@SuperZeldaFun My initial reaction is to argue against you and any sort of censorship but you are of course 100% correct in what you say. I like sexy anime girls as much as the next pervert but you are clearly right, we need to do better than this. You can't just draw a school girl and then say in the character bio she is actually 18 so everything is fine. I'm no prude but this sort of thing really shouldn't exist in this day and age.

£64 seems perfectly reasonable to me. That's a hell of a lot of content. Don't see anyone paying the prices for the individual releases however.

@Giancarlothomaz Not a straight port, it would need to be pretty much redone from the ground up, which may have been worth it when the game was new but is unlikely to recoup the costs if Square did it now.

$72 will probably be around £69.99 over here (assuming similar discount)? That really isn't bad if you look at cost per game. The Cloud thing is obviously the issue here though. A lot of money when you don't know how it will run or if you will even like the games or not.

I thought this whole thing would be an absolute mess but actually they are clearly taking it really seriously. Brilliant job all round with the casting so far.

Game Pass Ultimate is £11 a month so is almost four times more expensive than this. If you are counting a special offer then you are not comparing apples with apples. Less than £3 a month is fine.

@Luneth How can that work though when you unlock items in the DLC that decorate your own island? Surely they can all disappear as they will hardwired into your game at that point?

Anyway the whole service is just 35 quid so I'm happy to keep paying that.

@Stocksy Prices now confirmed and it is only 35 quid for the whole year. 35 quid for NES, SNES, N64 and Mega Drive games, new games like Tetris 99 and Bomberman and a huge Animal Crossing DLC worth £22.50. That is less than £3 a month. How is that expensive?

@Stocksy You don't know that, for all you know once you download the update it's yours forever even if you cancel at the end of year. Also if this sets a precedent for future DLC for other games to be included on the service then it could prove to be great value. Let's wait until we actually know everything that is included.

So that means the online expansion is £45. So it costs £27 more than the basic online and includes £22.50 worth of DLC. So the remaining N64 and Mega Drive games are effectively £4.50 extra. Sounds pretty good if you split it out that way.

Could they not at least be holding a pick axe or something? Or standing on some blocks? I mean I'll buy them because I own them all but these are instantly my least favourite of the entire amiibo range.

@Old-Red Legally they don't have to honour a mistake but if only a few people managed to take advantage they will hopefully honour it for a bit of good publicity. It's not as if they accidentally charged zero for it or something.

@MarioLinkSamus In the UK a 'punt' is a bet so 'worth a punt' means 'worth a gamble'. In America you punt the ball away from you which is a negative thing as you are getting rid of something.

If anyone is thinking of giving Immortals Fenyx Rising a go I just ordered it off ebay from Boss Games for £34 using the current voucher offer. I was going to hold off but that was an amazing price.

I played the demo for that Kingdom Hearts rhythm game. Couldn't get my head around it as it was just too hard to tell when you were meant to hit the notes. It all got a bit confusing but the music is undeniably great and it certainly has charm. One to watch for when it's on cheap.

Ordered this with Boss Deals on ebay for less than 40 quid. Never played this style of game though so shall eagerly be awaiting the demo.

@StuTwo Every level was beatable but there was a bug in one where you could not pick up the collectible once it spawned. Unfortunately this meant that you could never access the final bonus level. As a kid I used to fully complete the game with all collectibles before i permitted myself to enter the cheat code that unlocked the bonus level.

Really enjoyable game but rough around the edges. Great ideas, but so-so execution. Still, I loved it.

That's pretty much how I get if I manage to win a game of Smash too.

If you wanted to buy all three it would be cheaper than the article says as you would obviously buy a larger cheaper currency pack and not 1000 at a time. Still a rip off of course but let's at least get the facts right.

You have to believe there will be a Switch version if it is at all possible. I would imagine that they are just concentrating on the other versions first before seeing if a port will be feasible. N Sane Trilogy sold so well they would be crazy to ignore Switch.

I love Queen, but I suck at Sing Star at the best of times. Me trying to copy Freddie Mercury would be a disaster for all involved.

Looking at the photos I reckon the screen rotates so that the level moves right to left with Mario staying roughly where he is. That is really cool indeed.

CrossCode is in danger of going beneath people's radar. It is one of the highest rated games of the last year and shouldn't be missed. Great price too.

@fafonio I would say that game is fairly fondly remembered. I would love to play it again come to think of it.

@Ladasta Wow a lot of people here misunderstanding you buddy. I think it has always been handheld games like the Pokemon titles on DS which have managed it before. And not very many of them.
