How long will Nintendo support the game with new characters/stages/modes? I will buy the game once all content has been added only because I was so busy with Zelda, Mario Kart, Mario + Rabbids and currently with Odyssey and next month Xenoblade 2. Can't wait to buy the game with all the added content, love the art style, characters and stages.

@TDS_Computer Thanks for your comment! Getting excited to buy the game early 2018. I'm buying Xenoblade 2 as a Christmas present for myself first and then probably Skyrim. I just beat Mario + Rabbids, starting Odyssey today. Mario and a couple of multiplayer games will keep me busy until Christmas before diving deep into Xenoblade 2 and hopefully Skyrim after that.

Guys please help haha: I never played a game in the Elder Scrolls series but I love RPG's and an epic story. Does Skyrim deliver in that regard? I played Fallout 3 back in the day but I didn't like the lack of direction of where to go. At this point i'm almost convinced to buy Xenoblade 2 first because of those reasons.

Surprised they're going to support the game well into 2018. Earlier this year new artwork leaked for their next game with a very different setting. Great studio, always hard at work it seems.

I love the game i'm getting this December. The DLC doesn't bother me at all, that's a thing for Fall/Autumn 2018 to see if it's worth it or not.

@Undead_terror Rejoice! The official press release also mentions the Wii U getting the Rex outfit side quest.

So excited for the game. The expansion pass is fine, I will buy it once I get a clear picture of the extra story content in about a year time haha!

I loved Ever Oasis! Played it all Summer. I wouldn't mind a HD remake on the Switch. This game deserves more attention.

Can't wait for this game, but sadly it will have to wait until the Christmas break.

@HappyMaskedGuy They should not have released the digital version at all, just waited for the retail version with all the patch work. A Switch owner who decided to buy this game wouldn't mind waiting 1 month longer for a better experience.

Hopefully the retail version will have all these patches already downloaded. The first experience with the retail version will be a lot better i guess.

If we all wait for FIFA 19 to include all the modes no one will buy this game and EA will abandon the Switch... What to do?

My take on E3 2017:

1. Nintendo will focus most of the time on the announced Switch games for 2017, but i'm expecting at least 2 new first party game announcements, 1 for Holiday 2017 and 1 for Spring 2018.

2. Third party studios won't have much this E3 because of their experience with the Wii U. It's until now that they're seeing how successful the Switch is, Nintendo will have to carry the first year. Next year we will see third party studios supporting the Switch way more.

3. The Nintendo 3DS will get at least 2 new first party game announcements during the Treehouse Live for the Fall and Holiday 2017.

4. Indie developers will announce a lot more games for the Switch, especially this early on and while third party studios aren't embracing the system yet.

Any chance of new game announcements?

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Remember that a lot of people did not own a Wii U. I think a lot of people went away after the Wii era and are now coming back to Nintendo. I do think it's a bummer for Wii U owners these early months with the Switch, but I really think the situation will change within the first year.

It's waiting for Fire Emblem Echoes for the 3DS on April 20th and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch on April 28th.

Criticism is great but their strategy is theirs to make, we as consumers can like it and praise it or dislike it and critisize it, but there's isn't just 1 way to do business. At the end, we are talking about it and discussing it, that's ultimately free publicity for Nintendo.

@shinobi87 I need those colors in my life. Tired of my black Wii and black Wii U, although the grey Switch looks very mature and sleek, the neon colors are beautiful.

Themes will come to Switch for sure. They had success with it on the 3DS.

I CAN NOT WAIT! More time in Hyrule is always a great thing for me!

I was a faithful supporter of the Wii U, i'm still playing the system till early March. If the game got released in January or even this week I would have made time to play the game until the Switch came out.

Most important thing is to be able to access the eShop, I have no need for other streaming apps or a web browser. My laptop and tv do these things already at home, and my phone when i'm outside.

@MrYuzhai Amen to that! Strip useless apps and speed up the operating system is more important to me. Though Netflix and Spotify would be awesome later this year

Missed this game on the Wii U, getting this version for sure on my New 3DS XL

Zelda, Bomberman and Has-Been Heroes for me, together with a 128 GB SD card and a Pro controller.

I want Baby Mario and Baby Luigi amiibo figures, not just on cards!! Kidding

Can't wait to download this game! Perfect game to have it digitally, easy and quick to pick up and play in between my bigger single player games. I skipped the Animal Crossing amibbo cards, but I really want a stack of cards from my Mushroom Kingdom buddies.

@Pazuzu666 From my understanding the Joy Cons are far superior than even the Motion Plus technology. Arms and 1, 2 Switch showed some tech that's better than the Motion Plus. We'll have to wait and see, I can't really see the Joy Cons being behind the Motion Plus technology.

@Untempered-Link Can't wait for Skyward Sword HD! Especially knowing now that the Joy Cons work perfectly using motion controls for the game. Hopefully it will see a release in 2018/2019, as a way to ease the wait for the next true Zelda.
