I dislike games like The Last of Us 2. As a medium videogames are capable of delivering storytelling in ways that aren't possible anywhere else, and TLOU2 barely takes advantage of it. Yet the games industry is so incestuous they'll always applaud the loudest for the AAA Hollywood shooty gun game. Oh, working conditions at Naughty Dog? Don't worry about that, look at those pretty graphics! Yawn. Nintendo really dropped the ball with Animal Crossing but at least that game has charm.

@Heavyarms55 Capcom releases its old SF games with online functionality on practically every console it can get its hands on. There's no world where a tournament organiser would be incentivised to use pirated copies. Nintendo always resists putting its Gamecube era games on newer consoles; legalities aside the bigger picture indicates a services problem.

I......... agree! I love this game so much, very fond memories of playing co-op with my little brother. We'd spend hours just decorating the little apartment.

Pleasantly surprised comments here are not defending Nintendo. Fan-games are works of art and should be treated as such. Corporate greed will be the death of this industry.

I'm honestly quite gutted, Level-5 was one of the most important game dev studios to me growing up. From the ps2 to the 3ds they always made games that could make this idiot smile. I hope this isn't the end of their story in non-JP markets

Super Mario Odyssey has the best movement in any game I have EVER played, period. Aside from that... it doesn't do anything for me. Anyone feel the same? I dunno, save a few exceptions (Metro, Luncheon, Wooded) the Kingdoms were so uninspired or lacklustre. The mission objectives were all too easy or just plain boring. I like the sandbox style Mario game fine, just feel as if they did absolutely nothing with the concept.

Is this available in Canada? Would love to get the Star t-shirt

Galaxy is a 10/10 for me, Galaxy 2 is a 9/10, 64 and 3D World both 8s, 3D Land is a 7/10, Odyssey and Sunshine both 6s and 64 DS would be like a 4 or 5/10

The bare minimum effort I've come to expect from Switch era Nintendo. I'll stick to the superior Dolphin versions, at least I can play Galaxy 2 on there tee hee hee

Doomguy, Rayman and Travis are the three "essential" third party choices left to me. Would definitely love Heihachi and Leon Kennedy as well though.

I feel like Blizz has been taking note of the success of Paladins and Fortnite on switch.

Maybe some Nintendo themed skins could spark a little bit more interest? I can see Tracer Link, DK Winston, Samus D.va and Captain Falcon Lucio being things.

Heihachi is the only Namco rep I can see happening any time soon anyway.

@Snow-Dust Hardly. The game's development cycle isn't rushed, the story might be too serious for its own good but doesn't seem to deviate to creepy levels, and the gameplay is using the tried and tested boost formula, that was praised in Unleashed, Colours and Generations. It's not going to set any records on Metacritic but so far the game looks passable. Please get off the bandwagon.

@CosmoXY Sun and Moon were honestly dull and lifeless to me. Alola is pretty but has barely any depth to it, and I think the amount of "changes" put in US/UM shows how much "passion" they have left these days.

USUM looks like the most underwhelming Pokemon games yet. It seems like they're not even trying anymore.
