Bottom line for me is that until digital prices stop extracting the urine I'll go for whatever costs less.

Why should I pay more for a digital copy when I can just order something physical and have it arrive through my door in a couple of days for anywhere between £10 to £25+ cheaper?

Unless the rewards for buying digital end up being fantastic I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

Pokken is a rental to give it a try before even considering dropping cash on it. Even if I like it I doubt I'll pay £50 anyway.

Well... this is nice but it's a pity the abilities are kinda meh.

I'd rather they didn't bother making it canon somehow... it still screams Edgy Character Edit to me and looks like a 13 year old designed it.

Personally I still don't see any worthwhile reason to buy a new 3ds.

Slightly interested in Explorers but the gameplay I've seen looked a bit... boring... to me anyway. It's a rental then I'll decide if it's for me.

Never found them to be any better or worse at playing really... but when the majority of matches I have (ones that don't collapse into mysterious instability anyway) are with 6 or 7 Japan players the lag can't be good for anyone.

Especially when you can get killed by the person you just killed up to 5 seconds after they just exploded.

I've wanted regional matchmaking since day 1. Bloody stupid thing not to have in a game these days anyway.

I find it hard to sympathise with Nintendo when they are locking game content behind little models... so until this somehow actually leads (if it even will) to bootleg amiibos affecting actual customers I'm pretty indifferent about this amiiqo thing.

Devil's Third has me slightly interested... but that game is a definite rental to find out what it's like before even considering dropping any cash on it.

@errantrazor Thanks for the heads up but I imagine most people having issues have already tried these fairly standard remedies and had them do nothing...

I know it didn't help me anyway. I've already tweaked and reset everything tweakable and resetable and still get told my connection is apparently unstable in the vast majority of matches.

Sigh.

Edit: To clarify, I'm using wired. Did try wifi as well but, unsurprisingly, it has the exact same unstable connection issues.

Was looking forward to some less laggy games like the last Splatfest but only managed to finish maybe 6 games out of 40ish without "connection unstable" screwing me over.

I like the game but only being able to have decent games during a Splatfest is pretty annoying :/

@Donutman Yup... I was waiting on someone to blame me rather than the fact that the vast majority of matches I have are with 7 people thousands of miles away.

When I'm playing europeans (and quite a lot of people I'm assuming are americans actually) it's pretty much fine. Plus other games are nowhere near as bad.

If you don't have problems I'm genuinely happy for you... but there's a lot of folk having the same issues as me.

@Isadais Nothing at all other than the fact I lag like mad when the majority of the players in a game are japanese which seems to happen 9 times out of 10 no matter what time I play. Sick of getting killed by someone I killed up to 5 seconds before.

I'm sure they all enjoy me lagging like mad on their end too hahaha.

That's why I think the best thing about Splatfests is the fact they do it by region. Can actually have some good games

Redesign or not, unless they stick an age gate on it at some point I doubt I'll ever use it for much more than the odd drawing or asking folk if a game is good.

The kiddywinks will still act like kiddywinks and older folks will still feel like they are gonna get arrested just for being there.

I regret buying it though... glad I got it on sale. Whole thing was slow, boring and easy... and if the guy didn't move at a snail's pace the already short game length would probably have been chopped in half.

At least it looked and sounded kinda nice.

Really can't say I see the appeal of this one in the slightest... and I like Animal Crossing. Plus those cards just seem like a no effort cash milking machine.

I hope the people looking forward to it for reasons I can't fathom enjoy it though I suppose.

I imagine that EU folks having about 6 months to find out that the game was about 2-3 hours long and full of repetition probably didn't help sales.

I ended up grabbing for £3ish on Steam, I'd say it was worth it. I kinda liked the game but if I'd paid more I would have felt ripped off.

I'd probably grab one if the price is right in the EU and the quality is decent.

I'm far too stingy to pay the asking price for an official pro controller.

Kirby 64 methinks since I've never actually played it for some strange reason.

Might grab Tappingo 2 at some point as well since I found the first one surprisingly entertaining.

Welp... enjoy your fairly boring and mediocre game that may or may not have it's main gimmick Xbone folks.

I'm sure this looks incredibly interesting with things like Dying Light existing on your console.

Although this may be an unpopular opinion... maybe it would be better to spread out a release of something that will be stupidly popular across the regions by a couple of hours or so to stop the servers crapping themselves instantly.

If they don't ever intend to make the servers better anyway.

Unless there is some kind of exclusive feature in either of these versions I don't really see a need to buy this again.

One of the most boring Wii U games I've played (although it had potential) is now possibly going elsewhere... Meh.

Doubt it's gonna sell that well when far better games in the same kind of genre already exist on other consoles. The stigma of being a wii U port will follow it.

Personally the only update (that may never happen :/ ) I'm looking forward to at the mo is some regional matchmaking.

Some of the lag I've been getting has been friggin bonkers.

I'm quite into the battling scene to a degree... but this just sounds bloody boring.

Weird... I'm surprised anyone even bothers uploading videos of it.

I don't mind playing it for say half an hour a day (it's... OK...ish. Mindless button mashing is nice sometimes.) but watching someone play it would bore the hell out of me.

Rarely use Miiverse anyway, it's full of random children role playing as pokemon and I feel like I'm gonna get arrested just being there..

People seem to be really overestimating how popular Splatoon will be.

Reckon the game itself will do ok (although personally I'm not buying it without trying it in some way first) but it certainly isn't going to be the massive system seller that Nintendo seem to be hoping for.

Think I'd rather have pretty much any other Street Fighter character to be honest.

Ryu is kinda boring :/

Although I'd like to play it again I'm more inclined to wait and see if they release the DS version on WiiU.

What a let down after last week. Maybe they just want to give Space Adventures no competition.
