Nintendo has revealed the next fighter coming to its Switch combat title, ARMS.
Lola Pop is a clown-like character with baggy, MC Hammer pants and a red nose. Her stage appears to have a "sweet" theme, and is shown off the official video below.
Lola Pop also comes with three brand-new Arms to equip. She'll be introduced to the game when version 3 launches.

I will finally decide if i'm going to buy the game after the next Global Testpunch.
Really must go back to this game again for a while. Been hooked on Splatoon 2 since launch and can't bring myself to not have a few online games of it when I get the time to play lol. Before I know it, I've spent all my gaming time on Splatoon and don't have time for ARMS lol.

It appears she's the first character that can shield in midair and move around while shielded. That should mix things up a bit. These updates are making this game new again and again. I love it.

@Rika_Yoshitake I thought it seemed Spanish too but I thought she would have been a French themed character seeming as she's a clown with a pastry stage.

I may have missed it but does anybody know when this update is released ? I just started playing arms again last night after a month straight of Splatoon 2 and now I wake up to this great news.
Nice!! Keeps up with the pattern of looking nothing like anyone else, yet fitting right in. The weapons are cool editions, and the ability to block in mid-air is interesting.
In a way I'm kinda glad that Nintendo has had problems delivering my Splatoon 2 pre-order since it allows me to avoid the struggle balancing time!
Some people thought it was a clown. Some people thought it was a girl in baggy pants. Some people thought it looked sorta like a baker.
Guess no one was proven wrong here.

Also, I love how they change the gorgeous title screen art for each new character. I hope we get an option to choose which one to use later. And art for the rest of the established roster too!
the new fighter seems nice. now we just need new gear for splatoon. maybe some ARMS themed gear for splatoon
The ugliest ARMS character, properly left as a bonus.
