The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD has a limited edition of sorts, although for some reason the box doesn't describe it so. Nevertheless we've done out best to crack open this box of tricks and see what's inside.
We managed to get our hands on the EU version to the surprise of no one, which comes bundled with the game, the Wolf Link amiibo, and a soundtrack CD as an added bonus. If you'd like to see any of these items emerge from their packaging then you'd be hard pushed to find a more appropriate video on this article than the one below, so make sure you check it out.

the amiibo keeps on evolving on the quality department as I see
Can't wait for this next week.. yay!
You said you wondered what else the amiibo would be compatible with. I believe you forgot to say The Legend of Zelda (Tentative Title).
I have slowed down on Amiibo collecting, but with the recent Shovel Knight and Wolf Link, they have to be some of my favorites. Can't wait to play this game and display the Amiibo proudly!
Hoping us Americans get a standard jewel case for our CD, and not a paper sleeve that I suspect we'll end up with.
I am getting more and more hyped I cannot lie. Been so long since I last played TP and this will certainly be a treat!!
Great unboxing as usual! I've dumped my Special Edition for the regular one as I don't really like the amiibo and don't care for soundtrack CDs, but nice to see it's turned out well for those into that.
I bought and am playing Wind Waker HD in anticipation for Twilight Princess HD. I'll be getting the game and amiibo bundle, no cd. I haven't heard of Canada getting that version, just the game alone, and game with amiibo.
"Something a little more celery-related."
I love this video - nice job and hat!
I find this guy grating, don't know what it is. Sorry Alex
beautiful, just beautiful
*sobs uncontrollably
Also, I love Alex's voice. (^_^ )
Every time I watch these videos I grow more and more envious of the colourful canvas pictures behind you.
So is Americans get a jewel case for the cd? : (
Oh well at least we don't have those hideous hideous ratings on the boxes. Yikes!
@Kobeskillz @mjharper Not only do promotional images suggest we Americans have to settle for a sleeve, but the CD is apparently a Gamestop exclusive on this side of the pond.
It's super lame
Is the cd included in the US release, too? Dang it, I just canceled my preorder!
@Crimzonlogic Only at Gamestop
Looks good! That has to be one of the best amiibos released to date. I do hate how you've got to destroy the packaging to open it - as with Yoshi's Wooly World, Super Mario Maker and everything else!
Whoa, that was rather brutal! Alex, the Ricky Gervais of games unboxing.😝
It's weird how across all companies, North America seems to miss out on proper packaging for pack-in games. I don't know about the 16-bit era, or even the 32-bit era as I wasn't really online and interacting with gamers on that side of the pond back then, but the first time I remember really noticing it was the free Spider-Man 2 UMD that came with the PSP, and then Wii Sports that was packed in with the Wii. Over here we got it in proper packaging like a solo release, and over there, it's just discs in paper sleeves. So weird.
Wolf Link amiibo is going to work with Zelda U/NX as well.
I can't wait until it comes in the mail! Too bad the CD won't come with it,since I ordered mine from Amazon.
@Shy_Guy it looks as though the Amazon version does come with the soundtrack, it says so in the blurb. Interesting how much I'll pay for this, it's advertised at £42.00 but on my open order list it's £35.85! I'm not the only person who has said that.
Oh, I've just had a thought! I wonder if you can use the G.C controller? !!
@Pj1 - Looks like that is showing you the price without VAT.
Just had a look at my Amazon pre order and its £35.83 + VAT...
Never played Twilight Princess on either GameCube or Wii, so gonna be a completely new game for me, the same way that WindWaker HD was. In 26 years of gaming, Zelda was pretty much the only Nintendo franchise/IP that I never jumped on board with for whatever reason until WW HD came out and I loved that, so hopefully gonna enjoy this. GAME has standard edition for £40.00 or the limited edition for £43.00, so for £3.00 extra it's worth it for all the extras. Quite odd really, as these sort of editions are usually £10-£15 more than just the game, which is why I never bother with them; all I really want is the game at the end of the day.
@SmithJurd Oh the VAT, if its 20% then the game will be charged at £42.00. Do'h.
