Really miss that man.
Re: "Around 10 New Games" Will Be Revealed At The Game Awards 2019
@Grumblevolcano According to the release schedule, there's supposed to be another DLC pack for MUA this year, so that might be announced.

Re: Pokémon Happy Meals Return To McDonald's In The UK Next January
I mean, it'd be a bit of a trek for me as I'm not in the UK, but I'd be down for the Eevee, Lapras, and Sandshrew ones if they come to Canada.

Re: The Neon Circus Update Brings A New Mode To Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
@Jayofmaya The ring mode kinda feels like Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge back on PS2/Xbox.

Re: New Game-Changing Features Revealed For Pokémon Sword And Shield
I kinda dig the ability to access your box from anyway similar to the Let's GO games. I tend to use a revolving party, so that is helpful.
Re: Poll: Which Starter Pokémon Is The Best? Choose Your Favourite Fire-Type Starter

@ShadJV I'd very much love a Break the Targets mode.

@gaga64 Nice one on the Korok seed count. I myself just found my 51st.

Re: Video: 13 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In November
Oh hot damn! Sign me up for some Bee Simulator.
The end of the game better consist of you tasked with stinging someone, screen fades to black, then the credits roll.
Re: Rumour: The Starter Evolutions For Pokémon Sword And Shield Might Have Been Leaked
Think I've seen some Lot Lizards that looked quite similar to Sobble's final form. Yikes!
Re: Blizzard Is Indeed Bringing Overwatch 2 To The Nintendo Switch
Bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for them.
Poor timing on their part to release Overwatch last month, just to turn around and confirm this.
Re: It Looks Like The New Pokémon Anime Series Will Tell The Story Of Pikachu's Life Before Ash
Interesting. Haven't actually watched the anime since Black & White due to Iris's "You're such a kid" bit was irritating as all hell.
As neat as it is for the anime to do all regions, I'd really love a game to do the same.
Re: Nintendo Switch Is About To Get A New And Exclusive Arcade Golf Game
Doesn't look half bad, to be honest. I'd much prefer a Mario Golf game but this one looks like something worth grabbing, especially at the discount.
Re: Poll: Luigi's Mansion 3 Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
Both the wife and I are interested in getting it, but we're both wary due to Dark Moon feeling a bit hand-holdy.
Re: The Top Ten Best-Selling Games For Wii U, 3DS, Wii And DS (As Of September 2019)
@Heavyarms55 I'd be game for Wind Waker HD to come to Switch! My favourite LoZ game, closely followed by Minish Cap, which I wouldn't say no to a remake of.
Re: The Top Ten Best-Selling Games For Wii U, 3DS, Wii And DS (As Of September 2019)
Really enjoyed Nintendo Land on the Wii U, was one of my favourite games actually. Really wish Ninty could figure out how to make a Switch version.
Re: Terry Might Be Joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sooner Than We Expected
@Heavyarms55 Would be an interesting alt colour/variant for him. If not, I'll just play some SNK Heroines.
Re: Feature: The Most Memorable Ghosts In Nintendo Games
Always thought Vivian was cute.
Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales
@KitsuneNight The best things come in 3s.
No, I actually didn't see the others.
Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales
@KitsuneNight That's because it's not 7 years old yet. Turns 6 in a couple weeks.
