@Saego That’s fine. I’m just referring to the “just die already” and “no one cares about the 3DS” comments. They come off kinda self-centred/selfish. Nintendo has every right to cater to their existing fanbase if they so choose. Plus Samus Returns probably wouldn’t even exist.

@AhabSpampurse Discounts are not free. Unless you already intended to, they’re trying to manipulate you into purchasing something you wouldn’t otherwise.

The 3DS hate is annoying, the Switch only has a fraction of the 3DS or even Wii U’s sales. Of course they’re not done with it yet.

It’s success is restricted by stock, but if it’s going to be successful, I can see it really taking off over the next year and a bit.

@shani Yeah I don’t know why they didn’t bother trying to rescue the Wii U. They did with the 3DS with price drops and stuff and it worked. Of course, that was early in it’s lifecycle. Maybe it’s harder for them to tell if a home console is doing badly. Or they just wanted to move on to the Switch.

@shani Huh? They did put resources into the Wii U, it didn't work. Nintendo is just much more successful with handhelds. GamePad just didn't bring much to the table.

They're also selling the regular new 3DS in NA on the online store. Now the Switch stock needs addressing.

Speaking of lack of availability, since when did NOA start selling the standard new 3DS on their refurbished online store? The Black Friday model is available too. So that's.. something...

@Maxz About the smoothies, what Nintendo is doing is forcing you to have certain fruits and vegetables at certain times per day, instead of letting you create your own flavour. That certainly can have its advantages but whether that prevents it from being boring or.not is opinion based.

@Grumblevolcano The 3DS and Wii U both use Nintendo Network so I figured they're the same servers. That's how the DS and Wii were.

What's the problem exactly, the product doesn't support French? Is it the box? As a Canadian I'm confused. This doesn't seem to affect France either.

@Devlind The difficult curve was changed to be harder. Did you use Pokémon Refresh? I definitely had much more fun with this game difficulty wise.

I thought these were full downloads for a second... nope! Bad as usual. And if it was offered 50% off already gold coins would need to be at least around 70 or 75% off.

Just had 30 Gold Coins expire that I was going to use to buy something but didn't due to lack of interest. My Nintendo is awful. Why do they even expire in such a short time?

The European version now offering games for gold coins is pretty good though. I'd have spent them if they were offering the same here.

@buildz I meant all of them. You just get random costumes on Easy and Normal and the rest are locked behind Expert. I've managed to complete Expert 3 times and Super Expert 0 times. I'm never getting them all. Not to mention the corresponding amiibo are likely nowhere to be found even if I did want to do it that way. They're completely inaccessible to me.

My biggest complaint about Super Mario Maker. Locking costumes behind the extremely unfair, unforgiving, and rather tedious & laborious (skipping bad levels or getting stuck) Expert and Super Expert modes is horrible. For me, torturous, not fun. Takes too long as well.

At least allow them to unlock on Normal. Maybe higher difficulties could unlock multiple at once.

It took almost three years into the 3DS' lifecycle for X & Y to come out. Hopefully they can handle a 2018 release if that's what they choose.

@panthro @AlienX "Colors" is not a mistake but "to" instead of "too" is. It's not the only mistake either, there's also "trough" instead of "through."

Honestly though it may not be professionaI but I didn't notice at first and IMO it's not really a big deal. Mistakes happen.

I'd rather just have it built into the system to be honest. Even Pokemon had built in voice chat.

I like mayo but it's quite a bit more gross than ketchup so I'd have to go with ketchup.

Miiverse isn't going anywhere only because of the 3DS, otherwise they'd be in a hurry to disable it.

It's been in development for years? Then where's the Wii U version? The Wii U hadn't "failed" yet back then. It was brand new. Could've ported it over to Switch.... /s

@Samus7Killer @thesilverbrick You're acting like Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Vita, PC and mobile devices haven't existed for years with better, high definition graphics. The 3DS not matching them is nothing new. If you could handle it back then then surely you can tolerate it's existence for another next year or two. The Switch is doing just fine.

I don't think this says much about 3DS production when the NN2DSXL is about to come out. The regular New Nintendo 3DS has NEVER really existed in North America so this is nothing new.

Still stuck on my launch day original model. At least it's still fully supported after 6 years, the DS, Wii, and Wii U didn't get this treatment.

I started with X&Y and they were pretty good but they're way too easy. I've had a lot of fun with Sun & Moon and love all the little improvements and even finished the dex, but seriously, there's no draw to these games when they've given nearly zero information. There is potential, but I'll remain cautious/skeptical for now...

It would be easier to get ports if it was more powerful but unlike with the last three systems it has a valid excuse to be "underpowered" as it is part portable.

The gameplay of the classic games is cheap and unfair. As long as they fix this then perhaps it can be well received. The graphics will ruin the attraction to most people though.

The only recent Sonic games I really liked are Generations and Colors and Forces looks similar to those. The rest were rushed/boring/unpolished.

It comes off like it's written by a classic fan that hates everything Sega has released past that. The Modern Sonic criticism takes it even further. It is balanced out by the Sonic Colors/Generations etc. remarks though.

Anyway lets at least give Sega a chance to polish up (or share more of) the game, those last months can be crucial, and we know how Sonic Team is with deadlines...
