@cyrus_zuo How is Civ 6? I'm so tempted, but I never played a game in the series... is it a good entry point for a n00b like me?

@james_mueller True, though I'm not really that much bothered by them. If anything, they complete the team to give their perspective on all the political stuff. As a player you experience it all in-depth through Basch, Balthier, Fran, Ashe and Balthier and the effects of the political war on the 'kids' Vaan and Penelo.

In my opinion, FF 12 has one of the best story in the series!

Just bought the starter pack for €30, as I don't want to have digital version on my Switch after i'm done with the game. Can't wait to play the game!

Finally! I waited so long for this game, as they have thankfully made the battle system more engaging. I can easily manage my time playing on the Switch and 3DS, so I will definitely pick this one up.

It's been secretly a nice year for my 3DS, i've added Radiant Historia, Detective Pikachu, WarioWare Gold, Luigi's Mansion and now Yo-Kai Watch 3 to my collection.

@mister_magnus That sounds great! I can't take too difficult games. Especially indie games can be frustratingly difficult to me and I just quit them and never go back to them. Would like to know in advance if i'm able to finish a game.

Is the game difficult? Or is it manageable for a n00b?

I really think these Wii U ports are for a crowd that missed out on the Wii U. To them these games are brand new. It would've been a nice gesture of Nintendo to offer a discount to the owners of the original games on Wii U... like the system they used with upgrading your Virtual Console titles on Wii to Wii U.

@YummyHappyPills I think it's the price you actually pay, so the discounted price counts. For example: ARMS is 40 euros, 5% of it is 2 euros = 200 gold points.

After all the updates, enhancements and additions...i'm ready to finally buy ARMS after I try the demo on March 31st!

They need to do more to get me back to playing Kirby games after Epic Yarn and Return to Dream Land on Wii and Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot on 3DS. While I liked all the aforementioned games, Star Allies seems like a safe, traditional sequel but I played enough of those.

I think Fire Emblem would be better to be shown on this Direct instead of at E3. I actually like the fact they're taking their time, after an overload with Fates in 2016, Echoes, Heroes and Warriors in 2017.

I will be fine with a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD announcement and wait for E3 to hear more about Prime 4.

As for 3DS... bring over Yo-Kai Watch 3. At least 1 fan wants the game. And Dragon Quest 11... loved 7 and 8 on 3DS!

Keeping my expectations in check: No news on Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon, Bayonetta 3... that's all for E3 me thinks!

Is this confirmed for Europe as well? They had a pretty spotty track record releasing the games in Europe, Unlimited came more than a year after the NA release and Unmasked skipped EU.

I really do think it will happen next week by now. 1st week of January the whole company was on christmas break I guess. They're recording and editing the Direct this week, publishing it next week to get all the official press releases and media ready by then.

@dkxcalibur I bet it was a awesome game, but it's stuck on the Wii U and a lot of people didn't have that console. But I get your point because you played the game already. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because Returns on the Wii got a port with extra levels on the 3DS. Maybe they could do the same with TF but for the Switch. I do see a new DKC coming, but not in 2018.

Well, let me see... I would love if they ported DKC: Tropical Freeze and Pikmin 3 over to the Switch with some extra levels or in the case of Pikmin 3 all the DLC included since I missed those games on the Wii U.

My guess is they will announce Animal Crossing for the Switch in this Direct to capitalize on Pocket Camp. And I think we will get a teaser for Metroid Prime 4.

We will not see Pokémon or Smash Bros., those are big blockbuster games, perfect for E3 to catch all the buzz during a week where all companies show their big guns.

I chose Ever Oasis and Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS! Absolutely loved both games so much! I can't recommend Ever Oasis enough, please give it a try. The gameplay loop is so addictive, the graphics are very pretty and the story is just lovely.

Finally getting XC2 next week, I can't wait to binge that game, got like 10 days free from life... I mean work. Meanwhile I'm so happy with Odyssey!

Does the game support local splitscreen multiplayer? Got a Pro controller and a set of Joycons. Would be nice to play it at home with my friends and family.
