@Pahvi and @SKTTR Lego City is a great game, it's being released as a select and for £20 you won't look back.

I am tempted with Yoshi's Story! but I've read it's pretty easy so I might not bother with it.
I read on Nintendo life that the big N were releasing a select series on Wii-U and that one of the titles would be New Luigi bros, I preordered it and discovered that New Super Mario bros would include Luigi. I thought this was a great buy and preordered, I thought this would be a standalone game as it got a standalone release. I'm a tad annoyed as I bought NSMb when it first came out and paid £40 for it, it wasn't sealed but it came from at the time a well trusted store! paying £20 now is good enough for me and on one site I saw it for £18.... but I didn't fancy paying for the postage and lose out on the loyality points elsewhere.

When did they discontinue the Wii-Mini?

I wonder if Nintendo will make a different Wii-U like they did with the Wii Mini?

Lets hope Nxt will play Wii-U games....

New Super Luigi U for me, I've got all the other ones when they were full price. Just have to wait for pre-ordering to start.

I am a tad disappointed that Super Mario All Stars isn't part of that list but never mind, perhaps it sells better in the U.S.

I pre-ordered this when I was able to and got it for a real bargain! that included soundtrack and amiibo. I havn't had the chance to play it yet but I'm looking forward to do so.

Yeah sounds good, I've heard this game is quite hard.

This brought a smile to my face when I came home and read this, however II gotta start playing the 3ds versions. They are on my 'to play' list.

When I first read this I was really annoyed....

Then I thought about it and cant think of anything worse than playing Super Mario World on a tiny screen, Pilot Wings and F-zero would be pretty fun though but then I'm not in a position to buy the 'new' 3DS.

I'm hoping Super Mario All Stars gets a UK 'selects' release, I know it came out in 2010 even so I'd be very happy.

@Shy_Guy it looks as though the Amazon version does come with the soundtrack, it says so in the blurb. Interesting how much I'll pay for this, it's advertised at £42.00 but on my open order list it's £35.85! I'm not the only person who has said that.

@MrGawain interesting you said that, as I was there once and two co-workers were saying that the other had their hours cut in front of his very eyes. His words not mine! I have seen people buy systems in there and I normally spend a small fortune in there whenever I'm lucky enough to go to NYC (I live in the UK, so going there is quite expensive for us)
Nintendo probably foots the bill for the rent, pay all running costs and maybe, just maybe what money it does take pays for the workers there.

Does anyone know what's the merchandise like nowadays? I went last year and felt a little disappointed with it but I think Nintendo do an excellent job there promoting games, I played a game in there Elliot Quest and when I got home I downloaded it on the Wii-U! had I not had seen it I wouldn't have downloaded it. If funding allows for it, I'd love to go back next year or the year after if not. Thank You Nintendo Life for covering it, I hoped you would and you guys have.

I really like the store, the staff are pretty friendly. I have been lucky enough to visit the store five times. It was apart from getting to the hotel the first place I go to when I go to NYC, I'd love one to open in London. I'd really like to see what the store looks like after it's remodel, including the merchandise.

This pad I've seen around online (it even made it to the mail online) from what I've read it could a 3D system!

I might have said it once before but if it not I'll say it if it wasn't for the VC service I probably wouldn't have bought a Wii, had I not bought a Wii or I wouldn't have bought a Wii-U. I am a keen, big supporter of VC.

I'll check that I can do the upgrade (if I downloaded this from Wii VC and transferred to Wii-U I should do)

@RainbowGazelle the manager at game reckons there will be standalone amiibo's but if you can get amiibo and a cd soundtrack for a decent price, I'd get that....

I bet they do Wii-U bundles as Zelda is 25 this year.

To be a fiver for an amiibo and a cd soundtrack is a good deal.

I don't get it the limited edition can be pre-ordered on amazon for £44.99, on my order list it's being listed as £35.85 just like @Jezebel95 has said. I think amazon have made a mistake!

I'm hoping for Sonic 1 remastered in HD! I am also hoping for a nice Sonic Collection to be released on Wii-U but it includes a Megadrive controller!
Sega can release next gen Sonic games on the next gen consoles....

I quite the Nintendo Store in New York, I've been lucky to go there. I last went there April 2015 and felt that it could have sold more exclusive merchandise, I wish it well and hope they will one day open in London!

I have heard that there is a big difference between the old 3DS and now the new one, one online video I watched says that the older one is unplayable!

I will get one if they price drop it, all though £130.00 isn't a bad price but I'd definitely get one if it went to £80- £90 someday.

Lets wait till E3 thats when Nintendo might reveal Nxt, I hope the console is called the Nintendo 7.

The large Yoshi yarn is quite expensive, I bought three Splatoon amiibo's for the price of one Yoshi! I also bought a T shirt as it was all ready in my basket! looking forward to the amiibo's arriving.

I hope this does get an European release, it's been a while coming!

It won't cost £70.00 in the UK though will it? more like £90.00, the Wii-U has been out all most 3 years and this has taken too long to come out. If it makes it to the UK I'll pick one up but I'd love it if (it won't happen) if the B,A X and Y are the same colours as the SNES European controller were / are. They did it with the new 3DS!

Also It will be nice if they did release a separate Wii-U pad if it's bundled with an adapter!

I enjoyed playing Power tennis on the Wii but I can't justify spending £40.00 on this game, I think if I was to pick up for £15.00 - £20.00 I'll be happy.

I bought one of these boxes, I think what would have been nice would have been a free download code for Super Mario bros.

Nintendo sent me an email that the direct starts at 10pm UK time and come Thursday by the time I get home from work (unless I go out) I will miss some of the direct, doesn't matter. I can catch up on Nintendo life and then the next day the repeat might be repeated on youtube or whatever.

I reckon if they don't mention Zelda Twilight Princess HD it won't happen.

I remember I was reading N Gamer and they had a feature about a website that featured screen shots of the Wii VC but for some reason I couldn't find it in the magazine but I did google it. Anyway I stumbled across N.L and I would go on the site every thursday / friday to see what great games were put up on the Wii VC service. Nowadays I visit every day, Well done guys!

I am tempted but I've seen this game on the Game, Nintendo store and Amazon for £40.00 even if I wanted this for Christmas and got it I think it's a tad unfair to expect someone else to pay that price for it. If the game came out at £25.00- £30 I'd be tempted, I enjoyed Mario tennis on the wii that was pretty cool. I think I'll wait for a price drop first.

It'll be interesting when / if Nintendo does a direct and this gets announced, I hope the HD title if the rumour is true gets a physical release and the retail price is reasonable. I won't download it as I think it will take a lot of memory.

I downloaded these when they first came out, in fact the day I got my Wii I downloaded Sonic 1 and the day 2 came out I did the same. It's a real shame that they are being pulled from that service. So does that mean the Mastersystem versions will come off soon then?

I downloaded this the other night and enjoyed playing it.

The lead up to Christmas Nintendo will do well selling these bundles, I think if there are people thinking 'shall I buy a Wii-U? I don't know' I'd say now is the time to buy one and if you don pick one up you won't regret it. If the pack was Splatoon and Mario Party 10 I would have been annoyed as I recently bought a Brawl bundle with a physical copy and it's the white edition.I have two now one for the lounge and for the spare room.

I can't believe no nice discounts on any Super Mario games still but I'm not that bothered....

As long as my Wii works with Super Mario All Stars I'm happy.

I would have bought this game if it wasn't £40.00, if it was £35.00 it would be more tempting.

I'd like to know how many wii-u Super Mario maker console bundles they sold. Wanted to get one but it didn't feel limited edtion enough for me so I didn't bother. As I've all ready have one.
