Also as an aside but i found a shiny finizen when i first played the game. I was so dissapointed that I needed online and friends to evolve it. If I could evolve on my own it could've been my favorite.

I will wishlist this and see if it ever goes on sale and then i will consider buying it.

The only interesting things are gen 10 and aardman. Unless they do something genuinly unexpected like bringing back pokemon ranger or something

Gen 5 has the strongest dex imo. I remember the pokemon magazine hyping up new pokemon and being so excited.

My first gen. As a kid i had such a massive crush on Dawn i would always chose Piplup.

I chose slowbro. I only really like 3 gen 1 evolution lines. Slowbro, Venusaur and Vileplume. (Eevee too kind of. The eeveelution i like are from later gens)
All the other's are just kinda whatever for me.

I would love something a bit more obscure like Pokemon Conquest or park. Or maybe even a compilation of the Rangers games

I liked Tales of Arise, Granblue and Kyoto Xanadu. Honestly my hopes were Metaphor or Clair obscura. I think it was an alright direct but nothing made me mega excited.

Is it weird to say part of the reason i don't want to buy Prime 4 is because i haven't played 1 through 3. Playing numbered games out of order just bugs me for some reason

@Friendly The japanese version of cyberpunk is censored. So it does seem that either Adhoc messed up by not making 2 versions. Or that nintendo gave cyberpunk a pass because it's a bigger game.
Personally i think Adhoc messing up is more likely.

@Friendly Cyberpunk has dong customizations in the character creator. Witcher doesn't show it (from what i know).
That's why Cyberpunk is used as an example because the JP version has censored content but the western release doesn't. People wanted Dispatch to do the same.

@drykho That's true if 1/3 of a standard direct was just 1 game it would be kinda weird. I meant condense this direct into like 2 or 3 min trailer. (although for the record i'm not a fan of single game directs)

what... its been since september since the last regular direct. why not just put the new info in a trailer for a new full blown direct.

I think a big problem is how fast studios will announce a game. There was no need to announce prime 4 when it was just a logo.
I do kinda get it for indie teams since most just make 1 game at a time, so complete silence would be a bit weird.

@DwaynesGames That makes sense. I always thought it was for parents. The branding showing this is popular and cheap thus making it an easy gift for their kids. But now most parents are more familiar with games so this kinda branding wasn't as usefull anymore.

I think if nintendo wants less complaints about greed they could bring back Nintendo Selects. They probably don't want to do for 1 mil+ sold. So maybe instead do it for older games to make the series more approachable. Like Fire Emblem or Xenoblade.

Or definitive editions for those games.

I feel like AI is becoming the next 'Trolley problem'. People will say "it's bad if used for X but it's fine if used for Y" when both options could effect someones livelyhood.

For example i often hear its fine for filing tax paper work. But this can effect the livelyhood of accountants.

I kinda get why netflix didn't think about the games division. They make mostly shows. They would probably prefer to license out their properties to game developers instead, like how Disney does it.
