Update: [Mon 12th Sep, 2022 11:00 BST] - As promised, Dispatch Games has provided a bit more context around what the heck is happening with both the company itself and its products. It's not a particularly comforting update, granted, but at least it's not silence.
Chiefly, Dispatch’s “revoked” status as a company is addressed, as previously highlighted in the original article below. It states that this is a "paperwork issue" and "should clear by next week" (at the time of writing, nothing has been updated as of yet, so it's still labelled as either "revoked" or "suspended"):
Elsewhere, the company has provided an update around its products, posting a series of photos to seemingly prove that, yes, these games are in fact real and still in production. Indeed, Dispatch Games repeatedly announces that its products are currently "in the warehouse", but consistently stops short of providing any update around a potential release date or window. They're in the warehouse though, folks, rest assured..!
In terms of why these products have been delayed for so long is still up in the air. Dispatch Games provides loose reasonings such as "supplier issues" and "material contrainsts", but again, it fails to provide any meaningful reassurance for the customers still waiting for their orders. History is, as they say, repeating itself.
Needless to say, we'll be keeping a close eye on Dispatch Games' Twitter page for any further updates.
Update [Fri 9th Sep, 2022 20:00 BST] - Dispatch Games has come out of the woodwork and provided a brief statement via Twitter. It promises a more indepth response at a later time today and also states it is working on releasing its games as planned.
On the off chance the tweet gets deleted at any point, it reads as follows:
"Anyone requesting a refund - [email protected]. We are going through as quickly as possible. There is so much to be said. We are working on a more detailed response to come out later today, but we are working on releasing the games."
We'll update the article with the detailed response once it's published, but the tweet certainly signifies that something is going on at Dispatch Games; though what that actually is may be anyone's guess at this point.
Original Article [Tue 6th Sep, 2022 16:30 BST]:
In what can only be described as a veritable disaster, the sorry state of limited print company Dispatch Games has apparently reached its sad and inevitable conclusion.
As highlighted by Seafoam Gaming, who has been keeping a watchful eye on the sorry situation, a posting from Tennessee state indicated that Dispatch Games is no more and that customers waiting for deliveries of physical games like Game Tengoku, Radirgy Swag, and Rail Sim simply won't get the games they paid for despite Dispatch's reassurances, most recently back in June.
Let's recap first, though. Back in 2020, we ran a feature on Dispatch Games' inability to fulfill pre-orders for its games and the apparent lack of communication with customers that followed. Social media and direct contact channels were met with utter silence from the company and fans were understandably getting mighty frustrated with the situation.
In the time since, Dispatch Games has made multiple attempts to effectively reboot its operations, going so far as to dramatically proclaim "a new day" in a Twitter post that has now, of course, been deleted, along with nearly all of its prior communication. The company did promise to send out digital codes to those waiting on pre-orders of Game Tengoku and it does seem that some people, at least, did receive these as planned.
Now, however, it looks like Dispatch Games has ceased to exist altogether, having been labelled 'inactive' via the Tennessee State website as of August 9th, 2022, due to the company's failure to pay administrative fees. This follows a similar move by the California State back in October which similarly labelled Dispatch Games as 'suspended'. While the company may yet exist in some minor capacity, all signs indicate that it has effectively ceased operations and is now a defunct entity.
So what does this mean for customers waiting for pre-orders or refunds? Well, unfortunately, chances are they probably won't be getting either. We've reached out to Dispatch Games for comment on the matter and will update this article with any response or useful information, but given the company has once again been radio silent since at least June — following repeated instances of promises followed by long periods of nothing — we're not hopeful.
The whole ordeal has proven a disaster for the company itself, but more importantly for its expectant customers. Hopefully, Dispatch Games can at least provide some sort of explanation and justify its actions, or lack thereof.
Have you been affected by the business practices of Dispatch Games? What do you think the company needs to do to set things right? Is that even possible? Let us know.

Another one bites the dust, possibly.
If they're not going to send the products or provide a refund to those who paid then they're nothing more than a bunch of thieves. Glad I never dealt with them.
I am still waiting on two DLC codes from them. Nothing major compared to those who bought collector editions of course.
If you ordered with a credit card, even through PayPal, your card company may be able to offer you a refund. I had to deal with this when Nippon-Yasan suddenly vanished off the face of the planet taking some pre-orders I had already paid for with them.
Edit: Many, however, will only give you a refund if you're within something like 3-6 months of the order OR the 'estimated ship date'. I was screwed out of one of my Nippon Yasan preorders because it was old and I wasted a lot of time waiting for it to ship. My other pre-order my CC company did refund, the order was too old, but the estimated release for the product was more recent so they allowed it.
This whole saga's been a complete s***show in customer relations/communication above all else.
I wonder if we'll ever get the whole story about it. I want to believe that it wasn't just greed and that they stole the money, but that there were unavoidable problems in the company that prevented them from even giving people their proper refund.
Jeez I can't even recall which credit card I used to buy Paradise with all those many years back. This sucks. I was lucky enough to get the download code but not that expensive physical I ordered. Jerks.
I was chasing up info on Psyviar Delta a few years back but ended up giving up and picking the Asian Version.
I must admit I have been tempted by other Shumup that they planned to release (eg.having like missed the LRG release of Game Tengoku)
But luckily I had the experience with Psyviar Delta otherwise I might been in the group of disappointed customers.
It's too bad they didn't get bought by the Embracer Group unlike Limited Run Games. They would likely been more active if they're part of something bigger instead of been a pretty much unknown entity in the limited print gaming space.
@JeanPaul Unfortunately, when a company goes flop and its assets are flipped to recover debt the company owes, its usually companies like banks that are considered higher priority for getting their money back, with customers usually placed at the bottom.
Surprisingly enough their website is still active and accepting orders.
Unfortunate situation.
But people do need to remember that business failure is not necessarily a "scam situation" as some may want to make this out to be. It is not stealing — even if it has the same effect.
Well that is very sad to hear for the people that had paid and were waiting on their games from them. But I will always have a soft spot for them localizing Soldam on Switch. Such a great little game. Hopefully the customers at least their money back at some point
Shame, I ordered two of these the instant they were available because I love shooters. The drip feed of updates about pack in items arriving to their offices kept me hanging on but frankly this isn’t a surprise.
@KingMike makes sense, after all, if you don't pay the bank, you can make jail time. Still, it's a shame for the customers, and I think for the developers too. I don't think you get into video games to make an easy dollar, you really have to like them.
I ordered both Game Paradise and Radirgy Swag like 3 years ago, it's been so bad. Man I can't believe it. This company I thought I could trust I mean I remember getting my Psyvariar Delta copy right from the shelf of GameStop. It sucks to have lost the money, I'm certainly not made of it.
Absolutely ridiculous. At minimum, they need to give out refunds. Surely not doing so opens them up for a lawsuit of some kind, right? I mean, they took money for a product they didn’t deliver.
Never trust anyone who restricts replies on twitter
Just catching up with this, real sh***y again. This happened to me before with Warned Collectors I think it was called, but I didn’t even get a chance to preorder here. Gutting cause I was hoping they would eventually deliver on Radirgy and that Paradise game.
And here's why we need to just go back to retail physical being the norm
@JeanPaul I too want to believe. Maybe it wasn't "unavoidable" but poor management and administration. In the least I hope it wasn't in bad faith
I wonder who’s gunna take up the unfinished publishing duties? inin/strictly limited seems like a likely candidate considering ninja jajamaru-Kun collection recently made a Re-appearance on their site along with English localizations for the text heavy games included
OH MY GOD IT NEVER ENDS.

LORD HELP ME.
You have to be kidding me lol
Never heard of this company before, but one way or another, I smell a class-action lawsuit in the near future. Hope the founders and/or bosses of this "company" have good lawyers handy. They're gonna need it.
I guess it was good when I complained back then about changing a order they cancelled and refunded me. But as anything they were starting with good mission but lost their way when they started to take more projects then they could support and now they are making PR stories. And the very fact the site will still take your money means they haven't been Honest what is happening and taking money right up to when they closed and take your money.
It's the Intellivision Amico all over again...
Simply "missed setting up a file that was required." 🤣🤣🤣 Along with simply forgot to ship all the games that everyone paid for months ago... Could this company be any more shambolic if it tried... Seriously, they are pathetic..
Sadly it's just more lies.
"Dispatch games", if only they would. 🤣
The jokes in the name..
That Jaleco pin just triggered the contempt I have for all their shovelware that has been dumped onto the NSO Apps in lieu of other desired titles smh Nintendon't.
... Wun can only hope.
I have no personal stake in this, but it has been a fascinating story to follow. I’m shocked the guy came back to social media at all but a few tweets and the same old photos of CE extras doesn’t inspire confidence. So many red flags here from deleting old tweets to not providing comments to media. What a fiasco. It’s definitely made me think twice about what smaller gaming companies I give my money to in the future.
@Olliemar28 @dartmonkey
Seeing as these guys only wake up when you post about them, you should do that again so they can issue refunds for games they said were shipping a year ago, which actually should've released autumn 2019.
@Olliemar28 Dispatch Games have a new Twitter post talking about shipping standard editions in August. We'll see. I assume they'll move the goalpost again after the date they've set.
