@LEGEND_MARIOID Yeah, totally! I also tend to find the reviews here to align with my own, which is good.
The problem for me is, some of those more negative reviews are also from sites I find useful.

I've read quite a few reviews from different sites and this one seems to skip over how it seems to have a really forced, linear path that doesn't respect the player's time. Quite a few reputable sites have this sitting closer to 60-70%, which isn't great.
I'm really unsure, kinda sad really, might skip this one (which I didn't expect to be saying).
I'll wait and see what some others say...

@SBandy1 I didn’t either, it looked really basic but… I tried it today and it really isn’t basic 😅

Although I’m old enough, I never played the original. It really doesn’t look great unless you have played the original maybe?
Looks weird to me but I’m still interested as people seem to have high expectations!

This seemed totally awful to me on Switch 2 (yes, I’m aware it’s the same as the OG).
Maybe it will be OK once they update it for the new hardware, although the controls felt horrible to me, it’s all so light and floaty.
I loved All Stars but don’t know if it handled the same.

Oh well. I thought the left looked better than the right until I noticed that the right was ‘new’.
Just shows how much of an improvement it is 😂
(Maybe because I’m on a phone though.)

I expect very little. The last ‘reveal’ was clearly super rushed.
My expectations have never been lower, and I think that’s a good start 😂

@garfreek I needed around 400 rupees and maybe 15-20 peppers for the first dungeon, it wasn’t so bad 🙂

I wasn’t mega impressed. I’d agree with NL’s review too. Almost no storyline, not really very funny (it had a few great moments).
There were some really great parts but few and far between.

Glad I saw it and I don’t feel it was a waste of money. It was kind of a waste of a fantastic opportunity though.

At least our kids adored it!

I finally took the plunge this week, purely for Wave Race and Pilotwings.
I wish I could get a refund on the MK booster pack as I’ve kinda paid twice 🤦‍♂️
Still though, I think it’s OK value. This becomes a definite with the family plan!

I’ll give this a go after Journey to the Savage Planet (which I’m enjoying!), although I’m not sure I’ll enjoy the lack of goals? Maybe I’m wrong in how it’s structured though.

I’ve played through it twice now and had no idea about this. I still wondered what the dragons were for 😂

I think the Switch has already sold 5x the GameCube, so a far smaller portion of the user base picked up Dread…

If I didn’t see the screenshots it would sound exactly like my type of game, I’ve needed a good RPG since Dragon Quest! I’ll just have to try but maybe not full price…

I have no idea what to make of this. I’m all for a great JRPG but this just looks so bland? I’ve never played any of these games before though and don’t really get the appeal.
Worth a punt if I generally like JRPG’s?!

I wish they didn’t include the ACNH stuff, this is really irritating.
I’d probably have been happy with the price without it included even! Now I feel reluctant as it’s something I’m paying for but would never use.

Only option is to find some people to club together with for a family/friends membership.
Or wait for the N64 games I really want to play… I’ve gone from a definite, to a likely no.
