Wow. The Switch is such an expensive Nintendo system to have in comparison to the previous ones. 🤔 128gb SD? I have a 16 on my N3DS and it took forever to fill up.

Scribblenauts Unlimited literally allowed you to create new objects and share them in addition to the very extensive dictionary. Unless they change something, it's just not the kind of game that needs constant releases.

@Yasaal @RupeeClock @flapjack-ashley 2.0 shouldn't even count as an update as it was there from day one. But to be fair, those are mostly changes that don't affect your day-to-day use of the system. Adding friends from Wii U and 3DS, system transfer, preloading, new icons? Some are pretty big changes but they're rarely used so I can see how it would feel the same.

Right now I have the eShop Black Friday sale and My Nintendo birthday discount automatically stacking making a 51% discount on a 2017 Mario game, impressive. If only Nintendo actually did good sales.

Also, please add Switch rewards.

@PtM The redesign made it so that Miiverse required you to have a game open before posting to its community. Anyone could post in the Pokemon X&Y and ORAS communities then the redesign happens and the majority of 3DS owners can't for S&M? Even when the game isn't open you still can't post. I don't know why you're trying to defend a design decision which locks out most of the user base, Nintendo could have made the community open like the Smash Bros. one but they don't.

BTW I do have a "New" series system, I'm talking about people that don't.

@PurinPuff There is maintenance for Mario Maker planned for some time near the shutdown, probably addressing this.

The fact that posting in certain communities requires a New 2DS/3DS(XL) even if the game is available for all systems because of the way they designed the redesign. * cough * Smash Bros. * cough * Pokémon S&M.

3D wise I've only played Galaxy 1 and 2 as well as 3D Land and World. Galaxy 2 and 3DW are my favourites.

Didn't Nintendo permanently ban 3DS systems that went online with Pokémon Sun & Moon before release? They're very strict about this sort of thing.

Unfair that you can use GC controllers but no Wii ones.

This is because the Wii Remote wasn't suitable for SSBB. This is what happens when you succeed something with something seen as inferior. The old version gets stuck with a reputation for being great. It's not the only good controller.

Though It is a very versatile controller seeing as it works on everything GC forward. Cheaper than a Pro too.

I like the 3D but I only have it on sometimes depending on battery or how my eyes feel. Of course I only just upgraded to New 3DS but I'm usually playing something with no 3D. The New 3DS face tracking sometimes causes ghosting as well.

I enjoy the effect but I'm also kind of indifferent.

I don't recall gyms being all that exciting, the trials were decent except for cheapness like Totem Lurantis. I don't really get the complaints about it either. As far as I'm concerned it seems clear they will be going back to gyms in the future... I think so anyway.

Part of this negativity is probably the fact they're rereleasing such a similar looking game one year later. I love Sun & Moon so I'm looking forward to it. Strangely I'm not so sure I'm excited though. Kinda cautious.

@Pichuka97 True. There are so many comments encouraging Nintendo to abandon 3DS owners. Not very considerate.

I didn't read to the bottom, I scrolled past the patch notes.

We haven't seen the whole game so it's too soon to say if it's bad or lazy. It's the subtle changes that make remakes better.

Anyway I actually really enjoyed Sun & Moon so hopefully I'll enjoy this one too.

@BlueOcean I agree with Returns and 3D World. But I think Galaxy's surfing and ball rolling were enjoyable with motion. I suppose they could've added options though.

More features please. It's annoying that you have to go to their older systems for things like Virtual Console.

The only recent Mario game where lives actually matter is Super Mario Maker. Otherwise they're pretty unimportant.

I enjoy it but the music could be a Wii era DSi, 3DS, Wii U thing. The Switch is meant to be different. The extreme simplicity of the system could use some work though.

Mario Kart Wii, DS and 7. Had the most fun with Wii. Currently though 7 and older feel outdated so I'm most likely on 8, but I enjoyed the others more in their time.

North American Switch stock seems moderate. In stock at Walmart, Amazon, and Bestbuy for online purchase in Canada. (Grey only) Mostly out of stock in stores.

Available online in the US (Amazon, Walmart) but at scalping prices in the middle of the $300 -$400 range. In stock at BestBuy at regular price.

The stock situation is definitely improving but I’m a little weary of the holiday season.

@Nintendoforlife Why would you want a YouTube app when Nintendo's browser YouTube is better? On both the New 3DS and especially Wii U the browser's YouTube has more features than the app plus it allows you to go on YouTube without having to close your game.

Basically:
Browser with YouTube >>> poorly designed YouTube app.
