Americas is the best but only because it has a jungle on it. Kinda weird to choose 3 so similar boxarts, it doesn't make me think as to which i like more or less as much as previous brawls.

Just got back from vacation. The only game i played last week was ACNH when i finally got home at 1 am today.

This week i will continue playing Metaphor and ACNH for that last statue. Also whilst on vacation i bought Nights of Azure 2. The backlog grows.

I feel like we need a new Hanlon razor but instead of malice it's AI. To describe that art mistakes aren't always because of AI but could just be straight up humans with a short deadline quickly drawing something.

I'll be on vacation this week so.... probably some stuff on my phone like FnF or Sonic 1/2 (Christian Whitehead versions). Hell maybe i will try to get into FGO (i've tried multiple times but gave up at second and third singularity. Game is too easy and the battlesystem is boring imo. But the character designs are such 10/10 that i keep opening the app just to get free gems and roll the gacha)
I'll be back next weekend though.

I feel like pokemon references the gen1 sprites too much. Would've loved sprites from the DS era, the games i played as a kid. But i don't have any nostalgia for the gen1 sprites. Or they just reference gen1 too much in general for me.

Paying for online is scam. Most games don't get dedicated servers and are p2p connections instead. And the retro games are good but they are either Nintendo published or kinda mid. Because most good 3rd party games wil just get released on the eshop

So i don't care much for the service. Although for the price it's fine for renting first party retro games.

@nomither6 I meant the types from the ps1 and ps2 era like this or as a better example the ps2 game Ico. Where the 3d has just aged like milk. I'm willing to say most modern 3d covers will still look fine a decade from now unlike the ps2 era. As an example Doom (2016) original cover uses 3d, is a decade old and hasn't aged poorly.

Japan has artwork. Not great art but stiil. The western was clearly from that period when 3d models were marketed as cool and the future. But now most of these haven't aged well.

Good that it's running good enough on SW2. Worse than PS5 but how does it run compared to the PS4 version? Since SW2 is a bit more powerful than the PS4

I started Metaphor last week. It really is fantasy persona, which i love it's like combining fries with mayo. Love them apart but will marry them when together.

Also finally got the last painting in ACNH. I still need the statue of Nike for all the art. But still WOOOOO!!! YES!!! 1 TO GO!!!!!

I beat Neon White. Really fun speedrunning 3d platformer with a fun story. Highly recommend if you're even slightly interested. Plus i bought a physical copy for 12 bucks, so pretty bang for your buck.

In all fairness to Xbox, if they need to lay people off to stay afloat then maybe it's just needed. Maybe they hired too many people, bought to many companies withous seeing the profit to justify it. It sucks for the people that got fires but at the end of the day making games cost money and Xbox can't keep people employed just because it's "right"

P3 is my favorite persona. I really like this! (personally prefer the FES version over reload but could be because of nostalgia. Haven't tried P3P). I love this, i've been really hoping for more merch of Yukari but it mostly seems like they are doing MC and Aigis but maybe if these side projects do good enough

I'm pretty close to beating Neon White, so far really fun game. I try to get the gift and a diamond rank each stage. Afterwards i wanna play a RPG. I'm choosing between Metaphor and Fantasy life.

Also last week i forgot to mention i played Miss Kobayashi's Dragon maid Chorogon Breath. It's fine. And finally an ACNH art update.... Red didn't show up. Very sadge.

The only rhythm games i'm good at are the persona ones. Tried miku and cadence of hyrule but neither grabbed me.

Actually Link is just one of those guys that goes to store in his pyjama. He never changes into his regular clothes.

Played it a bit but didn't get into it. But i will miss the fanart of all of the costumes. Hopefully some will be brought to worlds!

I remember it first launching in the states and a week later officialy in Europe. However nothing was stopping people from downloading an APK file. That day i walked around my neighbourhood. There were many others who also did that. I distincly remember catching a Vaporeon and telling a group of strangers that then ran towards it's location.

Also when the game launched there wasn't a banned wordslist for pokemon names. I still have a Seel named after a certain body part and yes it's massive

I mean yeah.... Nintendo has tons of popular good franchises. They genuinely have a franchise for almost everybody.

Although i wonder if companies like inteligent systems (fire emblen) or monolithsoft (xenoblade) fell under the nintendo umbrella in this poll

I prefer the European art. The US looks too to busy for me, like the birds are just standing on nothing. The EU's looks nicer all the characters are in poses that don't look weird

I don't have anything planned for the weekend. But this week i beat Deedlit in Wonderlabyrinth. Really good but short medtroidvania. I nearly cried at the ending...

After that i played the new MKW races. Both pretty fun but it only took a couple tries to beat. And finally i played Vampire Savior in the Darkstalkers series. A fighting game. I suck at it but i like the designs so i will try to play more.

I'm not really a movie guy but i would love something like a Fire Emblem anime (that's more than a 2 episode OVA atleast). Be it an original fantasy war story using Fire Emblem name and iconography or an adaptation of one of the games.

Although there aren't many good game to show adaptations but y'know i can dream

Maybe if it's an original story but even then my hope and expectations are very low. And any adaptation of a japanese work talking about problems with japanese society should probably have more japanese people on it than one sega exec.

Netflix has previously stated they make content with the assumption that people are half paying attention whilst doing stuff on their phones. Which makes the writing way worse.

It will probably be fire emblem, i just know myself on this. I haven't really played anything new this year. If older stuff counts i played through the Apollo Justice trilogy and Trails in the sky First Chapter.

(I guess Trails in the sky second chapter also has chance of becoming the GOTY (both are also releasing on 17 sep))

I started playing Deedlit in Wonderlabyrinth. It's a great medtroidvania more vania than medtroid though. Clearly very inspired by SotN. You can block certain elemental attacks by switching between air and fire magic, kinda like Ikaruga.

Also i finished the Spyro trilogy. First game was kinda whatever not bad but not good. Second was better but still like 6.5/10 at best for me. And 3 i just didn't like, the animal friends weren't fun to play with exception to the monkey that was alright. Also 3 had a cute story with Bianca and Hunter this is my only positive with this game.
In all 3 games i didn't really like controlling spyro either. His glide made it so there weren't many platforming challenges and i didn't like his attacks fire breath but most enemies have metal to protect them or dash into them. To add to this it annoyed me that some pots couldn't be fire breathed and had to be dashed. I also never got used to the swimming controls, i found it difficult to see where i was going. And finally i don't like the speedways, i ended up avoiding them like the plague.

And finally i'm still collecting the artworks in ACNH only need the Worthy Painting and the Statue of Nike. But red didn't show up this week so very sadge. And even when he does show up he really wants me to buy more Jolly Paintings

Should've been like half the price! These things are just collectibles, there better looking figures for that price. You can play both games on modern platforms easily so it's not even a chance at an exclusive/rare game or something

Well that doesn't sound good for the other revivals. Although i feel like anyone could've predicted the sonic kart racer wouldn't sell well against mariokart

I'm at the last game of the Spyro trilogy. IMO the first game is fine but nothing that interesting. 2 was better but i don't want to 100% it (finished the game at 68% and i feel done with it). I've only played 2 stages of 3 so an actual review will have to wait first impressions are more of the same from 2.

After this i will play either Neon White or Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. Both for the first time

I played the N64 game on Wii U. I thought it was good but i won't replay it. May as well wait for the remake.

I really hope they show more designs. Link's has me feeling kinda lukewarm on the whole remake. Not bad but kinda ehh

@JohnnyMind That's really interesting. I'm the type to play a single game until it's done. I do have some small games i play with the big game like ACNH because i want all the paintings but that takes a couple minutes per day at most. Like you said different people have different preferences on how they want to play! Thanks for the reply!

@JohnnyMind How do you schedule your games? Do you play each for a bit and then play something else? Personally i tend to only play one big game at a time and for hours a time. So seeing you play Fantasy life, Xenoblade X and Gaurdians of Azuma at the same time seems foreign to me

I've been playing Spyro Reignited. So far only the first game in the trilogy. I've been enjoying it but i don't care much for the flying stages.

I beat Dragon's Crown pro two weeks ago. It was a fun 2d beatem up style game with a campy artstyle reminding me of Conan The Barbarian or Genmu Senki Leda. I really like that exaggerated style of all dudes having muscles the size of a country, girls looking like an hourglass in a dress and only three people in the world learned how to put a shirt on. I played the game as the Elf class. Because elves are cool a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶z̶e̶t̶t̶a̶i̶ ̶r̶y̶o̶u̶k̶i̶

I really hope the trailer just looks a bit goofy. Young link looks better in smash (for now i hope)
