It's a nice upgrade but the prices on all things Switch 2 will definitely be it's Achilles Heel. That and it seems the new joycons are built the same as the old ones which will mean drift again after a year or two. If you have the money for it, it's fun but certainly not Nintendo at their best

I'm having fun but the loading screens and cuts to black are definitely annoying. Ruins the flow of the game. Hopefully there's a patch for Switch 2 that speeds this up a bit

@PikaPhantom I feel like that's what Nintendo has been drifting towards for a while. Making their franchises more generic with the branding and designs. Don't get me wrong, the new Mario games announced today look awesome but Mario RPG looks a little to much like "Modern Mario" in terms of character design. Still hyped for them but not happy that we are losing unique looking designs and artwork from established franchises

Excited for the launch of this game but I hope her VA chops have improved. I found Zeldas voice like nails on a chalkboard. Almost like Shay Cormack from AC Rogue

Well that is very sad to hear for the people that had paid and were waiting on their games from them. But I will always have a soft spot for them localizing Soldam on Switch. Such a great little game. Hopefully the customers at least their money back at some point

@talllennart I know, I'm saying I feel bad for playing picross on my OLED because the puzzles stay on the screen for a long time depending how much you play, especially the bigger ones

I hate playing picross on my OLED for this reason but at the same time, I play other things so I shouldn't be too concerned

Anyone else notice some of the music in the museum even has the wrong name or description for them. Like Sonic 3D Blast's menu music is labeled as invincibility music??

I've noticed many bugs like others have pointed out. The boss in Carnival Night Act 1 is bugged. Standing on the floor as the floor lands killed me. As a hardcore Sonic fan, I am beyond done with Sega butchering simple things like re releases of these old games. But I'm also pretty done voicing my issues because there's just as many people willing to shrug it off and say go play something or say to stop being "negative" or "toxic". Headcannon did a great job, Sega not much. Anyways, fix that music Sega. Holy cow the last few stages of Sonic 3 sound like a generic Geneis game and that super music sounds like it came from Sonic 4!

The next Switch NEEDS to be backwards compatible. There are too many games that are tied to my account that will die on Switch if Nintendo decides to keep up with their lackluster online service and backcompat policy. And honestly, the joycons gotta go or get a major design overhaul. The Switch 2 could be the easiest win for Nintendo but history has taught me to be weary with them. Time will tell

Sega seriously wants to mar Orgins existence before it's even released. With the beauty of a pre-order chart and delisting games they have no good reason too. God I hate being a Sonic fan some days because of all the crap this company pulls for this series

I'm liking what I see. Too many humans from the first movie that were fluff to begin with but maybe their roles are reduced? Still psyched to see the Sonic and Knuckles confrontation along with more witty Sonic/Eggman banter

Man this poster just got me hyped! I remember when people at the theater lost it when Tails showed up at the end of the first movie. Hopefully restrictions will loosen up around that time otherwise I'll have to sail the high seas, I'm not waiting a second for this! I'm looking forward to TGA exclusively because of the Sonic news so Sega, don't let us down 🙂

This cart never left my N64 for months. Addicting as hell for single player and the 4 player modes were a blast as well. I agree, this review looks pretty pants when compared to other recent Dr. Mario reviews on this site. Stop saying "we" when it obviously doesn't reflect other people's opinions. Mama mia!

@Pokester99 I hear you, it still feels like the Switch is in beta or something but it's pretty clear now Nintendo is happy with what it is. 5 years though wow, what a ride. I remember when the 3DS hit that milestone and it felt like forever. The passage of time is cruel 🥲

Most of the cast seems decent with the exception of Seth Roagn imo but I agree with most, there are plenty of capable actors out there with better chops than the same ones we always seem to get. But we haven't seen it yet so I guess judgment can be reserved till then

Allow me to shill for the 2017 game for a second. If your looking for something different than Tetris or Puyo Puyo, this might scratch your puzzler itch. The music and art style are also a treat, really reminds me of a budget N64/Dreamcast game

This sounds really great, especially for most people. But I'm totally turned off by the NES/SNES offerings almost purely because they are tied to the sub. I would like to buy the game and have it on the menu. Knowing I "own" the game is weirdly satisfying and compells me to play it. The reason why I still play VC on 3DS over NSO any day

So glad this is happening at some point! To fix the hole that is multiplayer, they should add an online matchmaking service of some sort for the collection as multiplayer was the best part of these games

I'm liking this direction. Less Tom and Maddy is good in my books. Especially Maddy. Her role in the previous movie felt like unnecessary fluff in a movie that already had lots of it, and the actress really didn't seem to want to be there imo

I will check my copy when I get home later. As for potential fixes, my copy of Smash 3DS didn't work for ages until I went on the eshop and repaired the software from the product page. That may or may not solve the issue!

@Giygas_95 DuckDuckGo hides all ads and is what I've been using for over a year. But yes, I used to get those ads on here too and I swear I never looked anything like that up 🤣

Cool. Netflix keeps bugging me to rejoin and this is the show to do it. But I really hope season 4 is better than the last. The first two were pretty great

Sigh, brave move Capcom. Honestly, like @AtlanteanMan said, if it really is a big deal for these companies to bend over backwards to do stuff like this, at least give players the option. I bet their analytics team would find out most people would play with "offensive material" on.

That's really great that M2 did all of this, especially since they have moved on from this series. Kudos to them. But I could never find a match of Puyo Puyo for the life of me so I wonder was it really all that worth it 🤣

Im glad we are finally seeing some improvements here. I was starting to worry this would turn into another long waiting game like Doom Eternal. From what I've seen, the upgrades looks pretty substantial so I'm amped to give this game another go. Otherwise, it can wait till Series X and I'll replay it there, upgraded

Imagine, Nintendo could actually make a clip on that simulates a d-pad for existing sets and release an alternate Joycon with a proper one built in. But I guess with how unbothered they seem with their current Joycon problems, it's just a pipe dream

I would play wired, if Nintendo would catch up to the rest of the industry. Add a ethernet port to your docks Nintendo. It's not 1999 anymore!

After playing a few matches, I'm pretty sure Nintendo will be keeping this up after it's planned removal. It's a game rife for updates. When your down to the last 3 players, things get real sweaty. Good luck to everyone playing

It would be great if Nintendo could update the 3DS to somehow lift the game limit. I am at peak capacity and have plenty left undownloaded. I would love to toss more money at Nintendo thru my 3DS but that's just the way she goes, boys

@tourjeff I had never really fully delved into a game like this before and was really digging the Switch port but the minute I played it on Xbox, I never went back. The loading and lack of detail killed it for me after that. But overall, if you don't mind those nitpicks, the game is really entertaining if you dig the idea of Fallout on Switch

Get out of here Sega. What is it with you re-releasing old content under a brand then pulling a 180? Sega Forever (if I'm not mistaken) and Sega Ages now. I thought there were more games coming. Time to regroup and figure out how you can re-release Sonic 1 and 2 for the 1000th time

The next gen upgrade and DLC plans were the nail in the coffin for the Switch version for me. I was really looking forward to double dipping on Switch but with no news on it this late in the game, I don't really care much at this point. Though can't wait to see how well it pushes the Switch!
