@kotag Nah. Lots of people loved Persona Q. Even the people who treat Nocturne like the second coming seemed to enjoy it.

If the Persona 2 cast is included I'll buy this day 1 for sure.

I know a lot of people joke about it but the hate he gets seems to be overly venemous for no reason. This community can be really vicious just because someone doesn't like their favorite multi-billion dollar corporation. Sad really.

Hey, it's my money they want. I'll just continue playing them on my 3DS through emulation instead.

Scores are entirely subjective and shouldn't be what defines a review anyway. From what I can gather this seems like a bigger, better Splatoon. It doesn't matter if that means it's an 8, 9 or 10; I'm going to buy the game no matter what.

@RainbowGazelle I would argue ARMS was the start. Perhaps not an instant classic but it looks like a solid fighting game.

All these people saying "good riddance" and "I'm glad it's ending" genuinely confuse me. Miiverse was home to a variety of quirky and charming communities, and was a great feature in tons of games like Smash, Splatoon, WWHD, Mario Maker, etc. People made friends there, hours of entertainment have come from reading the stupid and confusing posts, not to mention the art we got from it.

Not that it was perfect but the concept of Miiverse was such a "Nintendo" feature, and I was fairly fond of it. One of the defining things the Wii U had to offer. I will definitely miss it.

I like cake more, but I don't want to disappoint Marina! Hard decision.

Good for him! Never played the games and I don't know if I ever will, but this guy has the right attitude. Game reviews and reviewers tend to be rubbish and unreliable. Hell, most of them are pretty bad at videogames, as the current trend of calling something "The Dark Souls of ____" will tell you.

@JaxonH The Chibi Robo game was awful though. This looks way better.

Replace Kirby's Dream Course with Pilotwings, and add Chrono Trigger and DKC2 and 3 and this would be perfect.

Definitely buying this. NES's library isn't that great, but all the games listed here are total classics.

@Equinox It's true that all other conferences were disappointing, but the fact that Odyssey looks like the best Mario game ever doesn't hurt.

I think we can all safely say Nintendo won E3 after that trailer.

I don't really mind. Game looks fun and if it reviews well I'll get it. Just another advantage of owning both consoles.

I'll pass for now. Gameplay isn't my cup of tea but it looks nice. Hope everyone has fun with it though!

This game looks incredible, definitely the first purchase i will be making when I buy a Switch.

Can't wait to play these games! Never played RH or Strange Journey on the DS but I look forward to having a blast with the remakes. EOV will probably be the first in the series for me, so I'm excited for that as well!

Glad the 3DS lives on. With Ultra Sun and EO5 my 3DS will still get some playtime out of me.

@Kalmaro the standard version of the arcade game is what I paid for. The arcade game got updates, why shouldn't the Wii U. It had barely enough content to justify 60 bucks anyway.

Reduce the time we're getting of Mario + Rabbids and we'll have the actual length of the presentation

Horrible. Early adopters of the game get screwed over with an underwhelming experience and don't even get the arcade characters. Yet another anti-consumer practice that people here will somehow defend.

EDIT: Oh and to add to your second comment: Conquest is known for having a worse story than Birthright but plenty of people enjoy it because of its great gameplay. Birthright's gameplay was just boring.

We like these series for the GAMEPLAY. Not everything is about shallow dating simulators.

Yes, absolutely. I'm so excited about ARMS to the point where my enthusiasm for the game is so positive that in other situations it would seem like sarcasm. I'm disappointed not everyone is feeling the energy and pure fun emanating from this game but not surprised either. I remember when Splatoon came out, it had mixed reception. It's hard to imagine that now, since it's part of Nintendo's legacy and was a total success. I'm convinced ARMS will be the same. The gameplay and characters are looking fantastic!

I have said multiple times that I would buy a Switch when Mario comes out. However, if ARMS lives up to my expectations, I may reconsider.

I'm buying this game because I want to show my support for a possible remake of FE4 and FE5.

@LinkSword agreed. Why are people so desperate to kill off the 3DS all of a sudden? It's a great system.

The idea isn't that appealing to begin with... combine that with Kickstarter's increasingly worse reputation, questionable stretch goals and hardly any information about the actual game we're getting and this game looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

Hardly a "shock discovery". The Switch and Pro/Scorpio aren't even directly competing with each other anyway so I don't understand the point of this article.

You know something is really bad when even JaxonH feels extremely negative about it.

Why have map and mode rotation at all? If I want to play my favorite modes, I have to go on ranked and hope for the best. Wouldn't it just be better if all modes and maps were randomised at all times, like it is in a game like Overwatch?
