I bet they will tease a big Super Mario game, however they will announce it as a separate direct. I might be wrong though, however Super Mario is 40 years old this year.

It will probably be Mario Maker 3 and a 2D All star style release of the Wii and DS games.

No Switch 2 at launch, I'm hoping to save up for one and get it next year.

I have pre-ordered the Gamecube controller, I'll be pleased with that. Yes I know it doesn't work with Switch 1

@SuperBro64 Yes, sept Game are really going down the pan. I dunno about Gamestop, I read on google that there are Gamestops in Ireland.

I'm not getting Switch 2 at launch, I'm going to save up and buy one in April next year. By then there should be a good 3D Super Mario game!

@ManaOwls I kinda agree with you, however I really like the new pro-controller and a wireless Game Cube one. I can't believe also they want to charge people for the 'game' that shows you how it all works....

Whilst I'm excited about Switch 2 I'm holding off until they release it with a Super Mario bundle....

To cut a long story short, I thought I missed the chance to pre-order this. Then received an email so that I could pre-order, it needed a code to get started and it was being sent to 'junk'

Anyways I've got my order in and I am pleased as Nintendo hasn't taken the money upfront....

Day 1 for me, I ordered this over the new Mario game!

@Kazman2007 Back in the day only Europe and America saw releases of Super Mario All Stars with Super Mario World on the se cartridge. It was not released in Japan so that's probably it didn't get reissued.

I love this game, it's great! I traded in a Megadrive to get a Snes that was bundled with SMAS!

I hope one day the publishers and Disney allow for re-release collection type game.

@johnedwin What's the chances that the Japanese Mega Drive 2 you can put language settings in for English?

I hope M3 works on this like they did with the first one, I'm happy that it will come out with Desert Strike though, now I've got to keep an eye out for when pre-orders go live. I'm sure Nintendo Life will let us know.

I am hoping for a release in the U.K (Europe) I was very tempted to order one from over seas, however as a youtuber pointed out the games may not be in English.

No Sega Megadrive controllers for the U.K yet

Looking forward in playing Sonic 2 to see how that emulates on this platform and playing a few street levels of Streets of rage 2. I'm really looking forward to ordering the wireless Megadrive controller too or I might try using the one from the MD mini....

In some ways this is a good deal, it works out to be about £2.92 a month! if you think how much each game would cost on a VC-Service individually then its about choice. However with the VC service you got to keep the games rather than just 'rent' them...

Can't pre-order Mega Drive controllers in the UK yet

I would love for all the mentioned games to make an appearance on Switch online, playing Simcity in handheld mode would be crazy!

Such a shame in a way, I would love to pre-order but I can't justify the purchase. It's nice though.

Don't forget the NES and SNES controllers made a nice appearance too.

My favourite games Super Mario World and All stars, Mario Kart and Pilot Wings get a mention from me too.
