Honestly, if Nintendo dropped the price of the 2DS line another $30-$40, as well as dropping prices for games aggressively akin to Sony and Microsoft, the 3DS would probably get an extra few years of extra oomph in it. Just push a few sales and slash some prices and the odd new bundle and boom, sold. Even in 2019, a New 2DS bundle with Minecraft would probably spark sales a bit

Yeah that's nice as long as they don't hold out (or cut out) content to add in later as dlc like oh so many developers do these days. Kirby and Mario Tennis are perfect examples of this

Yes, if Nintendo actually put some effort into it, and not just slapped it on like other parts of the Switch, it could work. Put a 'Nintendo' spin on achievements, like earning stars and coins or other recognizable Nintendo symbols as the tiers of achievements or something. Going a step further, they could integrate them into My Nintendo and make them another way to earn and purchase rewards because that's another sector Nintendo is lagging on, their reward site. Especially in Club Nintendo's shadow. So many routes they could take to make the acheivment system interesting and appealing to gamers on Switch and Nintendo's mobile ventures but oh well. Nintendoes what Ninten does

Neat little reference. I enjoy my VB in short bursts when the screen isn't bugging out. Would have loved to see some games reworked as 3D classics on 3DS

@RupeeClock I believe it was Big Hero 6 on the DS in 2014. Not the best "final" game there ever was. Looked like a slapped together release you'd expect to see from early 05 on the DS

Why would they do that when the series is known for repeat releases. The next game will probably be a safe sequel that adds a few things this game desperately needed such as more boards or at least more interesting ones. Probably gonna be called New Super Mario Party

Would have been cool to see it released for 3DS for parity sake as I prefer that version to the Switch version. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. This DLC was obviously planned out in advance so I wonder why cut it from the 3DS though when they already built the game from the ground up for 3DS

Still waiting on Battle Princess Madelyn for Wii U but this should fill the void. After that, yeah my Wii U will probably collect dust. My Wii gets more use that than my Wii U. Funny how that works

@thesilverbrick I was thinking the exact same. Both Paper Mario 1&2 would have been far better candidates and probably would have sold better, even on the 3DS. Though I am enjoying the remake, you can tell corners were cut and I have to wonder what was even the point for this one

Sniper Elite V2 was a brilliant game on 360. Probably will get it on Switch and Xbox One X. SE3/4 just didn't resonate with me. Not sure why but glad the third is coming to Switch as well
