Nintendo Switch Console
At this time of year many of the unique console bundles are sold out, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to find your very own Switch. Available in a variety of consoles and configurations, plenty of deals also include a game to accompany your new favourite handheld delight.
Nintendo Switch Games
Here are some of our favourite family friendly games for the Switch. Whether you're looking for a little light-hearted downtime over the holidays or a new game to give your console a good workout in 2018, you're bound to find a gem that'll shine both tabletop and handheld modes. Which ones will you catch your eye?
You can find more great Nintendo Switch games to pick up here.
Nintendo Switch Micro SD Cards
The Nintendo Switch only comes with 32GB of on-board memory which will get used up quickly with game updates. With that in mind, we'd recommend picking up a Micro SD card right away to boost your storage options. If you aren't a heavy downloader then the 128GB micro SD card will do nicely, but if you have deep pockets you can get one as large as 400GB.
These are four great options, but check out our Nintendo Switch Micro SD buyers guide for lots more.
Nintendo Switch Accessories
What's a console without accessories, people? There are always additional controllers and gadgets to purchase along with your lovely new machine, so have a look below and see if anything takes your fancy. Whether it's a brand new pair of Joy-Cons or a Pro Controller, we've got you covered.
Nintendo Switch Carrying Cases
One of the best things about the Switch is its portability, but when taking it with you on your travels we'd recommend picking up a protective case to keep that little box of wonders in good nick. You wouldn't want to damage that beautiful screen would you? Check our collection below and ensure your Switch is suitably armoured up on the move.

Nintendo Switch Power Banks
The Switch's internal battery offers between three to six hours of use, so if you're planning on taking it out of the house for an entire day you may want to invest in one of these to keep you running. Having one of these powered-up bad boys in your bag will ensure your extended Breath Of The Wild sessions can go on for hours when you're travelling away from home.
Feel free to check out our review of the AUKEY 30000 mAh, which we'd highly recommend.

If you in the UK, go get Xenoblade 2. Not a perfect game, but for the love of god it should still be in the top 40 in week 2.
Any recommendation for USB Type A to C cables and alternative charger for the switch?
1-2-Switch should NEVER make a list of best games to buy.
@Agramonte The digital version seems to be doing well surprisingly. Last I looked it's 1st on the US Eshop and 2nd in UK.
"Have I got everything I need? "
Yes I do, more than enough to last me throughout 2018 but I can't help myself from spending money when it comes to this console. Every week is an expensive week. I've got games I haven't even seen the title screen of yet.

These omissions are borderline criminal! I grabbed a 400gb micro SD, and scooped a 2nd one for $75 off from an Amazon Spain import. The Nyko kickstand stores a spare SD. I love it
Wow. The Switch is such an expensive Nintendo system to have in comparison to the previous ones. 🤔 128gb SD? I have a 16 on my N3DS and it took forever to fill up.
Here's an accessory I highly recommend for those who play in tabletop mode often:

Foldable tablet/smartphone stand that's perfect for the Switch. Very simple, fits easily in my carrying case, and allows me to adjust the angle of the screen flawlessly when in tabletop mode.
There's tons of similar options in varying degrees of quality, so I'm not saying this particular one is the best, but I'm very happy with the results, and consider it essential for my tabletop playing.
I don't need a memory card yet but I might need one by next summer. Maybe start buying now.
It's not family friendly but Doom is a must have.
I would have loved a 400 gb microSD, but yikes, they're almost as expensive as the Switch itself! Luckily, I got a 200 GB for $50 on Black Friday.
My power bank is Aukey's recently released 30000 mAh bank power delivery version (you want power delivery so it charges as quickly as the Switch's own adapter). Cable is an Amazon Basics 6 ft c to c cable. I also got an Aukey wall charger that supports USB c cables and USB a as well (also has power delivery). I highly recommend Aukey's products if you want other ways to charge your Switch. I'll be taking a relatively long drive soon to visit someone, and it'll be great having enough power to play whenever I want along the way to and from there.
So in most cases the best place is amazon?
That's because you get a share isn't it?
Why won't anyone put their name to these articles?
I'm done
@cmk8 I know, it's an annoying way for them for just say "hey, give us a kickback!" when Amazon isn't always the best place to buy from. Amazon Canada for example, is a pile of steaming goat sh*t. I almost never buy anything from them. Awful prices and terrible selection.
Always best to do one's own research.
I noticed the prices on this guide are a good bit lower than the actual Amazon prices that you're clicking through to. Super Mario Odyssey is $54.98 for example.
Also when it comes to SD Cards, don't buy SanDisk. Transcend and Sony are just as good (if not better) and are generally cheaper. I wouldn't call them the Beats Audio of SD cards, but you are paying for the brand with SanDisk.
@cmk8 Technically it says nothing about the best place to buy... clever wording.
I have to recommend the waterfield design CitySlicker with a leather strap, so you can carry it as a purse. I love it. It was expensive, but it’s actually the best part of my Switch so far... It has plenty of space & does an amazing job of protecting the Switch. You can also look stylish while carrying it, and if you’re a grown woman like me, it really matters.
