The only way the name won't get super confusing for consumers, is if MS forgoes multi generation versions of games (COD Ghosts for example. They could in theory, have a disc that has the Xbox One version and the Series X version, even if an update was required for the Series X, it would still be viable and less worrying for consumers. But yes, Microsoft change the goddamn name while you still have time!

Hate the name, love the concept. Not sure if I'm sold on the design but I'll still get it day one. Really pumped for next gen!

Gotta jump back in on this. First on PS3 because why not. Then probably for real on Xbox or 3DS. Kudos to Yacht Club for supporting all platforms as much as they have this far in the game

Now these are good games. More so the NES lineup for once imo. If only they picked up the slack elsewhere. But this is good news all around

@Incoherent1 It took me many years to finally decide to move past the triforce quest but once I did and finished the game, oooohh baby, it finally clicked. Wind Waker is one of my favorites now too

Nioce! Just got me a Wind Waker HD bundle boxed the other day. Been in a Wii U mood lately and wanted a less damaged system then my own. New Wii U games are always cool in my book

Nintendo literally exits in their own little bubble. It's quite boggling when you think about it. But I guess in some way, we all know that because we're all here

Also, what's up with Club Nintendo in NA. It's been stagnant for months as well. Reminds me when Nintendo put the Wii VC in hibernation for a few years then finally brought it back with a huge dump of demos. At the end of it's natural life. Nintendo is probably playing the waiting game like before.

@hcfwesker it most likely is. The Xbox version only has a handful of people playing and that's after it was free last month. Was pretty fun with a headset and some friends.

@Dirty0814 I'm not saying the Wii U doesn't have sales. I'm sure many games are on sale, usually the same ones, such as Rainbow Snake. But I meant bigger games like Mario U or something. And yeah, the PS3 not so much recently but every week, Microsoft updates the 360 deals section. Even with games that aren't backwards compatible on the One. And when they have a huge Xbox platform sale, they do usually update the 360 storefront page to reflect that

I wonder why this would be? Well, the disc is out there so no big loss. Guess we may never know 🤔 It perplexes me why Ninte do never had any sales on Wii U. Yeah the numbers can't be high on the eShop now but the 360 and PS3 still get killer sales on all manner of titles big and small. Nintendo could have milked the Wii U a bit more the last few years. I would have been happy buying games for 50% off rather than full fat price. It couldn't have cut into Switch sales of Wii U ports in a meaningful way so that excuse shouldn't fly. Oh well, Nintendo be Nintendo

This is still sitting on my dashboard from last year, I really need to start it now. Good to hear Microsoft is still bringing goodies over to Switch

My launch 3DS has no stoppers on the top screen causing the screen to come in contact with the bottom and scratching it making 3D painful to view. Then an XL of mine had a few dead pixels. I've also had a few faulty joycons that got replaced. So yeah, they could be doing better in terms of building a sturdy system without glaring flaws but then again, the built to last mantra many companies had years ago is long gone imo

Maybe this is what gets me back into the game

It just got a notification via Spotpass saying it will be removed from the eshop in August. I'm in Canada so I'm assuming this is for all North Americans

@hadrian I know, that's what I love about the game. The back of the box touts CD quality sound and it does have that 90's CD game kind of sound to it, it's tense and definitely sets the mood. Oh and the intro is pretty cool too

@electrolite77 Your right, it probably wouldn't. Especially since there isn't any marketable differences besides longer battery life due to a chip change but in this case, there is a decent reason why they could. The amount of stability updates the Switch has received over everything else 2 years in, you'd think they'd be on board with replacements

That's nice but for existing owners of the model, which is everyone, they should at least have a short-ish window where owners can send their unit in for a replacement unit. It's a win win, Nintendo knows less hackable units are out there, and eligible consumers get a longer lasting battery that "silently" got released

After abandoning their players who bought the game for what, $30 at launch, almost 2 years ago, there better be something waiting for us as an apology. Otherwise this is just another space filler on my Switch. The game has been way past dead for almost those 2 years. We got a mediocre third person shooter that was always empty with no players. Would be nice to get SOMETHING in return as a sorry

Seems a bit "lite" on the features, including being able to dock but at least there's a date. Hopefully they implement a system transfer tool to make jumping from one Switch to the next, seamless for owners

Game freak is in full recycle mode. Honestly, the games are rushed and it sickens me. Another generation of removed features to make way for new ones that will only show up in these games. Game Freak is developing these games as well as Town. Why I don't know they would split development across two projects when Pokemon is always being churned out on schedule. The series is falling into the trap many companies walk themselves into. Pokemon is a multi billion dollar brand and The Pokemon Company will milk it every way it can now that it's not afraid to step into the mobile market. Look at Pokemon Masters. I saw more in that game that would have been promising to see in S&S but alas, all we get is what's been given and some corprate excuses as to why core features are being removed instead of being upfront. First time ever I'll be skipping a generation day one. Maybe one day when the game is on sale I shall try it

@Cheez yeah, look at Captain Toad on Switch, the game was copy and pasted and when you scan an amiibo, the little screen effect goes off where the NFC tab was on the Wii U Gamepad

Hopefully the bluray comes with those R rated lines that were recorded for the movie

We'll probably get an Adventure remake which would be great but like most recent sonic games, they would probably tackle that with the lighter tone of the series with its canon/not canon shenanigans we've seen pretty much since Colors. That or Generations 2 is the safest bet for a 30th anniversary game imo
